Building fun since 2012 - Авто та транспорт
2 things a builder gets but never give a fuck about using:
1) manual
2) chain guard
😆
.
I build many and use both
i just bought that motor and put it together i had a 12v 3.5a and it worked fine
Centrifugal clutch liquid (fluid) can be found next to the blinker fluid at AutoZone FYI
You do a very thorough job of explaining these products.
After watching your videos I decided to order a bt-80
Hopefully I can handle it I'm a very mechanically and capable guy if I have any questions I may hit you up thank you good job
IT WAS FUNNY WHEN YOU BLOW THE FORM DUST AWAY, EVERYBODY DOES THAT WE IN HURRY, THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO.
Does that run a 6v system then or is it a 12v stator?
Hey can you change out the jugs on the BT80? is the bottom of the jug the same as all the others?
Nice man thanks for the videos
true size engine kits true sizes 70cc for this bt80 kit. i-Ready in the manual for this engine kit. just want you to know that
I have a normal bike engine and I’m looking to install a pull start on it. Any recommendations or tips?
I like the engine but I am wondering if the battery can be mounted someplace else besides under the bike like say on a bike rack behind the seat if possible or is that not possible
I plan on moving both the batt and component box to a set of saddle bags on the sides of the rear of the bike
I'm glad to see you're back I hope your doing good place looks nice you have a great weekend Alex
I bought this kit a few years back when building a new work bike. It's nice having no clutch lever and the push button start. But it lacks the torque power a standard engine has so it accelerates slower and pulling the trailer is a big oof when riding up a shallow hill in town here. Engine finally died on me a few weeks back. It would start with a lot of work but the engine would never throttle up and idled pretty crappy. So I bought a new kit. The new one did the exact same thing. Ended up going back to the regular kits instead. Pedaling on a bike not made for pedaling is a mother, but it's great having an engine I can rely on not to cry when I want to do more than a cruise on level ground.
Never a real fan of the exhaust on that engine either. The copper ring worked and sealed it fine, but there is nothing but that exhaust out there for it
:post edit: The battery setup, oy. Ditched that as soon as I got it. Mounted the battery in a 30 cal ammo can and mounted it on the rear side of the bike. Let me install a kill switch too. Box is still on there to run the lights
How long did it last and is it worth buying
@@danajettMine lasted about a year. I swapped to ebikes since. Buddy of mine at work still does them, he swaps them out about every year or so. So no, I wouldn't say they're worth it long term.
hey!! could you help me out my motorised is a regular one from ebay and was working very well but last ride something happened and now it only free wheels if the clutch isn’t in it still free wheels could you make a video or get in touch with me! thank you so much
It,s easy to install runs nice I bought one year and 1/2 ago battery put on side of the back tire use clamps made holes on plastic batt. Case
Yeah I just asked if there was a complete motor setup or if it was an optional kit to add on just waiting to hear back
Looks nice !
Now just waiting for delivery in the next two weeks or so
say "sen-triff-igg-ul". haha just bustin balls. great videos and keep them coming
Hahaha yeah thanks! I just noticed that. Wtf! The hell is a centra-fuge-al
Nice one mate looks good
awesome I was happy you made a video about the BT80 engine kit I showed you. I am looking forward to more videos keep it up you doing a good job
cool stuff keep up the good videos
i have the same engine kit what oil you use during break in period
Nice office
How does the battery get charged?
Where did you think of the belt drive system from zeda Motorsports
So is the crank balance there you or do you not know
Is the piston, con-rod, and the jug and head ( combination ) interchangeable with the YT100 ? Thank-you in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙄
My kit was not connected and smelled like gasoline I'm so pissed off.
Also is this a 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine and does it come in 4 stoke? Thank you.
It's a 2 stroke bruh
The mount u was using on the video¡
Its the one for a chopper stingray or spoiler bike?
Can u install the belt drive spool on the gt80 ?
Greasing the drive gears must be a lot of fun .
I know.
The 4 stroke is more practical for constant use. They should redesign it. I would pay more for that. A pocket bike engine could be used though. I don't know.
Question I brought a 50cc motor bike on top of engine there are no engine stud and bolts. Is it a new build?? Or are they missing?? Thank you
Is there some at the bottom of the jug? Ive seen several new ones with a single piece cylinder and head.
Is The big red button and extra 2 wires for lights?
Awesome
If u get a plastic lawnmower gas tank and fuel line you can oil motorized bike fuel like and shove it in with some trial and error. Haven't blown a single tank since
Hey Alex you guys have a merry Christmas to you and your family be safe
You to buddy
.whats the fuel ratio
Hello, friend, is the motor AC alternating current or DC direct current?
Awesome i am bout to buy one of these only because i think it would be better to do the breaking in the winter the only reason I’ve been thinking this would be the best time is because it’s getting cold in Michigan and the cool weather may help with the breaking period vs the hot heat in the summer does that make any sense to you? Yes or No?
Honestly ive never had 100% luck breaking engines in winter. I figured the cold would help set the metal. not rly
Buy the kit from the link in the description it helps the channel!
Please dont buy these, or any of there variants.
They are all garbage, and its a crap shoot as to whether or not you get more than a season out of them.
One guys personal experience against that of a bevy of disgruntled buyers speaks volumes. They are trash.
Buy American or buy Japanese. At the very least, buy a Predator. Its cheaper anyway.
Max speed ?
I have been getting those battery at cabelas for twenty dollars
@Motored Life Hey, May You tell me, how is that Engine Holder (You used to review the Engine on), is called,? I'll be Really Grateful 🙏🏻,
70cc BT
I want to know ur appending on the G7 engine
Hey alex ! I've got a question fof you !! I just got a 66/80 cv engine from bike bery and im not getting a spark ? Is there a way to test the magnito to see if thats the problem ? And the same question about the CDI ckil pack ?
Get a volt meter or just grab the wires and spin the wheel with the plug out and wait for the⚡lol 😆
@@MotoredLife I did that but nothing ! A friend thought he'd hook up the wiring for me whil2i was at work.and he hooked the wires up wrong ! I mean , i kniw he did !! Because when i git home they weren't booked up right and i kniw now that he smoked the magnito up !! 😞😞😞
@@MotoredLife Done that !! Nothin !! 😢😢
Kelly Brooks well i mean tell me whats he supposed to respond with?
This is the same kit that I fitted last weekend. I would be interested to see what you do with the carb. Also, I used the idler that came with it, but drilled a hole through the centre and put a bolt through so it can’t twist into the spokes. The battery I put where the manual suggests, but I might move it onto the rear rack. Glad I found this channel. Keep your neighbours happy.😆
Hey Alex do you ever get that new 80cc with electric stater
This is it
Have you seen a newer style had for the BT,80 Depot to train from bikeberry can you do a update video with your BGA bullet train it's been a couple years I want to see if you ever did I know you got a lot of projectsand you should make a video of how to replace a triple cooling fan clutch is no videos online for the replacement
i had a question with this motor mine turns on will accelaerate but wont go
The clutches are tricky make sure.the pads are setting at the correct rpm
Clutch adjustment on the bt80 please
I have a question I'm getting this motor soon now can I put a different type of gas tank on like a Harley Davidson one
No
Lol
A gas tank holds gas.
how much did it cost in all to make this
looking forward to someone thats ready to step up with one of these motors! think these may be a different look into our hobby!
Paul...when I learn a little more I'll be doing 0.25mm oversized piston & rings if & when you need it.And std bore replacement rings & gasket set but I'm in New Zealand 🇳🇿 recovering from a massive stroke that nearly killed me @ 57 & has left me in a wheelchair after 5 months in hospital fed by a tube. Its about $300-$400 $US freight on Amazon ( unless somebody can buy for me and send to California (Gardena) or 2nd choice Portland Oregon or third buy & send 1 kit for me & send an electric start version via SEA FREIGHT to Wellington & then I can do more std bore pistons: modified even for even more power ( I'm an ex Honda CR125m Elsinore 1970's MX er) that was so quick for a 74 bike a test pilot said it was faster than his CZ250..& in a drag race was dead even with the then new YZ 125 '79 with it's Monoshock...it was still on its original Bridgestone tyres & Std bore ( wish I still had it 😓)& my old M.D., IS there anybody who wants to help me/us out if I make custom parts available, I cheated Death & can only do light work on a table.Cheers Trev NZ home of the world's fastest old Indian & Indy/Daytona winner Scott Dickson 🇳🇿😇
Looks like a beast!!
That's a Secret Motor Cycle. THE BULLET.
Can you add custom parts on that bullet train engine and but where to go get them parts🙎🤷🙎 what website to go get good custom parts but anyway thank you for the video helps me out so I can so help my brother to put his engine the right way ty😘💯😍😊
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP: Hello! I currently have 2 motorized bikes. One of them has the normal stock engine head bolts, with the head easily removed to replace the gaskets/the head itself. The other one however, has allen bolts holding down the engine, with the head and body being smaller. It doesnt appear that you can replace the head and put on a high compression head, which I am planning to do. They are both 2 stroke kits.HELP
other than milling the cylinder very carefully yourself or have a shop do it, there are no aftermarket cylinders for these. possibly you could find a domed piston but these are not really good for modifying. pretty much limited to a thinner base gasket, carb and home-made expansion pipe. port work would also be difficult
Is there a owners manual pdf? Or can you tell me the right clutch fluid to use
What sprocket will help me with mpg or speed?
...not buying these motors.
do you sell your bikes with the motor on them at all
I sell everything
i can find this kit on ebay in the uk for £160, would it be the same make and the same sort of quality as this one?
Do you have a link?

Yep thats the same one! 80.99 to ship though
Do you sell that piece for motor on your table????
I've had mine up and running for a couple of months. Seems like a very well made engine, but couldn't seem to get the mix lean enough for partial throttle. Going to try a diaphram carb for a Stihl chainsaw (has high & low enrichment screws and separate idle screw). No more screwing around with jets if it works out.
How did the chainsaw carb work out? Did you have any mounting issues or did it mount right up? I'm curious to know how that went.
@@RodneyUpshaw it actually worked out great. I did need to fabricate a mount for the carb, which I just used a big washer with an inner diameter that was close to the intake (19mm or 3/4"). I drilled the holes in the washer to mount the carb and JB welded the washer to the end of the intake (made a thick FelPro gasket to isolate the carb from as much heat as possible. From there, all I needed to do was attach an arm to the throttle linkage (just cut off a 1.5" section of a paint can opener and mounted it to the throttle linkage with a screw and locknut). For the cable, I just crimped on an electrical ring terminal and used a small brass binding post to hold the throttle onto the arm. I also fabricated a cable stop and attached it in line with the throttle assembly.
There are 2 types of carbs out there - ones that have the pulse port at the intake, and ones that require a separate hose for the pulse. For the intake pulse type, you'll need to make sure the pulse hole is exposed to the intake for it to pump. For the carbs that require a separate hose, just cut a small section of 1/8" diameter brass or aluminum tube and drill an appropriate sized hole into the intake and JB weld the tube in place. Yes, it does require a decent amount of fabrication but not having to mess with jets and fuel leaks is more than worth it. Every motor I've installed a diaphragm carb on has run fantastic. The BT80 I put it on was able to hit just over 40mph with a 40 tooth sprocket!
Hey bro do you got any motor bike kits for sale
Piston 70cc??
Its about time they came up with a 1 piece head that is a honda trick because it works well starter sounds good but its one more thing to go out. I like the china girls for their simplicity.
I like the concept of this build and am thinking on a project of my own and want to build a hybrid bike that runs on both gas and electric using a mid drive motor ( electric ) and a gas engine with a bolt on jack shaft so that I can also use the gears on the rear wheel how much does this motor cost along with the pushbutton start and do you need a scenic type of battery for it? Please let me know and can you possibly send me a video on how you set up the engine and starter button and relay from start to finish complete? I would really appreciate it
I comment, I like, I subscribe 👍😎
I thank you for watching!
I have myself but at a year riding it start having some problems
Can you explain the problems?
I'm thinking that you could possibly take off the pull start stuff to make it thinner and lighter.
That wouldn't help much at all
Sounds nice till your battery dies and you have no way to start the bike.
Drcool52 dude you have 2 way to start the engine,.even if the battery dies
@@b.o.x1427 You have pull start and electric start. There are 2 ways total including electric start.
@@urmomsahoe1 drop the clutch u dummy lol
Do you sell any of the motorized bikes that you build?
I can! What do you want?
Cuz it's too much work pedaling my bike shut off going up the hill I had to go back down the hill so can you let me know
Where do i get this
Cool! I've been wanting something like this with a pull and/or button start! Pedal starting for me is just horrible. I hope it works out for you!
maybe get a electric bike to help with pedaling and put a motor on it to drive lol
Alright
All I want is the motor and the battery pack you can keep all the rest
Can the head come off of the bt 80? Lmk please. I dont think it does which if not that kinda stinks but you know!
The head and jug are one piece. The next vid I take it apart
@@MotoredLife i look forward to that vidio
Like it
It says it needs a 12v 7aH battery
What's the ratio mix on the bullet train
32:1
How many ounces is that to a gallon I just bought me a bullet train from watching your videos.
I love mine but I've rode it over 800 miles now it fills like it's vapor locking
Have you started putting together yet
Nope not yet
Which Zeda motor you would say is the fastest on miles per hour?
They are making aluminum gas tanks
would this work with a motor ready bike???
Dont waste your money kid.
A 79cc Predator is $99.
A 212cc Predator is $99.
@@robspear03 79cc = junk. 212cc = no business being on a bicycle (you can't build one strong enough to handle the torque)
better off with a normal China girl for $70 and bump start
I want to get one of these but there 2 expensive and would rather just get a 212cc engine kit
Yeah I rather get the predator too it's just better
Smart man.
If you gotta buy Chinese, at least buy a Predator. Has a warranty, HF will take it back and they have TONS of aftermarket support.
Stay way from these Happy Time paperweights.
why? longevity of yourself and the bike are not long with 212's. people think "ohhh $100 and I have a 212cc 6.5 hp engine. what they don't think about is there is no bicycle frame made that can withstand the torque of a 212. and at that price point, you'll be way farther ahead to just have a 250cc motorcycle or 150cc scooter.
strong bike frames can handle 3-4hp /20 lb-ft. China girls don't have that torque so they r good to go. you start playing with mid-size 4 strokes and find out real quick what torque from a standstill multiplied by jackshaft gearing will do
I bought a Bullet Train 80cc with electric start(but its actually a 70cc 2 stroke as your channel shows us🤔) i cant get the electric start to get the engine to run,the bike is wired correctly to *attempt* to start, but the engine wont catch like as if there is some sort of faulty miniature electric fuel pump inside this BT engine, only once did the engine catch was with the pull recoil starter, and even then the engine didnt run long for about 1 minute, and i never was able to get that BT electric start to catch after that,i am the only guy in my neighborhood that has a BT80cc electric start gasbike among those owning standard non electric start 80cc gasbikes, nobody near me dont know enough about this faulty electric start BT80 electric strart CRANKEN-Stein,as to why the electric start turns over, but the engine wont catch? when you took apart this BT80 electric start, did you see anything that looked like a tiny fuel pump of any kind?
Did you eventually make a video of the build like you said? Looking forward to the next video.
all pull starts are mostly plastic now, its usually pretty strong stuff. These motors dont take much to pull over shouldent have to pull hard enough to break anything
Do you have to order the pull start from Amazon
Smoother than a china girl, but the one piece jug had me wondering, building a board track replica, will let the boys know how this works out!!
Paul you need to Google Vintage Electric Bicycles .... Looks just like trackers!!!
if you dont know here is the new info for there new case read engine www.rdmanu.com and they have the new clutch pads and rubber as well as those pipes
Ryan is the best!
Great motor haven't seen alot of info on it could you be the first
Im gonna rip it apart and see whats inside

Well dam I paid more for a phantom 85 that's made to fail... I'm on my third phantom and I haven't even put it on my bike yet. I already know it will fail. I can see the ring end gap through the intake port..
