  • We pick up Munji and Miss Black and do a final run to Paraburdoo. We arrive at the old camel farm for a break but not before we do some test riding on Munji and Mr. Grey. Munji as lead camel out front will be taught to use the reins and Mr.Grey will take his first passenger. Munji hoping to go straight on holiday eating fresh oats and was a bit grumpy at doing extra task. Lu decided to join the fun and saddled up Little Miss Black and rode off into the sunset.

When I was much younger, I rode every rough stock rodeo event in the US. I've been thrown 8-10 feet in the air. But, I never mounted an animal where the saddle was 8-10 feet above the ground. I think I'd want a crash helmet and a parachute before climbing onto a camel.

Luke u have beautiful soft hands with those reins. It made me think of a story that happened to my mum. Mum was spending the turn of the century in Egypt. She loved adventure and was riding a camel within a group traveling up mount Sinai. She said there was a one way track that wrapped around it to get to the top. Anyway she was half way up and going around a blind bend when she was involved in a camel crash. She tore all the ligaments and broke her ankle.
Another was when my cousin went to Dubai with his partner for their first holiday. He was a jackaroo , bull rider and bronc rider. They were taken out by a guide into the desert. When they got there the guide demanded more money and threatened to leave them there if they didn't. Justin told him to ... And yelled to the new partner... Follow me stuff the guide. Never ridden a camel before and off he went back to where they hired from. The dodgy guys were very impressed he got back himself... White boys can ride lol

Ha I thought he was going to chuck one into ya at one one point there Luke can and do they buck much you seem a long way back from the steering wheel 😂

They can buck, can swing that head around and chew ya off the saddle but most are cool when ya spend a bit of time getting used to you, it is a long way up there

You must be careful now. The male camels will begin to become agitated, at the time of mating, at the time of the onset of the cold seasons. The male is calm in the summer time, but he changes suddenly when he is in a state of agitation. He is like a drunkard, and if you want to ride him for the first time, it is preferable for someone to lead him with a rope. And you are a rider because if no one wants to ride on him, he runs with all four legs at the same time, or if he sees a tree he approaches it and makes its branches and thorns get stuck in you, or you use that rope if you are alone, you use that rope in his nostrils so that you are able to control the camel’s head. You can have complete control over it
