Just a note. Don't use "days" as a measure of how long fuel lasts because we have no clue how much you've driven... use "miles". It's much more accurate and let's the viewer know specifics
Very good content, I was looking for video like this for time as I'm looking to upgrade to the same car in the future. Thank you bro
Thanks bro, appreciate it, stay subscribed as should have some new stuff coming out also!
Many thanks for the info Bro 👌🏽👊🏽
Loving the content!
Appreciate it my guy
Sick video Dean... loved it. Is the backing track shippuden?!
I enjoyed this. Made me smile n laugh. Subbed. I have the money for one [toyota GR Yaris atm} but I’m worried about the costs tbh
I think go for it! I don’t regret it at all.
👏🏼 informative video man! 👌🏼
Thanks bro
Learn to do your own maintenance and no one would have a problem of maintaining a car. A few tools with a scanner and common knowledge goes a long way.
That’s actually my aim one day. But for now, Mercedes’ Benz can do my services.
Where to learn, how to learn
@TwisT You're already on a site with tons of help. Read your owners manual get familiar with your vehicle follow the mainten schedule. Purchase a service manual or a site like Alldata provides tons of information about maintenance and repair.
It’s genuinely saved me many thousands over the past 13 years. But you also need to know your limits too…
Easy to say hard to do. These new vehicles become harder and harder to work on. I get a basic oil change most should strive to learn to do in their own vehicle(s). Checking fluids, keeping tires inflated properly for your scenario. Maybe replacing certain mechanical components. And watching how you drive plays a role too you’re reckless and hit potholes run over shit, things will break faster. But to fix bugs electrical issues, sensors put in tough places to swap out, faulty transmission, motor or suspension issues. Are left more for ppl with the proper experience and tools. Not everyone can be hardcore DIY.
“It is what it is “ haha that’s way to live my boy
Good video
Good content man , appreciate the feedback. Thinking about getting one 💚

Great video 💯
My guy
How much does this cost now in June 2022 and price of £2 per litre
Very good content as usual, I'd like to get the Old C63 before alternative fuelling takes over - I can imagine the maintenance would be double that of a c43 ?
Appreciate it bro…I don’t think it’d be double but could definitely expect it to be more.
depends on which c63, the 6.2 is quite bad on fuel but the 4.0 is not as bad, could probably get 25mpg and up if you are sensible. Also bearing in mind the c43 is all wheel drive whereas both c63's are rear, which is usually a bit less wear on the front wheels and a bit more on the rear, also cos the engine is powering two wheels instead of 4 you can get a bit better fuel efficiency than 4wd, so probably 1.2x as much in terms of fuel and maintenance
@@thecdymavrick2.060 thank you, this info makes a lot of sense
Good video bro, might be better if you lower the volume of the music if you’re talking, just my opinion bro keep it up
Thanks for the tip
Os he talking about when the warranty goes out, don’t they have different warranty packages to cover Almost everything on the car?
I couldn’t find one that covers everything from Mercedes once the original ran out. Maybe I looked in the wrong place though 🤷🏾♂️
I’m seeing so many people in the comments “ooo if you drive the car sensibly”… bro you’re buying a 3+Litre mini sports car for however much money and you want to drive slow 😂😂😂 go buy a Mini. How daft, let me pay 30-40k for a sports sedan and drive it like a 15-20k hatchback, not saying be a hooligan but come on people you buy a car like this for the fun it brings not to sit watching the MPG and driving soft to get its max 😂😂
You guys will buy a Ferrari and talk about “oooo I must get 15mpg I won’t press the throttle”
Asides from that thanks for the video! Great breakdown and content I shall subscribe.
Hahah seen this so late but this is the comment of the year 😂😂😂.
Please stay subbed I need more comments like this! Also going to have some lit new content coming out.
abit off topic but second hand car prices are insane, along with petrol prices and everything else these days. I really want the a45s amg, but do you think it may be better in the long term to get like a civic type r, save the difference and just see what happens with the cost of these amgs?
The price bubble appears to be bursting. People cant afford these types of luxury cars right now, so the demand has dropped
Agreed - it’s burst!
How many miles does the full tank give u?
Was deliberating about getting an S205 to replace my S204 C220D estate but with the sums you've put up, it's made me think twice. It's a nice fast estate and I guess the running prices are reasonable for the performance, but it did get me thinking "When am I really going to get the opportunity to open its taps when the roads around the South West and Wales are littered with old sunday drivers" - Always at a conundrum because I can easily ride either of my 1000cc motorbikes if I wanted a speed fix.
Did you think your performance on your A class was sufficient? I know full well that nothing this side of a pure sports car will be as engaging as an R1 on the roads.
Great impartial vid BTW
Makes perfect sense, however I’ll think you find you can have a lot more fun in the car that you may think, especially in Wales! I’ve been wanting to go there.
For the UK roads, yes the A220d was more than sufficient however lacked rawness and sound which is important for me in a car. But also the A Class was ALOT cheaper to maintain, so I guess it’s just an opportunity cost 🤷🏾♂️
@@DeanMDavis I'll just need to find one in an estate trim locally and try it out. I've always been sold on the Mercedes reliability, and there's something perverse about having more than 300bhp. Who would have thought that 200bhp and 450NM from a remapped 2.1 TD would be insufficent.
Cheers for your insight though!
@@Titot182 haha yeah being above 300 bhp and sub 5 seconds 0-60 really makes a difference! I think you’ll love it
@@DeanMDavis Took the fully laden estate around Snowdonia last weekend and felt that it would be a bit more fun with a smidge more power. I seem to forget that when I go for overtakes, I'm not on my motorbike, and I'm carrying an additional 350kg!
I was going to buy this last year, but i opted for the M240i instead. I have to say, i am glad i did. The C43 is quality, but i prefer the drive of the M240i.
that’s way smaller
@@outsideboy23 smaller how?
@@xmarksthespot1826 length width 😂
@@outsideboy23 lol, tbf I was talking about performance and drive. Not the dimensions lol. I get u tho
I couldn't live with those 80s interior and seats ..the steering seats are awful ..240i has only that tuner friendly engine but absolutely nothing else..C43 interior is like 100 levels up
What’s that instrumental at the beginning ?
Great video
🤎🤎🤎
yo what music is this G i love the car btw
10:42 Love it 😂😂😂
🤣
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Is that the standard exhaust mate? Sounds good!
Yeah standard, it’s way better sounding than the facelift.
Just got mine. Don’t regret it lol
Have you modded it? Like downpipes intakes tune?
@@tylaw8343 update after a few months, added 2 turbosmart Bov one for each turbo, mst cold air intake, genuine Carbon fiber front lip, diffuser, spoiler, side skirts from RW carbon. Just bought a Set of HRE FF11 19 inch in tarmac, and painted the calipers yellow. AS for tune stage 1 amr
Would it be reasonable to say it would be around £60 a week for me driving one of these 3 days (ish) per week?
I definitely wouldn’t slam it around, but for sure would have a few bursts of spirited driving.
Just want to get a rough idea for fuel costs, I’m in a A250 AMG at the moment which is about £35 a week in fuel on my average, to fill it’s around £60.
I’ve got a C43 and get around 25mpg
I found one on the market for less than 28k but mileage in the 90s worth the cop?
90k is high mannn but it is a reliable car
How's it as a daily? I currently get 13mpg on my mustang gt so I need a car with 16+mpg
I drive a 2016 c450 and I get about +27 mpg
Woooow that’s mental! You can defo get 16mpg with this
How old are you? I hope to get a 2017 in 4 years when I’m 20 idk if it will be achieved though
I’m 22 now bro. Ofc it can be achieved, just put your mind to it!
About the same for my genesis coupe in terms of distance and cost. Just buy a motorcycle and drive only when it rains lol. I'm saving about $200/month just because I'm the only one driving to work why waste gas?
C43 coupe with 40,000 kms on it still worth buying it? Like for the next like 8 years of use?
Depends how much u drive it. As a daily, I’d say no
I have one that Ive been dailying for a year and Im getting rid of it for a Lexus instead. It was fun for a while but even in comfort mode the car is a little rough for me
I get 16mpg in mine over the last 2000 miles and fuel works out like 50p a mile haha
That’s decent mate
How much does it cost to have the better b58 engine?
Same price
@@diangelo6686 Interesting lol
@@pete64041 ya actually the c43 is kinda expensive
@@diangelo6686 My x50e cost 85k after taxes, so i guess it all depends what you get lol
@@pete64041 in the used market basically all b58s are around the same price as c43s m340i x3 540i
Bro how much do you pay for your insurance?
I will do a video on this
What car would you say Is a good starter car for a 17 year old
Everything depends on budget. On the lower end I do like Polo’s and Fiesta’s (1.0 Ecoboost). Higher end I like the A class and CLA.
Hay bro. Thanks for your detailed video explaining it all and breaking down everything. I was looking to buy one of these (the c300) but I calculated the running costs for it and it turns out quite expensive:
Tires: 800 per year or 66 per month
Service care plan + MOT: 1k per year or 83 per month
Road tax: 150 per year or 12.5 per month
Fuel: 150 per month
Insurance: 360 per month
Finance: 500 per month
Average repair cost! 2k per year: 166 per month
66+83+12.5+150+360+500+166: £1,337.5 per month.
Can you let me know if my calculations are accurate please? I know we can't be exact but for an estimate becuase wirh everything calculated per month, it turned out to be nearly £1400 per month 😵 Thanks bro!
Hey man
It all depends on how you drive. I’d expect you would spend less money on petrol in a c300. You also shouldn’t need to change your tyres every year but rather every 2. Repair costs could be a little bit less also.
I’d like to pay insurance outright for the year if your going to spend £500 a month on the car.
@@DeanMDavis really appreciate your advice bro. You are super humble and knowledgeable. May God bless you in this life and the next one. 👊
Why is your insurance so high? As well as your finance? It really shouldn’t be that high, put a higher deposit down, in my honest humble opinion I wouldn’t spend £500 a month on a c300
150 per month fuel?... i go through that every day bruh... such a shame...
@@nosensetj wow! A day? What do you drive 🚗 must be a beast
You’re capping about comfort mode. I own that car.. that’s not comfort mode.
You don’t know how to drive it 😂
get it remapped!!
I’d love to….one day.
Have you modded yours?
Glad you like our European technology. 👍🏻
So what you do for a living?
When I get to 10k subs I’ll do a video on this
4320 pounds a year on fuel only? Damnnn better I take a 435d stage 2 that drinks only when pushed
Bro, new brakes every year is INSANELY INCORRECT an absurd!!!! 1st off u NEVER wanna do just pads. Mercedes rotors(and almost all European cars) are designed with a softer steel that's made to wear with the pads. NEVER cut European rotors, they will warp after running new pads on them. An new pads installed will wear down VERY quickly. I'm a bmw & Audi certified technician, trust me. Always install new odds w/ new rotors. They should last u a min of 30k, but up to 70k miles on average that's wat I've seen during my career on newer vehicles.
It’s not just German cars. Ur supposed to change the pads with the rotors on every single car to ensure it lasts long and works properly. Not just German cars bruh are u dumb 😂😂
moral of the video is if you know a guy, you can do your maintenance on the low 😂😂
you get what u pay for. If you don'y get work done by professionals you run a lot of risk of him possibly fuckin up the car
@@chadpezza307 obviously, i meant if u had connections with a professional, then ur gud lol
Would really appreciate a reply bro! Thanks

Prices are going up because of these petrol bullpuoooo!!!!’
Is it a good panty dropper? 😂🤷🏻♂️
I didn’t know blacks lived in England
Was really thinking of getting one of these (second hand) but I'm thinking the C300 with the AMG styling (also used) may be the way to go on second thoughts 🥲
