It looks like I came here a year too late, but I do agree with Kai about the music around the time Bone Thugs-n-Harmony came out. I actively looked for artists that sounded different from the gangsta rap that was all over by that point and not only found this group, but Wu-Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, Redman and others. New fan to the channel 💪🏾 This how you destroy racism and not just listening but understanding the music is very dope!!! Good job kid and shout out to Dad!!!
Glad to be born and raised with music like this being born in the ghetto this type of music was a part of my child hood that me and my parents listen today
I love how we all started tapping our feet and bobbing our heads at the same time a real vibe he guys are amazing beautiful song...one of my favorite songs....
You guys should get to the Bone tracks that they did with Pac and Biggie. The only group to do songs with both! It goes to show what kind of respect they had and still have.
Notorious Thugs is such a good track. Bizzy Bone did this entire verse in a single take (first take too) and it was so good after Biggy heard it he went and rewrote his entire verse because of how good it was.
What a nice aspect to share. How few people share their music let alone their interests with their parents. This is healthy for you and us. Thank you my brothers
Biggie had to switch his flow up after hearing BTNH drop their verses which spoke volumes to how different Bones' sound was. I think I watched an interview where Bizzy said they didnt get to hear Biggie's verse until after his passing. I would love to see this reaction. I love that song.
I love how open your dad is to any type of music. I’m sure others have said this but for someone so young that hasn’t grown up with a lot of these artists & songs you do a damn good job explaining them to your dad. With Bone, they’ve said how Eazy-E saved their lives when he scooped them off the streets of Cleveland (Ohio) if it wasn’t for Eazy-E believing in them they’d be dead or in jail. For me growing up with these rap groups was amazing. I wish you had shown your dad the music video to tha crossroads because it makes me cry every time I see it! Knowing that Eazy-E’s death was so suspect and seeing him in the video just hits an emotional spot.
I love this energy between the two of you!! It is so brilliant and thick with so much love and understanding I can feel it from here....brings tears to my eyes. Tears of joy...yes....so powerful it touches my soul. Thank you
Everytime ur father describes his interpretation of a song it brings tears to my eyes.. He describs his 1st empression of a song exactly how its supposed to come across. He really pays attention to every aspect of the song. Music, verses, lyrics. He catches the little things... I love it
My favorite album of all time. I'm late to the party, I just found your channel and your Dad is really open minded and even though it's rap he understands good music. Your Dad seems like a really good guy too, you both do lol. subbed
Thank you for sharing this iconic song by Bone Thugz N Harmony. You have no idea how big this song was at the time. I've had some people pass away around that time, this song helped me get through the pain. I believe this song was number 1 for many weeks. Tha Crossroads won a Grammy for Best Rap perfromance by a Group. Bone Thugz is one of the greatest hip hop group of all time.
The line “Can somebody, anybody tell me why we die we die. I don’t wanna die…” always makes me tear up because this song dropped not too long before my mom passed away.
@@palehorserider1407 Yeah First of the Month was the first single off this album. But Tha Crossroads wasn't on it initially. My copy of the tape didn't have it.

Glad Dad got to hear this. 1st of Tha Month is their other biggest hit ever in addition to this one and would be a good one for y’all to react to. Bone Thugs were also unique in that they are from Cleveland, OH and became big at a time when you almost had to be from NY or California to make it big in Hip Hop.
This song always makes me tear up. I always think of my best friend that passed away back in 1999. I hope I am able to see him again at the crossroads once it’s my time to leave this physical plane of existence.
They were always a five member group but one of them (Flesh) got in some trouble and went to prison. That same member (Flesh) was also the first to get a solo deal. He signed with Def Jam.
This is my favorite song. My Father passed a year before this song came out when I was 4. He was a BTNH fan and share music with me even at a young age. I admire watching you guys bond through music. I wish i could have experienced this as well. This is so nice to work witness because I love music and u guys give such great refreshing honest perspectives. Im happy to inherit my father’s record collection and enjoy a wide arrange of music just as he did.
I've always been a rock, alt rock, classic rock, all that kinda fan, but this song always gives me chills. it's an artistic masterpiece. one of the most unique vocal style and instrumentation i've heard to this day.

New fan to the channel 💪🏾 This how you destroy racism and not just listening but understanding the music is very dope!!! Good job kid and shout out to Dad!!!
Def my childhood. This song was def on repeat. Well done fellas!
Glad to be born and raised with music like this being born in the ghetto this type of music was a part of my child hood that me and my parents listen today
I love how we all started tapping our feet and bobbing our heads at the same time a real vibe he guys are amazing beautiful song...one of my favorite songs....
I think a good song for you guys would be “Home” by Bone Thugs and Phil Collins. Two totally different artists who blend well together.
You guys should get to the Bone tracks that they did with Pac and Biggie. The only group to do songs with both! It goes to show what kind of respect they had and still have.
Big Facts 💯🎯
add Eazy-E to that as well....bone only to do it with all 3
Pac. Biggie. Big Pun And Easy E
Notorious Thugs is such a good track. Bizzy Bone did this entire verse in a single take (first take too) and it was so good after Biggy heard it he went and rewrote his entire verse because of how good it was.
@@jubei20111 that's actually fack. Lots of people don't know these things
What a nice aspect to share. How few people share their music let alone their interests with their parents. This is healthy for you and us. Thank you my brothers
OMG now you have to do NOTORIOUS THUGZ- BIGGIE featuring BONE THUGZ N HARMONY,,, but you might need to have the lyrics playing while listening
One of BIG’s hardest verses!
One of my favourite songs of all time (kai)
I second this!!!!
YES! I had the same exact thought! & its one of Kai’s favorites! Gotta make that one happen @The Frontroom
😍😍 This is literally my favorite 90's hip hop group! So proud that you explained the premise so well.
E. 1999 Eternal’s original release had 17 tracks which included the song “Crossroad”. “Tha Crossroads” was a reissue bonus track.
It wasn't a bonus track. It actually replaced the original version in the tracklist on the reissue
There are soooooooo many Bone Thugs songs you could sift through. Literally ANYTHING from their first two albums.
I love this energy between the two of you!! It is so brilliant and thick with so much love and understanding I can feel it from here....brings tears to my eyes. Tears of joy...yes....so powerful it touches my soul. Thank you
Thank you so much! Peace and love to you.
They really do have such a unique sound 😌🔥 I have that East 99 Eternal CD in my car right now! 🙌😂
Everytime ur father describes his interpretation of a song it brings tears to my eyes.. He describs his 1st empression of a song exactly how its supposed to come across. He really pays attention to every aspect of the song. Music, verses, lyrics. He catches the little things... I love it
Great vid! This is the magic of Bone Thugs & Harmony, arguably one of the best rap groups of all time.
My favorite album of all time. I'm late to the party, I just found your channel and your Dad is really open minded and even though it's rap he understands good music. Your Dad seems like a really good guy too, you both do lol. subbed
Thank you! - Kai’s dad
On this song:
Bizzy goes first
Lazy goes second
Krazy goes third
Wish goes fourth
“AndI’mGunnaMissEverybody…” is Bizzy Bone
They harmonized so well
Thank you for sharing this iconic song by Bone Thugz N Harmony.

Really liked this reaction!! I’m a huge bone fan and I love seeing people react to the first time they’re hearing them.
So glad I found this reaction video! I listen to this song at least once a day. Makes me thing of my daddy, brings tears to my eyes every time.
First album I ever bought when I was ten years old babe . Excellent album
Was first of the month on that album ? That’s the first single I ever bought
@@palehorserider1407 yes sir wake up wake up it’s the first of the month so get up get up lol
@@palehorserider1407 Yeah First of the Month was the first single off this album. But Tha Crossroads wasn't on it initially. My copy of the tape didn't have it.
@@palehorserider1407 iconic song
We need a video reaction
Bone are my fav artists of all time! Krayzie being my fav.. 🐐 period. They made me fall in love with music esp Tha Crossroads! I was 9 years old I'm now 35 and bigger fan then ever.
Pops have me laughing so hard when he does little bits and pieces of the song 😂🤣😂 Sooo Kool...
Biggest Hip Hop group ever for reasons like this. Touched billions of people globally.
That is so cool that you have your dad’s record collection, a precious window into his world! Sending good vibes your way. (Kai’s dad)
I was obsessed with bone thugs when I was a teenager!! Do thug luv next please!
I've always been a rock, alt rock, classic rock, all that kinda fan, but this song always gives me chills. it's an artistic masterpiece. one of the most unique vocal style and instrumentation i've heard to this day.
Nooo not just this song!! All bone thugs. This is just the one we thought y’all would like the most lmfao. All their shit is 🔥🔥🔥
“Sophisticated but not complicated” is the best description possible! Good job, dad!!! ❤️
Layzie is my fav. The second rapper that was singing. Bone Thugs N Harmony is one of the groups I grew up on. LEGENDS IN HIP HOP! DISCOVERED BY THE ONE AND ONLY EAZY-E (HE DIED ON MY 5TH BIRTHDAY, ILL NEVER FORGET THAT) 🙏🏿🙏🏿🕊️🕊️💙💙
I wished Pops would have seen the video. The video did a great job giving visuals to the song.
Hope to see more Bone Thugs on this channel!
Just found this channel. Love your analysis. You guys are a testament that all music is truly universal. I love it!!
Welcome aboard! More good stuff comin!
