this was a cult classic movie. It had all the elements, highly memorable characters. The twins were amazing, the villains and the unwilling hero, the set, the action everything was highly entertaining and superb cast. Sometimes you just ignore the critics and enjoy the movie. Quite alot of great movies get mediocre reviews from critics, frankly, i only look at audience score for anything.
Fun fact: the only stipulation Ryan Reynolds had for his cameo in this film was the same length as Brad Pitt’s cameo in Deadpool 2. Both films were directed by David Leitch. Also: the book Channing Tatum is reading isn’t a real book, but a fictional book written by Sandra Bullock’s character in Lost City, which has a fantastic Brad Pitt cameo.
This movie is weirdly stylish and is right up my alley. I watched this at the end of 2023 and wondered why did I not watch it sooner. I love the cheesiness, the mystery, the assassin's quarrels, lots but subtle details, the song remixes, everything. Aaron Taylor Johnson was a mood. I'd like to watch a spin off of just lemon & tangerine.
I saw this movie with my friends in theaters, didn't see anything about this movie. I walked out thinking it was the best theater experience I ever had
It is kimiko. You didn’t recognise so many actors in this movie. I was constantly shouting every time a familiar actor appeared when i was watching this movie.
Dude you are correct. This movie is Highly underrated. It’s so much fun. The script is tight. I love it when a script can spin multiple threads in seemingly different directions then weave them all back together in exciting and unexpected ways. This script does so magnificently. Plus it gets better on the rewatch because you pick up more details that you missed the first time.
Oh. The director David Leitch is a stunt coordinator and did the stunt work for not only Deadpool but John Wick. Another great movie he directed that you should check out is “Atomic Blonde” starring Charlize Theron.
Never realized till now that when Lemon was talking to the Russians son he says “and you are a Percy” referring to the Thomas the Train character. But the writers totally did that on purpose bc the actor that plays the son is Logan Lerman, the actor that played Percy in the Percy Jackson movies 💀
Yes, it’s hemotoxic! It prevents blood from clotting. So, you won’t just be bleeding from every orifice, but internally as well! It doesn’t happen nearly as fast as in this movie, though. It would likely take a couple days, give or take. Not sure if that’s better or worse, though. 🤔 I do love these snakes. I’ve got one tattooed on my shoulder.
Looking at a map the stops, the bullet train does take the coast and not the straightest of lines, but a truck would be very hard pressed to make it from Tokyo to Kyoto. It would have to probably take E20, but another problem is there is a giant series of mountains in the way. There are no roads through them so the truck wouldn't be able to go straight there either without a large detour. It was certainly the same truck company and product, but not the exact same truck. Knowledge ruins all fun sadly.
@@YukoValis it takes roughly 6 hours to get from Tokyo to Kyoto. Visually speaking, we start the movie at sunset, then next it’s nighttime, then at the climax it’s sunrise. That’d have to be roughly 7 or 8 hours on the train.

it should be noted that hilariously, they got the guy with a thick English accent to actually say the line "bottle of water" for those that don't know (somehow) it's a bit of a meme that people with English/British accents say "bottle of water" without pronouncing any of the consonants, which people will usually poke fun at by saying things like "bo'oh'o'wa'er" so the fact that Ladybug specifically chose a bottle of water out of all the things on the trolley is kinda funny

its the same actor
I saw this in the cinema and I loved it, I'm so glad to fibally find other people who did too! Crazy underrated and so much fun.
Oh hell yeah! One of those movies where you're like "Is this a genre? PLz tell me this is a genre..." but its that thing that's just its own thing.
Another one that falls in the same "there is only one like this" is the movie Jojo Rabbit. You would love that one too, Alex, i garantee that!
Alex started asking „if you found that briefcase“
Didn’t even need to hear the rest, I instantly said „I‘m keeping it“
Out of all the roles Michael Shannon has played , he remembers him from 8 mile 💀
So, in a couple of interviews, Hiro Sanada said that daily during filming, he would say "I love this movie!!"
I think they all felt this way. 🎉
I also love that "Holding Out for a Hero" was playing while Hiro got to let loose with his sword 🗡️❤
it should be noted that hilariously, they got the guy with a thick English accent to actually say the line "bottle of water"
for those that don't know (somehow) it's a bit of a meme that people with English/British accents say "bottle of water" without pronouncing any of the consonants, which people will usually poke fun at by saying things like "bo'oh'o'wa'er"
so the fact that Ladybug specifically chose a bottle of water out of all the things on the trolley is kinda funny
I love this movie so much. I watched it in theaters 3 times. When it came out. A second time to catch more details. And a 3rd for fun sake
Super sad realization when you see that Tangerine gave Lemon his bulletproof vest and saved his life, not that it would have helped Lemon lol
💩 was way better that I expected, it was fkn hilarious too.
totally agree
There’s actually a movie starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, where Brad Pitt makes a cameo, call the Lost City and i think that’s the reason for Channing Tatum’s cameo and Sandra’s cameo.
Alex screaming "FUUUUUUUUXXXXXXXX" is the best
@31:16 watch the scenery in the background. It reverses direction
I need a Lemon and Tangerine series of prequels.
I watched this movie for absolutely no reason at all tbh, I was just bored one day and saw it pop up so i let it ride while I was taking care of some cleaning/cooking. At some point, I'm not even sure when exactly, I found myself sitting down and locked tf in. Didn't even finish cleaning and almost burnt my food, I loved it.
By far, lemon is my favourite i love when he said you're a diesel. It's just kinda funny how he can tell a personality by a Thomas episode
