My takeaway from this show is that if you want to make money from gold mining, you go into the businesses making heavy mining equipment and shipping them and resources/fuel.
@@bami2 The best way to make money on gold is to set up a folding table at Christmas time and pay people half what their jewelry is worth so they can buy presents.

Big gold nuggets are incredibly rare. It'd be a complete waste of their time to do that. Pretty much all the gold is in small pieces and specks.

Fred’s going to end up with no gold and have to pay Juan every cent he gets. Hopefully he’ll make enough gold to pay Juan by the end of the season. After all this with Juan’s equipment he’s renting there’s not going to be anything left to pay his crew. He should of started out with $100,000 not $20,000. It’s crazy how little he thinks it takes to start a business, I wish him well but no faith in his business sense
