I just started watching this out of curiosity. But what you said about putting the bearings in the freezer helped me realize that that's how I'm going to get my clutch on the drive shaft. I was about to pull my hair out earlier over like 3 mm haha SO THANKS!
i was riding my Malaguti Phantom f12 foggy replica with this engine exactly 20 years ago! just memories and fun remind me that color, with the nardo exhaust, overrange variator and and a 21 dell'orto carburator
Nice work mate! I did a build just like you. Pink LC cilinder on a AC block. The cilinder is build for durability and it's limiting factor is the small exhaust port. The customer later came back for a more expensive cilinder and weight reduction of his Yamaha Neos. Empty weight 70kg and dyno around 21HP if I remember correctly.
I denmark we call the engine a long minarelli from a very popular jog r, as it is longer than the short minarelli which is the engine on a yamaha jog as
Hey man nice build just 1 tip for in the future u shouldn’t put your bearrings in the freezer! Some of them are made out of synthetic plastic (im not sure what the right name of it is in english) and if they get put in a hot crankcase while they are cold they can break! Its hard to see with the eye if they are metal or synthetic plastic.
Hello , i dont know where you are located but im from canada and here we have YW50 and CW50, the engine case you got seems to be a Ovetto one and you need a BWSR wheel (CW50) or MBK Rocket, same thing for the kickstart cover, the Chromed Str8 kickcover fits too
How do you make the crankshaft rotate freely after building an engine? Using a brass hammer or what? Please reply im going to rebuild my engine and i've done it once with my old crankcase and after i mounted it the crankshaft gave some noticable resistance for spinning. What im supposed to do in this situation?
Hi with you my name is Brian Top performnaces due plus is a really good cylinder kit. I noticed you measured the squise, "WHY" it is not necessary because the gate time fits the bottom gasket and it will fit perfectly after you tighten it with the right kg of torque wrench. If you put another pack that is thinner between cylinder and block, then you are sure to run it better, I mean you tried to run with the pack that was included with the kit as well. so you can compare, because I'm afraid you're losing the impact of what you've done here. I even use top performances Due plus2 on my Yamaha aerox and I tried the same thing as you just a little bit thicker gasket than the one you used, my aerox run super well but after I put the included gasket in (just for fun so I could compare) then it ran a lot better. but normally I do not measure squise on a cast iron, this is anyway what we learn here in Denmark Ha ha ha (-: I only measure them on Aluminum Racing kits. how many Horsepower did you get out of your Due Plus kit in the video .. greeting Brian
@@ThatScooterThing can i have you email address i have Spanish you tube chanel about scooter and i like to do a interview to you in english via Skype or video cal if u want just please let me know
are you using a jasik evolution crank? was thinking of buying that one for my engine which has a broken crank. do they work good with 50cc you think or only for 70cc?
Yes it is a Jasil. One of the limitations we had was that the TPR kit uses a 10mm wrist pin. The full circle Jasil just made sense. I would think that is fine for 50 or lower 70cc kits.
The 70cc top performance kitsch actually fit really well even without flowing. The cylinder porting was a deliberate decision by us to get the most out of the cylinder but is not obligatory It is only the grinding to match the intake kit for the polini big evo intake that is obligatory

Neos owner here.
What did you remove to get it down to 70kg???
How about a follow up video. I wanna see that motor/scooter screaming
Nice, love a good 'ol Minarelli build.
Well done. Minarelli the best 🏆
Very nice job. Grear video!!
why u always have to modify the parts even racing ones ? cant they just make parts all ready worked out so that u just plug and play ?
when is gona ckme out next epizode?
Very cool man.
where are part 2 of this engien bulid?

nice work, may I know which stator is mounted on the engine? Thank you
where is the next part pls i need this for my engine didnt even know it could be swaped to liquid cooled just like that
is there a part 2 ?

Yeah. that is a lesson I learned. Thankfully my support from overseas was there swiftly and provided the right stuff.
Name of epoxy aluminium ?
good video!
If u frees the crank shaft condens will not ruen it?
Great video do more please
What ignition timing did you use for the due plus cylinder? Plz. help me out, cant find anyehere the timing settings in mm before Top Center😅
lovely build buddy but may i ask why put it in the vise without a cloth to protect the engine lol, bet u got vise prints lol
What is the jettings of your 24mm carb
Woo! nice vid. Life isn't letting me get a scooter yet but I will someday.
JAPAN yori good!
Nice build brother! new subs
What torque wrench Nm u use for motor block and cylinder nuts??? Please respond its important

Wheres Part 2 ?
Where's the rest of the build?
A little late, but I would recommend putting 2 stroke oil in the cylinder before putting it on.
Oh I do, just editing the boring parts out :)
what spark plug?
Part 2 ?
New subscriber👌🏻
Where is ur shop located ?
Can’t find the video off this engine running
Haven't finished editing but it has been running for a while
Just need some extra footage.
That CVT cover are for a Aerox 100cc Or Neos 100cc, You got the 50cc version!

How much would this cost to replicate?
The case cover DRILLILIUM , RAD!!!
Why didnt you put in a tpr 86cc
Wich version top performance is this? tpr?
Due+
Very nice video. Keep it in that way
What kind of crankshaft are u using?
I believe... It is a Jasil full circle. Simple stuff. 10mm pin due to the kit
@@ThatScooterThing thanks
Have you got it running yet
Oh yes, it has been sitting a little since our big move, but it will be getting a better carb and a dedicated video
@@ThatScooterThing OK mate cool
I would like something similar but at 90cc but I need whoever does it, where are you from
*Good*
Since when do you have to flow the carters for a 70cc, i thought 70cc fits on a stoch engine

Where you order the engine mounts vertical to horizontal ???
This was an easyboost conversion kit
Google should help

Hi I heard you mention a kingwelle/quatrinni 260 I’m doing the same looking forward to your video!
I do, but currently waiting on a special, silly 12x1.00 Nut for the Kingwelle crank.
Quattrini
Francesco Pertile yes

The jasil crankshaft is not a good choice. Its just as crap as the stock one, just heavier. I hope you dont have problems with it.

hi where can i buy that stator or rotor. thanks
Looks similar to the italkit innerrotor
Jeppe Niller ok
Or if you got a bit deeper pockets i would recommend malossi eprom, stage6 r/t innerotor or polini evolution innerotor
0.85mm squish?? ..rather large for a performance build.
The bottom gaskit is flipped
Top😎😎😎
where the F is the next video, its bin more then a year now.
The port timing is off of this cylinder and the squish is too big. Exhaust port too small
That an aerox engine you need a aerox variator cover.
you mounted te piston te wrong way up :-(
demoller42 no he didnt he mounted the piston whit the arrow facing the exhoust
Which is the correct way ⬆️😁
