I'm not gonna lie, it's a lot of fun.... not as enjoyable as wheeling it but it's still a good time. Even though it's loud, and bouncy, I'm a huge fan of rolling the Pig through town or down a country road. Shifting gears, and mashing the skinny pedal, you have the means to put on the signal light and drive down through the ditch, a goat path you spot or any curb in your way. And when it comes to winter, it's still basically unstoppable. There hasn't been enough snow fall to date that I couldn't drive through it. Drifts are a different story... but the Pig has punched through some huge ones! A truck like this gives you the freedom and options when it comes to the weather and terrain. Whether you're bouncing through the rhubarb or echoing exhaust notes off the buildings in town, it's pretty awesome cruising in the Ditch Pig. - Авто та транспорт
If you roll 40" tires or bigger on the street, put your province or state in the comments along with what tire you run.
I'm rocking 44s on my K10!!!!
👍👍👍
Those kids are going to remember that truck for the rest of their lives. When I was a kid, my dad had a 78 Ford short bed on 38's as a daily driver. Some of my best childhood memories were riding in that truck. I'm 31 now and I still have the truck, sitting in the corner of my shop.
True story, they love it. Fix that Ford up and run her. Don't forget to video it and post it on UA-cam. Thanks for watching!
Man, that’s awesome. I still remember riding around in my uncle’s old squarebody when I was a kid. Probably 20+ years ago now. Cool video!
Thanks, one of my favorite videos. My dad had a 4spd square in the 80s. Lots of drives in that. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Takes me back to riding around with my dad and grandpa on our farm in their manual transmission f250 and 70 scout . Same reason I drive a 94 bronco and 69 gmc truck with manual transmissions !
Yep, I hear ya, it's a way of life. You can see in the comments all the other people saying the same thing lol. The nostalgia is crazy. Thanks for watching man 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wheeling with my dad & uncle in the 70s turn me into a four-wheel-drive nut ! I have three jeeps that are purpose built rigs that will go anywhere that I point them. If they don’t make it, the winch will drag them through it. I have two Square Body‘s that are too nice to wheel in I just take them to the Sandune’s and play.
Nice! 15 years I've had this truck. I'm a lifer lol. Just like you brother. 👍🏻🤘🤘🤘
My dad had International Scouts. I was memorized by them. Today I have 3 jeeps and an OBS Chevy plus a 78 K5 on 38s.
Love this guys truck! Rock-N-Roll!
@rdude1184 I had an '89 K5, all stock, but i sold it. I can only afford the Pig lol. 🐖 maybe someday I'll get rich from UA-cam and buy another one..... they're worth a small fortune now! Congrats on still having one. Someday you'll be able to sell it and retire! Lol Thanks for watching brother. 👍🏻

Yes sir. Last time she was out I broke the front drive shaft.... check out the video, wheeled the rest of the trail in 2wd 😆
I love the sound of the engine.
You and me both! Stay tuned because at some point I'm gonna do an exhaust update video and make it so I can quick change the mufflers. There will be a few clips with no mufflers too. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

I remember back in the day when 38's were considered the ridiculous giant tires and eveyone wanted at least 35's . I had an 84 K5 Blazer with a Skyjacker 6" lift and 35's . Had so much fun in that thing. Wish I still had it. Love your truck 👍🏻🤘🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍻
Haha it's true! The first set of boggers i bought were 38.5s. Nobody had them! Now everyone and there dog has 40s lol. Never sell a Square! Man's best friend. 👌 Thanks for watching brother. Stay tuned!

44" super swampers!!!!
1978 k10 4x4!!!!!
Right on! Nice rig. I would to go wheeling in Texas... thanks for watching 👀 and the comment brother. 👍🏻
Sounds Good , Looks Fun !
Thanks brother, she's a good time!
That needs a Ranger Overdrive.
It mounts between the bell housing and trans.. you need a 3rd over gear
There's no need for an overdrive, it's pretty much perfect for ratio right now. The bigger tires I added last February actually made it a little higher sped than i need but the hp of the Ls and the low sped 1st gear makes up for it.
Nice strong square body you got I have a 76 C/20 350 4spd them trucks is fun to drive
Yes sir! I couldn't agree more. Can't go wrong with a squarebody. Especially a 4spd one. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice I got a 72 k5 1st gen lt1 350 4 speed fun to drive
@@kilacali916 oh nice! Yeah that would be a fun cruiser. Yes sir👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Is the 5.3 stock besides headers?
It's a 6.0 with a cam and 92mm throttle body running on holley terminator. Check out this video. ua-cam.com/video/Es-5QRzBqR0/v-deo.html
