Camel expedition. Part 14. How to pick the right camel camp.

When traveling with camels on a long expedition it’s important to pick the right camp every day. Good feed and soft ground is what we look for and water where possible. Water is few and far between in a remote parts of Australia and doing 20 to 30 kms a day it is a continual search for these things. Camels don’t need water every day as the right trees give them enough moisture to get them through. In this video we show what we look for in a good camel camp as it is important for the health and up keeping when travelling for months out bush through remote Australia.
