This is from a masterpiece of a concert. I cry every time I hear this. The audience were so privillaged to be there. There are several versions she did of "Life on Mars" all are good. She made me listen to the lyrics for the first time and now I hear the original in a very different way.
Great review. I think Norway must have some of the best sound engineers in the world. One of the amazing things about Aurora, is how many times her live performances are better than the studio versions. I mean regurlarly. That's a rare thing.
Love all of your reactions to Aurora. I am as enthralled with her as you. Got to see her live in NY this summer and couldn't get enough. She seems to draw us into her world spin us around in the cosmos and gently send us back to our world somehow changed.
I saw her live last March, brilliant. Even better I bumped into her (almost literally) that morning and had a few minutes of her company. What a special person. She looks at the world in a different way, eye opening. Also very knowledgeable and intelligent.
Aurora was very young here and it's been amazing to follow her over this past 7-8 years. And to see how much she has evolved. Both musically and technically. Back then she was a raw, amazing talent. For instant, she could get a bit nasal during some vocalizations back then. Now? Not so much. She works hard. She is a work the fingers to the bone professional. Always looking to improve. What an artist she is.
This church was buildt a thousand years ago ontop of Norways king Olav II grave, i need poeople not from Norway to understand how massive this concert is.
pipe organ :) (From the wiki) Two organs are installed in the cathedral. The main organ was built by the Steinmeyer firm in 1930, and was erected in the north transept.[9] It then had 125 stops. Installation of the Steinmeyer organ was commissioned in 1930 for the 900th anniversary of the Battle of Stiklestad. The organ was funded mostly by donations, particularly by Elias Anton Cappelen Smith. In 1962, the organ was heavily rebuilt and moved to the west nave. Many stops were removed; some of them were used to build a new choir organ. This organ was fully restored in 2014.[10][11] The old Baroque organ built by noted German organ builder Joachim Wagner (1690-1749) during the period 1738-40 was carefully restored by Jürgen Ahrend between 1993 and 1994. It has 30 stops and is located at a gallery in the north transept.[12] Thanks for the review :)
Nidarosdomen is a masterpìece of Gothic architecture, and then comes Aurora and along comes enhancement how can someone be so good fair? Well I don't really care, what I cherish is that I found her back in 2016, some lucky discovery, and I keep discovering her every day ever since.....and she fills my soul with this weird joy and enchantemt I got hooked to...........we're so fortunate she's fucking around for us. Aurora is all abouot Love and Magic!
Loving your AURORATHON! I've been hoping you would find more of her. I appreciate your listening skill. I don't know about skill but I am mesmerized by her and her talent. When I first heard 'Runaway' a little earlier than most did, I was confused on why this was so unknown. She is so gifted but not just at pop sounds. So glad she focuses on her music rather than what the music industry biz needs. This performance is so great, but I love even others maybe? more! It's easy. Thanks to your time sharing it with us! Her latest album 'The Gods we can Touch' is really something unique and inspired, I'd say...
Please checkout Chinese superstar Hua Chenyu who is an amazing artist with a fantastic stage presence and a genius composer. He is very versatile and very unpredictable so you never know what to expect. My favorite is his performance of Fake Monk on the Chinese show Singer 2018. This is an artistic masterpiece and I recommend that you watch the short prestage interview first. This is also very different from his other performances: Fake Monk with interview and English subs: ua-cam.com/video/wpwo-rOqP-Q/v-deo.html Another great performance is Nunchucks also from Singer 2018. This brilliantly shows off his versatility: ua-cam.com/video/lLs-0A0yEuA/v-deo.html
Did YT take down your original channel...? If they did.....my god am I getting sick of this platform. It was, and still could be, so good. But they keep punishing good people...in some futile attempt to flush out the bad people. And it's backfiring....constantly. Let's see if this comment even remains. Despite posting _nothing but_ positive good vibes comments, 50% of them....poof, disappear. It happens constantly. Why? I can't work out any pattern or reason whatsoever. Purely arbitrary from what I can tell.
Please react to this AURORA beauty: ua-cam.com/video/nyEN3MyXtrg/v-deo.html The song is "The River" and it is accompanied by an orchestra. by the way, her 2020 concert is beautiful, I believe you will like it a lot. Hugs from Brazil. (Sorry my English) ⚘️
"She looks like an actual angel!"
And sounds like one too!
FYI - The keyboard used in this venue is an Steinmeyer Organ, and the largest church-organ in the whole of Northern-Europe, with it’s 9600 pipes.
I bet you can feel electricity in the room when she enters it. Damn. You cannot touch power like this.
Her performance of Through the Eyes of a Child at this performance is my favorite.
yes mine too
She sings straight from soul. So beautiful, and her voice moves me like no other artist creating music in these times.
your response is the response that we all have, she is an artist par excellence

Everything from NRK TV is absolutely top notch. I hope they're recognized worldwide (at least by their peers) for how great they are.
She becomes her songs

One of the sweetest humans on the planet. Her and Angelina Jordan. It must be the water in Norway.

I know you don't really focus on the lyrics, but believe me that they add a whole extra layer to the song.
Amazing! Great reaction. And how the heck did she write the majority of this song at the age of 9 !
She goes into godess mode.
Masterpiece!!!
Genius! 🥰
Aurora is back! Love your reaction, of course :)

She is an angel or an elfe?
Both! A woodland fairy and an Angel. 🥰
