Your low side rails defo a way to go with the 17ft Montauk and a factory supplied Bimini top❤. All the Montauks with the high stainless rails + factory Bimini when at a side docked just to hop on/off the boat gets tricky with an open Bimini.
Enjoy your videos, been thinking of purchasing the same boat moving from a 2022 yamaha fxho waverunner , I believe you also changed it up from a jet ski , how do you feel about the slower speeds ?
Thank you!! Funny because I wish I can put a 300hp on this thing lol I really miss the speed. Specially coming from a Ultra 310x. However, I would not go back. It’s a different experience and you can be out there all day or night if you wanted to. You can’t go wrong with this boat if looking specifically for a 17 footer. I love it.

Nice montauk. How’s the ride? Does it hurt the knees or smooth ride?
It’s better than you would expect for a 17 footer 😁 … surprisingly smooth but can beat you up on a rough day
Ok looks really nice 👍🏼 thanks for sharing
What's your top speed loaded?
Loaded for me is usually 2 adults, cooler and full tank of gas. Top speed has been a consistent 43-45 🤙
