Lol I know where that is! I was on the other lower, slower flow side cleaning up moss gold last June. It was my 1st time there and wasn't sure what I was doing actually lol. You did very good! Congratulations! That's great!

You need a GoldBug 2 for that small stuff. They are phenomenal detectors on tiny nuggets.
Right on Red, yeah I have a gold bug 2 its awesome, This place is known for only small gold though pickers and smaller, and it is one of the most littered rivers Ive come across tons of metal and lead. I save the GB2 for bedrock and lager gold when possible.

Spoons you need an assortment of spoons for bedrock cleaning ,,big spoon tablespoonetc it helps
I use spoons some times, a plastic cup cut at an angle work well also you can flex it into cracks and scoop material into it.
