  • This Aurora Through The Eyes Of A Child live reaction is genuinely my first time ever hearing this song as well as my first time watching this particular live performance of it.
I've found each of @AuroraMusic 's songs to be quite mesmerising so far and Through The Eyes Of A Child is no exception. This is maybe the quietest reaction I've ever done as I was so captivated.
    0:00 Intro

    5:20 Summary
When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.
You can checkout the artist's original track without my commentary here: • AURORA - Through The E...
Please do recommend songs or other artists for me to checkout in future by commenting on this video! I'm constantly on the lookout for great new music and things I've never heard before.
A Spotify playlist of songs I've reacted to and consider to be absolute bangers can be found here: open.spotify.com/playlist/26j...

Similar but shorter as I discovered her music like in 1Q of 2021 (at last I think as memory can be wrong but not later then this date ;) ).

Although I love the lyrics of this song, my favorite part is that vocalizing in the last section. It is just so beautiful and powerful at the same time.

"A live voice shouldn´t sound this good" - that´s so stunning with Aurora. She doesn´t need a studio to sound this incredible. I would absolutely love to see her live one day. And I really didn´t want this song to end ever! Thank you for your great reviews - especially from Aurora.

    Absolutely authentic. Unapologetically artistic.

Aurora was 19 at this performance. Not only did she write the song, but, as usual, was very involved in both the arrangement and production. For examole, every member of the choir had an individual microphone. Absolutely stunning performance. Unabashedly letting the tears flow down my cheeks.

There is an accapella version with multiple background singers which is also insanely good

I see (and am so delighted) that you are going through her earlier catalog. You will see, over time, that she keeps evolving her subject matter, focusing on different themes. Just fascinating, imo. That entire Nidarosdomen concert was completely epic. Christmas season of 2017.
The female harmony in that one was Silja, her backup singer at that time. The band was with her at that concert, along with the male chorus and orchestra. What a venue, eh?!

This is my other favorite of hers.
(Well... how could I choose just one)
    And also my favorite version.
So much Aurora tonight from you! This makes my day. So much better than it was !
Aurora does things like this: change your day. (If not yourself). :)

Unfortunately, the only time I remember them showing Silja is during Runaway, but I'm sure she's providing her usual beautiful backing vocals throughout (though often drowned out by the male choir).

Norwegian as a language, while often shorting the words, also announciate well, consonants and vowels are all clearly heard. I guess that gives her an advantage.

Steve. With humility, I fear you’re not allowing enough time to experience the energetic power of Aurora’s performances, because you stay in your analytical talking side of your brain too much. Aurora can impact and benefit you more, if you allow it to resonate with your spirit. That is what I really enjoy seeing from reactors, vs their logical analysis. To accomplish this, be quiet and just listen without analyzing for a while longer.
Thank you for reacting to Aurora and appreciating her.
