ok thx you so much. i just got back from the lake after tring a raley for the first time. and everytime i throw it i would go raley to s bend to back roll. 1 of the raleys i tried i landed in a back roll. the wakeskate looks like a sweet tip. thx for the vid, i think this is the best raley vid on utube
Hey... Thanks for posting this video. I got this trick down after watching this. As a matter of fact, i bought the Detention 2012 because of this video from Amazon. Thanks a lot for taking the time to post this video... It has helped me more than you will ever know!
I highly recommend trying a raley using a wake skate before taking it to the wakeboard. The trick is not that difficult but it requires you to hold onto the rope while flying with your body parallel to the water. Trying it a few times on the wake skate will minimize any damage done to your body while giving you the confidence to take it to the wakeboard. A little confidence goes a long way
Great vid.....I cant Wait to try it... Do you highly reccomend starting on a wake skate. I have some previous wakeboarding experience but no big tricks etc.
what do you mean by going slow and pop? by pop you mean popping off the wake? and my understanding is you edge as hard as you can on you back and when you reach the base of the weight you shift your weight from your heel to the toe... havent tried it yet. do i have the right understanding?
okay so i can do this now, but i'm not getting that much air.. like i ride the 2010 wakesetter vtx and that throws a pretty big wake, but i'm just not getting the height and as much pop i believe. unless it's my board? i'm riding the 2011 liquid force flex, does the softness of the board absorb most of my pop? please help.

do you pop at all or just a big angle?
I've smashed myself a few times trying this. I tend to flip over on my back.
