Hi. I’ve just seen your video and it’s nice to see all the mistakes, as I know they could of been edited out to make it look good, but as you know, plumbing isn’t always a smooth journey. Well done mate keep up the good work, send those videos through 👍🏻
Thanks mate, always leave my mistakes in and my thought process, I always notice on the videos il start to think of doing something one way and end up doing something different, just real world plumbing hope it helps 👍
Get 2 bits of fireboard and use a hinge to connect them, will last a life time. Also get tin foil you use in oven and that works too aslong as flame is hitting the fitting 😂
@bluebulldog_uk I use plastic in places like heating pipes under flooring but try mostly in copper especially when it's on show. Just looks so much more professional
Evostik sticks like 💩 do a turbo version that sets in 15 minutes. Might work better for you, think it's five or six quid from toolstation. Good job, bit of an awkward route to get round.
Used evo before and it’s been sound to be fair, CT1 is proper sticky and quite hard to get out but once it sets it’s solid just takes a while Cheers mate, was awkward to start with but once I found a way I was well happy, was a bit of a educated guess when I stuck wood bit through joist into under stairs 😂
Your more than likely right would of been better…I have used that power grab and bond before and it’s been quite good, for a quick fix didn’t really work.
36 mate been doing it since I was 18…my dad did his at 44, went on to be a lecturer and had a great career, another guy I know on my channel is 55 and just doing his so go for it mate! Never to old to start again 👍👍
Put the blobs on the wall leave them 5 mins to start curing then push clips on. Won’t slip and should hold.
Cheers mate, will give that a try see if it works better 👍

I would have bent a bit of copper to go, up the angled ceiling and, put the ugly speedfit coupler, at the top, out of sight 👍
You should have done it in 10mm like Dan with nice press fit fittings
Enjoyed this
Thanks mate 👍

Might give that a bash, cheers mate, tin foil is cheap as well 😂👍
@@bluebulldog_uk its great for not burning walls haha
The fireboard and hinge idea is actually genius. My issue with mats is that they are too floppy and just get in the way.
First class 💯👌👏
Thanks mate 👍
So nice to see someone use copper and not plastic nonsense.
Proper in copper 👊👍 don’t use plastic unless absolutely have to…saying that I’ve got a first fix next week…got to be done all in plastic ☹️

@@colin4685 100% mate, hate plastic on show looks so bad
@@bluebulldog_uk I call myself the plastic surgeon. I like to remove plastic 😄
@@colin4685 😂 I like that, I’m having that one 😂👍

No white clips?
I bet super glue and activator would have held it better than ct1
