The girl singing on the song was just walking by when they were on a smoke break and she asked what they were doing and they told her they were in the studio making this song and she said she knows how to sing. They were singing the songs themselves on the original version. They brought her to Eazy-E and he told her get in there and the rest is history.
That makes since. I met Bone in the Valley in 2012 or so. We were on a smoke break in the alley outside a studio and they were chilling with us on the humble.
That story is not entirely true. Bone did not bring her to Eazy, she had already been in contact with Eazy E through a mutual friend before she meet bone and she was already working in the music industry having provided background vocals for the 1991 song Knocking Boots by rapper Candyman. After working with Bone she began working with Eazy E on her debut album which was supported to be released in March of 1995 but due to Eazy E's death that same month her album was never completed. She did however release a single on Ruthless Records called Free in 94. She also did the hook for the song The Points (DJ U-Neek's Points) from the Panther Soundtrack. Another fun Fact that most Bone fans don't know is that Shatasha is the niece of singer Deniece Williams, and she is also the sister of Niko Williams of the group Tré from Mo Thugs.
Bone Thugs are the only group to record songs with Eazy E, 2 Pac, and Notorious B.I.G while they were still alive. You could try looking up "For the Love of $," "Thug Luv," or "Notorious Thugs" for your next BTNH reactions. Also, all of them, except Wish Bone, have massive collections of their individual work, which they still produce.
@@TheJofrica I mean they basically copied it from Memphis Rappers at the time who were already somewhat popular. I love Bone Thugs but give credit where its due
@@DonDadda45 Didn’t they have beef with Crucial Conflict and Twista about who started that style? Also, I think Freestyle Fellowship out of LA could’ve been first
The girl singing the hook "Tasha" was just walking by the studio and told them she could sing.. prior to seeing her the hook was bizzy and krayzie doing her part. imagine how diff of a song it would have been
Bone Thugs are timeless. You won't find anything like them. They are truly unique artists and I really hope you'll continue this journey with Bone Thugs. This song was kind of like their "introduction" and as you continue you will see how their style evolves with their harmonies. I'm going to suggest again not only my favorite Bone Thugs song but my favorite song of all time, period. "Days of Our Livez".
If your Dad loves Bone's harmonies and sophisticated vocal layering in their songs you MUST play him "Days of Our Livez" or "Buddah Lovaz" their style is BEYOND the Hip Hop genre! Great reactions keep it up!
Nothing like hip hop, rap, r&b, from the 90's. Nothin you hear me!!!! I'm 47 and grew up on all of the music ur dad is just now getting to listen to and enjoy. It all still all holds up and is truley timeless!!!! I love ur videos, and everytime i watch i remeber the 1st time i heard that song and how it made me feel.... Love it!!
They are the most diverse group in hip hop. No song sounds the same and you'll see how they mature and evolve over the years. They have been making music for nearly 30 years non stop and they've haven't lost their touch. Thanks for the reactions 👍
Bone’s rhyme patterns are some of the greatest poetry to ever be copy-written (ex. this and 1st of the month). The way we study great poet’s and jazz musicians from the start of their respective genre’s is the way rap artists and songs will be studied 100 years from now.
@@alfreddaniel1994 It’s a shame it’s not respected that way today because it’s considered “ghetto” music. But, I remember them making us read and study Japanese poetry Haiku rhyme patterns in elementary school. Compared to great MC rhyme patterns that stuff sound like nursery rhymes.
You guys should definitely check out 'notorious thugs' next. Its a song they collaborated with Biggie on and it's one of the most iconic hip hop beats of all time! Enjoyed your reaction as always.
I believe they were put on by Eazy-E, hence the west coast influence heard in the beat. This one hits close to the heart as it’s one of the most influential records in my hip hop journey. It Al started at a swap meet in Hanford Ca when I was 6 yea old. You guys are awesome. Keep up the great work and thank you 🙏
I love the awe and excitement on pops face. Genuine. I'm glad you guys have each other to share music with. True music is meant to evoke emotion. Thank you for keeping an open mind
I love how their heads are moving just like mine cranking to this classic as I sing all the lyrics!!! So new to them so old and a part of my coming up repertoire and still hits the same!!!!
This is the beginning stages of their artistry the Harmony elements is slightly noticeable in their verses but the flo change ups is what stands out in this one especially between Krayzie & Bizzy Bone
I'm from France and I remember in 95, a friend's girlfriend had brought him from NY the single cassette of "For tha love of money" and there was this title "Thuggish ruggish Bone" in the tracklist, everything was new, the flow, the sound, this literally blew my mind... Thanks for what you do.
Fun fact: Bone is the most sold hiphop group EVER in the history of hiphop still to this day. They werent that huge in USA, but they were absolutely ENORMOUS around the world instead.. this is also why you got so surprised why people suddenly started swarming you for more Bone. Edit: What I mean being HUGE around the world means.. They were absolutely HUGE. even random teenage girls drooled after them, like they were some sort of new Backstreet Boys to them.. That level of HUGE. Now thats a whole another level compared to being huge in just the world of hiphop.
@@ollyolyoxenfree Bone has sold around 50 million records worldwide. In fact that statistic is only from 2013 too. in USA and UK alone they sold over 14 million.. There's not a single hiphop GROUP that has sold more records WORLDWIDE. than them. Bone was absolutely huge outside USA. You can look all this up from reputable sources, and even videos of them talking about this as well. USA is not their biggest market, or fanbase, and never was. Hiphop has been a worldwide culture for decades already. I am not an american neither, and I've been a hiphop head since early 90s. Also this is the reason why people consider Bone of being so legendary.
Refreshing reaction! Didn't expect it. Here's a bit of information to help inform you guys: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is a Grammy and American Music Award winning group that consists of 5 members (Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Flesh Bone). They're from Cleveland, but relocated to Los Angeles as teenagers in 1993, and several months later, signed to Ruthless Records, the legendary Hip Hop record label of legendary West Coast rapper and CEO, Eazy-E (of NWA). BTNH had West Coast production (Kai noticed this) because the producers they exclusively worked with were all Los Angeles/California based, and part of the same label as Bone. Eazy, their mentor, unexpectedly passed away in 1995 from Aids. "Tha Crossroads" (actually a remix of their 1995 record, simply titled, "Crossroads") was their Grammy Award winning record released in 1996, and dedicated to him, along with several loved ones who had also recently passed.. (not sure if this was mentioned to you guys during "Tha Crossroads" reaction). Tupac stated that the original Crossroads got him through tough times during prison. He and Bone later bonded soon after his release. Bone, for the most part, lived their early years in Cleveland, and spent their adulthood in Los Angeles. They're often listed as "West Coast Rap", just as much as "Midwest Rap", by fan location, in large part due to their affiliation and production sound. The group is considered by many to be the greatest, or one of the greatest, and most influential Hip-Hop groups of all time (as well as one of the highest selling). Their first major label release was a breakout EP in 1994, titled "Creepin On Ah Come Up". In 1995, their most critically acclaimed and successful album, E.1999 Eternal, was released. In 1997, The Art of War..(which was also highly successful). Several members also had successful solo careers in the 90s and 2000, apart from the group. Bone Thugs are credited as being the most recognizable and significant pioneers of fast rap (considered to be the masters of it, along with Twista), as well as harmonizing, melodic/rappers singing in songs. Back then, it wasn't exactly "cool" to do, until they popularized it. It made Hip Hop critics become less critical of the unconventional, less traditional sound in our culture, and opened the doors for exploration in the following years. Innovation. Prior to the 2000s, you had to have your own style and sound to be taken seriously within the culture, which is why the group is considered to be so integral in how music has been shaped over time. In the mid 90s, they were widely known for their dark, violent imagery. It began to shift a bit during the late 90s, well into the 2000s. Understandably, the members evolved and matured throughout the years, as a result, their sound became much lighter and not as gritty as their golden age sound of the 90s. That's not to say great records weren't made by them in the 2000s, but it was definitely a different era for the group. To sum it up, Bone's influence has played a significant part in the sound of music today. The group not only helped shift and innovate the sound of Rap, but also R&B. Their image and musical influence inspired so many artists, including Drake, Kendrick, Kid Cudi, ASAP Mob, J Cole, Wiz Khalifa (Wiz even has the members of Bone tattooed on him). The intricacies and complexities of their style is one of a kind. Many artists today now "rap fast", but Bone was much more than that, which is why the group often stood out above the rest. Side note: Flesh Bone (aka Flesh-N-Bone) may not be on every song or artwork due to several legal issues, coupled with hesitation by their record label, which kept him off several records during the 90s, as well as the 2000s.
@@tete-85 yeah, I did. Every word is from me, ha. Occasionally, I'll make an effort to educate or inform reactors who take an interest in the culture of Hip Hop. It's the least I can do. I wanted to write it for their first Bone video, but didn't have the time. (I notice that historic value is often lacking in the Reaction community, which can make their experience less impactful.) Also, I've been a Bone fan since their debut, and figured it would be helpful to the channel (or any) to give a bit of insight and backstory to their career. I feel like the guys will benefit from some direction/context, and it would make for overall better content..(that's if they even see my comment 😂)
@@ThaMobstarr 🤣hilarious, haha. I just replied to the other comment a minute ago and gave an explanation But yeah, I wrote it all. I revised a few parts from something I wrote prior, but everything written is from me.
Notorious Thugs with Biggie and Thug Luv with 2pac next. You are now ready. It ties in nicely with your previous Biggie and 2pac reactions and Bone Thugs really shine on those songs.
This is gonna be good. This song is the song that introduced Hip Hop and the world to Bone Thugs n Harmony. This takes me back to the summer of ‘94 when I was 16. You heard this song banging out the trunks of so many cars in my city. This whole album actually. Bone’s first two albums are their best IMO. Certified classics that can be played straight through with no skips. Some songs might have more playability but nothing gets skipped on those two albums.
The song was produced by DJ U-Neek who is from Los Angeles which is why the beat is G-Funk-esque. BTNH are from Cleveland. As others have pointed out BTNH are the last group to record songs with the 3 hiphop legends before they died. Eazy-E in a song titled "For The Love of $", Tupac in a song titled "Thug Luv", and Notorious BIG in a song titled "Notorious Thugz". Also, the person rapping the last verse is named Bizzy Bone, hands down the best one in the group as far as lyrical skill and speed rapping in the group goes, which is not to say any of the rest are bad at all. I think your dad would really enjoy learning a bit of Bizzy Bone's story and background growing up and what he's been through and you can find that by searching "Bizzy Bone on America's Most Wanted". Also, I think I mentioned this on the last video, but some other great BTNH songs for you and your dad to listen to are "Dayz Of Our Lives" which was on the soundtrack for the film Set It Off starring another rap artist y'all have reacted to, Queen Latifah (great film btw and I highly recommend giving it a watch). Dayz Of Our Lives has that vocal harmony that your dad was talking about from Tha Crossroads. "1st Of Tha Month" is a classic, but I do believe there are a lot better BTNH songs out there. If you don't mind their religious topics in their rap then I highly recommend the song "Order My Steps" which was off of their Strength & Loyalty album. Also, the song "I Tried" featuring Akon which they won a Grammy award for. The song "Take Me Home" featuring the always awesome Phil Collins (yes, the same Phil Collins who sings In The Air Tonight lol). There's also the song "Flowmotion" which is a song about how at the beginning of their rap career no one really wanted to work with them and they got passed up a lot, but after they got fame and won their first Grammy those same people are begging to work with them. There's also the different members solo albums which are all really good as well, but one I think you and your dad would really like and appreciate is Bizzy Bone, Bizzy has such a unique story and has struggled all of his life ever since childhood. A couple of Bizzy Bone songs I recommend are "Thugz Cry" (his most popular and known song) and the song "Nobody Can Stop Me" which is a song about growing up in an abusive home and probably the most heartfelt song out of anyone in the entire group. I could literally go on and on, but I think I'll stop here and leave y'all with that and a like. I really appreciate your guy's reaction.
I LOVE that you reacted to this. I remember hearing this bumping in front of my High-school in Indiana from a Cutlass in 1994. I've gotta say....no other group was ever or ever is quite like Bone. They created their own, lane at the time.
Love the reaction! The intro was Reverend Calvin Butts who was known for being on a crusade against gangsta rap in the early 90s. I was a teenager then and I couldn't stand him or C. Delores Tucker 😂
I grew up on BTNH(my highschool years). I remember being at the music store as soon as they opened to buy all of their new cds. I still love them to this day.

On the Bone Thugs topic, I forgot to mention/recommend the song “Notorious Thugs” by Biggie Ft. Bone Thugs. It’s a classic that surely y’all would appreciate. I am confident us fans would enjoy the review. 🙏
You ever thought about doing a reaction to The Message by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five? I think it's probably the first hardcore hip hop song ever released, way back in 1982, but it has aged like a bottle of Dom. Still an amazing track 40 years later. Last verse of the song really hits hard.
Hip hop was speeding in one direction and when Bone Thugs dropped this song it Changed the whole landscape of Music try doing shoot ‘em up and Days of our Lives next!! Also Home ft Phil Collins, And Wind Blow which samples Fleetwood Mac’s song “ The chain”
I still remember the first time I heard this, watching Rap City on BET after school. Was so blown away by it that I didn't eat lunch for two weeks at school so I could squirrel away my lunch money to finally go buy the tape. One of the hardest songs to come out in the 90s and pretty soon you'd hear every car in the neighborhood bumping this song and album. So thankful to Eazy E for finding these guys and putting them on.
Believe it or not I am a 57 year old woman with a 35 year old son and 30 year old daughter, 6 grandbabies and I love Bone thugs and Harmony, sounds weird right? I was 30 when this came out. I still love alot of what my kids grew up listening to.
Homie I've been listening to Bone Thugs my whole life and they have so many songs you and your dad haven't even tapped into yet keep looking into there songs they have so many and you will be impressed
They took a 1 way bus trip to la from Cleveland. Got ruthless records number and didn't stop calling until eazy called them back. The rest is history. Such a complex group full of complex members with a style, and slang of their own. Got in dispute with eazys widow and broke off on their own. They get distribution deals, but they control themselves today.
I was 14 when that album dropped and I still remember hearing this song for the first time. My mind was blown!! Lol Music was LIFE and life was good. ❤
Fun fact: Bone Thugs are the only group to work with 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E, and Big Pun. That should tell you something about their status.
Early nineties was dominated by west coast influence and remember Eazy E brought these guys out...just a lil insight.. another album that will show u the influence of the time period is snoops Doggystyle...one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time and definitely of that era
I would love a deeper dive into their discography, my favourite song of theirs is 'Handle the Vibe'. The beat, the flows, the harmony, just the whole vibe. It's a 10/10 song.
love everything you guys put out! your truly a unique and wonderful reaction channel definitely my favorite! I would love to hear you guys react to some Mos Def! he is my favorite rapper of all time and I know your dad would love his style!
backstory…..They had recorded the song and was at the studio outside smokin when a lady came up to them and said she could sing they put her on the spot right there outside the studio and she blew their minds away with her voice and instantly brought her in the studio to record this hook and vocals for this song
An testament of Bone Thugs & how their music stands the test of time. One of the best groups to ever do it and not just in Rap. Eazy-E had a tremendous influence on them and really is exuded with their earlier work. If you’re a fan of this song heavily consider reviewing “1st of tha Month”, “Notorious Thugs”, “Thug Luv”, “East 1999” and fan favorite “Wind Blow” Loving the content guys and breakdown y’all give on these tracks! Refreshing to see perspective talked with open mind.
I so remember when this came out. in my 86 chevy Blzer 15"woofers and and all. This song was so crazy and Original. It was such a stand out album and lyrics. To have that feeling was amazing.
Great video reaction guys... Please keep the Bone thugs reactions in rotation... Bone thugs-n-harmony has a a massive fan base even to this day...and we love Bone thugs reactions... Getting into their catalog is an experience unlike any other.
You could make a whole other series just doing bone thugs! With how different all their songs vibes are, I'd reccomend handle the vibe, foe the love of money, it's all mo thug, or flow motion if you want to hear where they started
I'm so surprised you never heard it, Kai. I was sure you would recognize as soon as you heard it. Wow, that was a real cool and genuine reaction. Loved it. It's still my favorite Bone song.
YES! I got so exited when I saw this pop up. Bone Thugs are my favorite (besides Tupac). I’ve been a fan of theirs literally since this song came out. So 30 years. My brother and I manifested hanging with them. We started out going to their shows and getting back stage or invited to hotel room. We have hung out with them in different parts of PA and OH, Cali. We ended up flying out to LA twice (from Pittsburgh) to be part of a “Think Tank” they did it their UNI 5: The Worlds Enemy album when Flesh got out of jail after 10 years being in. We have chilled with a couple members on their block they grew up (E99/St Clair). We’ve been to over 25 shows. There is absolutely no one like them and never will be. Not only is their music amazing but they’re the most humble down to earth people. And 97% of their affiliates/artists are too. We played Crossroads at 2 funerals. I held up my buddy’s obituary at a show (we were front row) and Wish Bone saw it, grab it, and held it up while they performed Crossroads. This was back when we used disposable cameras and I ran outta film :/. BUT the 2nd time we did it.. Layzie held it up. I got a pic. When I developed the pictures it shows what looks to be a spirit in front of Layzie. I wish I could post the pic on here for you to see. It’s wild. we were smoking cigs/bud the whole time and NO other picture had this in it. I blew the pic up and had all 5 sign it. I gave Layzie a copy of it. He said “man that gave me chills.” We’ve had so many amazing times and memories with these guys. Their fan base is a big loyal group. I literally stay in touch with probably 30 of their most loyal fans we met at the Think Tanks. Their music has helped so many lives. They created their own path in the music industry. As you guys noticed there, no one else sounds like them. There have been many who have tried. They really created something that many many artists have tried to duplicat in some way or another. But never came close to being as original. You can hear it on some of the radio even today. They’re the only artists to work with Pac, Big, Easy E, Big Pun. Not to mention countless other amazing artists. After the 2 reaction videos I have NO doubt you and your dad will love the rest of their music. PLEASE do more BTNH in the future. I could name a ton of songs (already did in your Crossroad video lol) but please listen to 1. Dayz Of Our Lives. 2. Home ft Phil Collins (not normally one I recommend for new Bone listeners but I had to choose this one for your dad) 3. Change The World. 4. 1st of Tha Month. 5. If I could teach the world. 6. Notorious Thugs ft Biggie. 7. Thug Luv ft Tupac 8. Foe The Love of Money ft Easy E. 9. Family Tree 10. Ghetto Cowboy These guys bring the passion like Tupac, Big, Nas, Eminem etc.. Better yet; just at least listen to their first 3 albums. One thing people think/don’t realize is that they STILL to this day make great music. A lot of your average music listens or even hip hop people think they were just a 90s group. But they’ve literally been making great music every year for 30+ years! They have really good solo music too. are some top ones I like. Even if you don’t do a reaction on them, they are worth checking out. Krayzie Bone - Life A Lesson to Learn. Bizzy Bone Before I go Layzie Bone- Listen Flesh N Bone -Dedication Sorry for such a long post. As you can tell I am very passionate about this lol. Thanks so much for doing these. You guys are really amazing. It’s so fun to watch your dad hear this stuff for the first time and see his appreciation for it. Even tho it’s not his genre of music per say. He’s really intelligent and caring. As are you. Which is why you guy’s are bowing up fast! The world needs this. Keep it up guys! I am exited to follow your journey.
Kai, you got it right, this was definitely influenced by the West Coast sound of the time which was mostly someone playing synths on a keyboard and/or beat machine. Even when melodies from classic songs were incorporated, many times they were played by the producer themselves. Y’all’s reaction to how different they were and are is about how this hit the scene at the time. Bone Thugs were almost always an instant hit with those who heard them.
Love these neat little infos about these rap songs. It feels like going through a museum and reliving that time, when I read you people's reactions. Much love from a guy from Germany!
I love the fact you 2 are vibing to Bone Thugs -n-n Harmony!! Their producer on this was DJ UNeek. From the west coast, hence the sound!! Please react to "Rebirth" from their "Uni5" album, it has all 5 members on it!
The West Coast vibes comes from them being on Ruthless Records which was founded by Easy-E and home to NWA, MC Ren, D.O.C. and also the producer of the track DJ U-Neek (also an LA artist)
I could watch you guys listen to anything, I just love these videos. Still holding out for anything a tribe called quest and souls of mischief - 93 til infinity! Would give anything to hear that song for the first time again. Keep doing your thing!

That aint crazy, thats Bone babby.
If your Dad loves Bone's harmonies and sophisticated vocal layering in their songs you MUST play him "Days of Our Livez" or "Buddah Lovaz" their style is BEYOND the Hip Hop genre! Great reactions keep it up!
Everyday Thang!!
Evil paradise
He will love Dayz of our lives. Especially the beat. I can sense it
I fucking LOVE your dad vibing with the song immediately 👌🏾
Love dad’s immediate reaction!
Love it!!

Diggin deep with this one! 👌🏾 this song, for me, evokes childhood memories; Early and mid 90's in LA 🔥🔥
They are the most diverse group in hip hop. No song sounds the same and you'll see how they mature and evolve over the years. They have been making music for nearly 30 years non stop and they've haven't lost their touch. Thanks for the reactions 👍
Dad said it all….. He aint never heard something like that before…
All love to both of you! ✌️
When this was released, minds were blown. Such a different delivery with a street sound. The started as a horror core rap group.
Bone’s rhyme patterns are some of the greatest poetry to ever be copy-written (ex. this and 1st of the month). The way we study great poet’s and jazz musicians from the start of their respective genre’s is the way rap artists and songs will be studied 100 years from now.
I can't help but picture someone in a hundred years from now hearing Bone thugs for the first time and their minds being blown.
Enjoyed your reaction as always.
one of my favorites
Excellent song!! 🔥
Agreed

I believe they were put on by Eazy-E, hence the west coast influence heard in the beat. This one hits close to the heart as it’s one of the most influential records in my hip hop journey. It Al started at a swap meet in Hanford Ca when I was 6 yea old. You guys are awesome. Keep up the great work and thank you 🙏
I was born in Hanford been living in WI since 93… I always wonder what Hanford is like.

I love watching you and your dad communicate it is very inspiring for me to be better talking with my 15 year old
You have to hear Bone and Biggie - Notorious Thugs. Its awesome!!
Please do Souls of Mischief 93 till infinity. Your dad would love it. Plus the track is deffo timeless 👌
!!!!
One of my all time favorites! 🔥
Hip-hop at its finest
Dad singing the chorus is such a vibe. He's so awesome.
That is really surprising
fake news
@@ollyolyoxenfree whats fake news? Bone Thugs has sold 50+ million
Also Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is the only group to work with 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E, and Big Pun while they were still alive
Kai’s face at 2:50 was my exact reaction first time hearing this gem, good stuff as always guys !
Did you write this??
@@tete-85 Damn looks like it, I couldn't find a copy of the text on google lol.
@@tete-85 yeah, I did. Every word is from me, ha. Occasionally, I'll make an effort to educate or inform reactors who take an interest in the culture of Hip Hop. It's the least I can do. I wanted to write it for their first Bone video, but didn't have the time.
(I notice that historic value is often lacking in the Reaction community, which can make their experience less impactful.)
Also, I've been a Bone fan since their debut, and figured it would be helpful to the channel (or any) to give a bit of insight and backstory to their career. I feel like the guys will benefit from some direction/context, and it would make for overall better content..(that's if they even see my comment 😂)

Notorious Thugs with Biggie and Thug Luv with 2pac next. You are now ready. It ties in nicely with your previous Biggie and 2pac reactions and Bone Thugs really shine on those songs.
This is the 1st song ive ever heard from bone and was a instant fan. Love BONE.

FACTS!
I loved your Dad’s immediate joy. This band + video make this Cleveland girl proud!
Lyrics
We're not against rap
We're not against rappers
But we are against those thugs (Thugs thugs)
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
Your feelin' the strength of the rump
Step up, hear the funk of the jump that the thugstas feel
Just be thuggin', straight buzzin', lovin' yo peoples 'cause we so real
Chill, better bring yo weapon, when steppin'
Bring on that ammunition, trip and don't slip
Not to mention, never knew no competition
But I gotta get mine, so scream out, mo, and let me hear ya holla
Not about that mighty dollar
Roll with the bone, mo' thugs will follow
Chain gang, remains the same
Flamin' my dank and drinkin' brew
Thinkin' about hangin', clockin' my bank, and thuggin' trues, foo's
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
Get ready for the bone and the mo thug, bustas
You know me as a hustla
Try to creep and get deep, make me succeed, peep, gotta put them under
Straight jackets, gotta make that money, man
It's still the same now, bailin' in my black trench vest
You gotta be down to bang bang
Come and get this teachin', ya soldiers how thugstas must slack
Me drinkin' me brew till me skull crack, when we on our way back
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
Now follow me now, roll, stroll off deep in the land
Well, creep if you can, take another swig to the brain (Whoa)
Loc'in, steady chokin' off that potent smoke
And runnin' from the po-po now
Gotta get up with my thugstas, right turn to the double glock
Pull to the curb, smoke with my hustlas
Puff, puff puff to the brain shot
Love P.O.D.Ed and tweeded, gotta get another case for my trunk
Old English, really don't need it, but in case my trues want to get drunk
They pump bone, so leave 'em alone
You don't want to get shut down
Thug runnin' the nine-quad
And you better believe they be wantin' this thug style
So what now? See the bone thug claim
Thug never gonna change, so flame up
Sit back and just smoke the same cut
Leatherface on the creep, I came up
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
It's the Thuggish Ruggish Bone
Gotta give it on up to the glock glock
Pop pop, better drop when them buckshot blow
The bone in me never no ho, so no creepin' up outta the zip-lock
So sin, sip gin, and lil' mo heart run up, nut up
And flipped in, than slipped the clip in, mistakin' the bloody victims
Ever if ya test nuts, to the chest and put em to rest
And, but I won't test bucks, put a hole up into me vest
And gotta get through my soul
But they won't budge, mud, drug me victim
The blood in me runnin' my mental, the thug in me, stuck in me
Keepin' it simple, the bone in me runnin' with thugs so
To the temple, buck when you duck to the thuggish ruggish T's
St. Claire P's to appeal to the G's
And a buck to all my enemies

On the Bone Thugs topic, I forgot to mention/recommend the song “Notorious Thugs” by Biggie Ft. Bone Thugs. It’s a classic that surely y’all would appreciate. I am confident us fans would enjoy the review. 🙏
I'm grateful my parents were in their early 20s in the 90s. I grew up with this music always playing in the background.
This used to be on the radio nationally. Was a trip back in 93 to hear this on the radio during the day time along with other r&b and rap songs.
Keep it coming! So many songs to choice from. Thug Luv, Notorious Thugs, First of the Month, Days of our Livez, Look into my Eyes...
I had to convince my parents they weren’t devil worshippers 😂 😂 far fine it lol
Believe it or not I am a 57 year old woman with a 35 year old son and 30 year old daughter, 6 grandbabies and I love Bone thugs and Harmony, sounds weird right? I was 30 when this came out. I still love alot of what my kids grew up listening to.
I'm 52. This is still my sh**!
This song has always been Fire!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fun fact: Bone Thugs are the only group to work with 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E, and Big Pun. That should tell you something about their status.
Your pops reaction’s are priceless . Keep up the good work
Brings me back to my childhood. I remember when and where I first heard this song. I would have been 7 years old then
Ha! I was about 12 at an outdoor arts festival and I heard that synth from far away and found my way to the speakers lol.
Early nineties was dominated by west coast influence and remember Eazy E brought these guys out...just a lil insight.. another album that will show u the influence of the time period is snoops Doggystyle...one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time and definitely of that era

Better 29 years later than never! Thanks for watching, Tiff. - Kai’s dad
I would love a deeper dive into their discography, my favourite song of theirs is 'Handle the Vibe'.
The beat, the flows, the harmony, just the whole vibe. It's a 10/10 song.
The fact that most of the music he is schooling pops to is older than him reassures me i grew up when hip-hop was at it's peak!!!

backstory…..They had recorded the song and was at the studio outside smokin when a lady came up to them and said she could sing they put her on the spot right there outside the studio and she blew their minds away with her voice and instantly brought her in the studio to record this hook and vocals for this song
An testament of Bone Thugs & how their music stands the test of time. One of the best groups to ever do it and not just in Rap. Eazy-E had a tremendous influence on them and really is exuded with their earlier work.

They were smoking outside the studio and she was walking past 🤣
Ghetto Cowboy
These guys bring the passion like Tupac, Big, Nas, Eminem etc..
Bizzy Bone Before I go Layzie Bone- Listen Flesh N Bone -Dedication
Sorry for such a long post.
Gotta do "Days of our Lives" by Bone Thugs and Harmony
Was waiting for this one! Yes!
