Beautiful. When you complete The Beatles collection, I know of a song that screams out for an Ivor lesson. “Anticipation” by Carly Simon. Lots of Ivor “fiddly bits”. Beautiful acoustic guitar that needs the Ivor touch. Also “You’re So Vain” by Carly, another beautiful song that is right up your alley. Thank you for all you do. You’ve been a godsend.
@@ivorsorefingers Oh really?!? I need to look for it. I bet it’s a great lesson. Your collection is growing into a monster! You should be very proud of this.
Great idea! I can see using the flute solo and adapting to a mandolin. It's a beautiful melody regardless of the instrument. As always-Awesome job! Thank you for all of the time, effort, and soul.
At the very end of the song, after the last Fmaj7 chord, there is another chord, much more dissonant than the other chords. Changes the whole mood. Can you help us figure out what it is? Thanks! :)
Yes, it's quite difficult to hear what that is. I read somewhere that on a piano the left hand is playing a Fmaj7 and the right hand is playing a Gmaj7. On a guitar if you end the song by playing an upstroke on a Gmaj7 (open D, open G, open B, top e 2nd fret) I think it sounds something like it. Ivor
