Tub Setup for Super Dwarf AND Ball Python

- I set up a quarantine tub for my new super dwarf reticulated python and realized that a semi-arboreal quarantine tub is actually GREAT for a ball python too (even though ball pythons are a terrestrial species). Take a look at this setup and let me know what you think, for a ball python. Also, I bought a thing for my ball pythons a while back and just realized it's an even better item for ball pythons... even though it's intended for dogs.

I have this plastic, three tiered ball tower toy that my BP seems to absolutely love exploring. If I take it out she'll spend all of her time exploring each ball track. They're great because if you get the plastic ones you can pop the balls out of the track, made for cats, great for BPs!!!

Thoery kint isn't actually using the camera he is holding becuse the camra isn't shacks and when we look at him he is holding it. That can only mean one thing. THE SNAKE WAS THE TRUE CAMRA MAN ALL ALONG

I love your videos. They are entertaining and informative. Thank you. I often recommend them to the newbies on FB. I have to say tho you are one of the reasons I still have not gotten a snake, lol. You once said 🙄 ask yourself not if you want a new pet but do you want to be a caretaker to a snake for the next 30 years! Lol but I took that to heart ❤ and still am thinking it over and over and over....

Echo is absolutely wonderful. I would love to have a snake like this. Or a jungle carpet python. I want something I can put in a 6 to 7 feet tall enclosure. At first I was planning to do that (5-6 feet) for a ball python and as I was designing it, I realized how hard it is to make it safe enough to not have it fall. So I decided to go for 3 feet tall and give more floor space because it's easier to build more solid stuff to climb on from the bottom.
Good plan for the ball python! A carpet python or super dwarf would be great choices for that real tall enclosure.
Molly Malone is so beautiful! She looks a lot like my banana enchi boy. Ball pythons have some of the coolest morphs and I kinda want to just collect them all 😂

Nice video. I have one ball python in a 36”x18”x18” with a large slanted log thing that I had for an aquarium. Got it from pet smart. It’s like 24”x16” footprint. I’d post a link but idk if that’s allowed be Bob in the comments.
Anyway she longs the thing and is on it almost every night. Most days I come home from work and she is laying on it. She is 400-500g so still small but I thought I’d share with the community here.
Big note: if it has holes (this one dose) close them. I glued screen over the holes so she can’t try to go in and get stuck inside.
Logs to climb are a great thing to have in the enclosure!
About 75 percent of my balls always were climbing up in the branch work……..now I only have one ball pythons and once lights out, if I go sneak a peek, he’s always in the branches facing downward ready to hit a meal. I’ll have to check your other vid to see what points you made to come to your conclusion.

Oak is toxic to snakes. Natural stuff is a good idea but make sure you look up what's safe. Both oak and pine are toxic

So the perches wouldn't work with glass enclosures since you have to drill holes, correct?

There are other magnetic perch holders that work with glass, so it can be done without the holes... Kent's therapy bill is huge so we appreciate the help! :-)

Molly is an Ultramel. She's het for pied and possibly het for hypo as well but Ultramel is what she shows
