Good improved product at a good improved price. I hope you sell a million of them. Thanks Dave for all you have contributed to the bushcraft-survival community! May God bless you, your family, and America! :)
This is good stuff , I have several bushpots , and just added this one to the bunch , its a great pot and will most likely be on of my go to for the bush . But whats great is this morning having my coffee Im bouncing around you tube on bushcraft , survival , gear etc. videos and i came across a vid of yours from 2013 when you were showing the Mors pot , which I own as well and is a great pot , and announcing that you would now be surplussing them at the time , and here we are a few years later and you have your own bushpot ......Its a beautiful thing !!! Keep doing what you do Dave , you reach alot of people !!!
Love to watch ya cook Dave. Great job on the new bushpot. I think those are some great improvements but I still love my bushpot as is, and just use the stove on last night's camp. Set it right in the middle of all the coals and just pluck it out with a stick when your done.
Love this pot! Perfect for 2 people. We use it a lot! Jamie at SRO was nice enough to share a recipe with us and it was perfect. Great products, great store, awesome people!
Dave, I tried that recipe a while back and it sure makes for a hearty meal. It would be great in a winter setting. Thank you for sharing and updating the new bush pot.
Just got mine in the mail today, you can actually feel and see the high quality when you hold it in your hands. Fantastic cooking pot for the money. I will be going out to use it tomorrow and the day after. Thanks Dave. - Marco
Hi Dave, I'm so happy I found the Old Bay seasoning!, I had never heard of it until I saw you using it!, now I put it on everything, it helps cutting down on salt!.. Thanks Dave!, your hair is still awesome!..
I finally broke down a bought this Bush Pot. It's worth every penny I paid for it. Very well made and durable. Perfect size; you can cook for two or just use it for solo outings. The upgrades to the bail and handles make it perfect. If you're considering this item, I rest assured it's a quality piece of kit.
I have the larger bushpot, and I love it! The quality of materials and the thoughtful details mean I'll have it for a long, long time. I'd like to get this smaller one as well, though I try not to over kit myself. Thanks for the great products, Dave. Good to see a new video from you! :)
Awesome improvements! If I could have made recommendations, these would have been it. You basically have the perfect bush pot now. Great job as always.
Dave most people that are not from the Chesapeake Bay area don't know what Old Bay is or much less use it. You seam to be the exception keep up the good work.
nice job. I love the price point on this piece of kit. You have definitely caught my eye with this Gen 2 small Bush Pot. I might just have to do a review on it. Thanks for the awesome improvements.
Good improvements! Surprised the stove that came with it was not a hit. I use mine all the time because it keeps you from having to have anything else, just fire, bushpot and stove.
Dave, I have a suggestion that would improve the options on this pot. Design a strainer/steamer device that would be large enough to steam veggies. The strainer could nest inside the lid. Multipurpose field utility gear.
Sorry to double comment.. but is there a 2cup measurement line, my gen 1 I believe two cups was at the bottom crease line of the pour spout, it would be nice for the cups to be permanently marked
As a college student with not a lot of money to spend on hobbies, the fact that y'all can produce a cookset that is bullet proof and garanteed to last at $25 per piece is a godsend.
Hey, can't go wrong with the good ole OLD BAY, should be available to all bushcrafters!!! Love the pot, are you able to ship internationally? Thanks, great video!
Does this small pot nest inside the Large Bush Pot with lids in place on both pots? The specs for the small pot show a height of 6" with lid on, but my large pot is exactly 6" deep and the lid seats down in the pot. So, it doesn't seem like they will nest with the lids on.
Hi Dave, Great videos! I love watching the evolution of your products. Great idea! Do you think it's a good idea to try the folding handle from your canteen (3 points of contact on the ground) on this 2 qt pot, instead of the butterfly handles? I really like the handle on the canteen. Thanks, Dave.
I've recently bought one of your alcohol burners, and it wasn't cheap, I like its size and its robustness, it will outlive any Trangia, but it doesn't blossom properly, it only burns from the inside and not through the burn holes like its supposed to do ! What are you prepared to do about this please Dave ??? This isn't an official customer complaint, yet, and I also have a YT channel, but I've not done a review video on it, yet. Thanks, Paul 🇬🇧
i have used that chicken . i like the regular , the grilled didn't taste too good to me . not to be insulting Dave , but check out "cookin with Bob " . that guy has camp cookin down to an art . nice pot . good price too .
Love all your videos, Dave... been watching them for a long time. I really enjoy them but you really really need a mic. Your awfully hard to hear when your not next to the camera.
heck yea poboy like me can afford that know! wish I could make it to yall new store kinda far for me tho good video Dave allways enjoy learning from you brother
I really wish titanium manufacture cost would come down. So many great products in titanium would be even better. Weight is such a huge issue backpacking. If only I could get a 5inch Firebox in titanium.
ALRIGHT DAVE, Slow down with the good deals, lmao. Just got the PF SS Kettle (gets here 08/21/17) And NOW the pot deal (pardon the pun :-), . I got rent coming up lol. Oh well, that's what we get, one good deal after another. Thankls for the vid AND THE PRICE!!
Bought a can of Old Bay cause I've seen ya use it in so many cooking videos. HOLY MACKEREL!!! Ya really should warn folks how spicy it is. Thought I'd bit into a Habanero. The garlic & herb would probably taste great...IF... I could of tasted em. All I could taste was the HEAT from the spices until my taste buds finally died a slow & painful death. Sprinkled the rest of the can around the garden. Haven't seen a bug since. It makes an excellent insect repellent, but for sure & certain I won't be cooking with it again.
I appreciate the fact that Dave always thanks his customers and supporters in his vids. He is one if the few that do
Great job on the design elements to that nice piece of "kit"!
I just bought it. My second one. Can't get enough of quality bush crafting tools. Thanks for always being willing to improve your own products.
Dave, I'm a huge fan of your channel and I really enjoy your cooking videos. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this channel. Cheers👍

great to see that you listen to your customer's.
Great pot the upgrades and price definitely make it a winner.
thanks for posting so much lately. i love this channel!
Great new sleeves and a great pot Dave!

The upgrades to the bail and handles make it perfect. If you're considering this item, I rest assured it's a quality piece of kit.
Looks like it'll be a great pot, great improvements!
I enjoy your channel and do like hearing you talk about your products. Take care.
I love the pot! Hey, Dave, I haven't seen your old dog for a while in the vids. I hope he's OK.
It seems odd , a cooking video and no Rufus cameo.
Thank you, Dave!
How about a fry pan that nests nicely under the bottom of the bush pot? I know it would be a smaller diameter fry pan...
Enough for 2 people and a dog.
Rufus looks like one of the happiest dog ever.
I have the larger bushpot, and I love it! The quality of materials and the thoughtful details mean I'll have it for a long, long time.
I'd like to get this smaller one as well, though I try not to over kit myself. Thanks for the great products, Dave. Good to see a new video from you! :)
I wish the bail had a notch at the apex to help keep it from spilling when it's hung over the fire.
just ordered this and the kettle. Thank you Dave!
Awesome improvements! If I could have made recommendations, these would have been it. You basically have the perfect bush pot now. Great job as always.
Thanks Dave!
Looks like a great addition
Nice Pot Dave! And the price too!!!
I've seen plenty of bushpots with less features than this for literally twice the price... wow great job man.
Dave most people that are not from the Chesapeake Bay area don't know what Old Bay is or much less use it. You seam to be the exception keep up the good work.
Sold! This is what I've been looking for on my car camping outings.
Just received my small pot and love the changes made in it, great improvements not mention the price also.
Dave I like your cooking videos,
nice job. I love the price point on this piece of kit. You have definitely caught my eye with this Gen 2 small Bush Pot. I might just have to do a review on it. Thanks for the awesome improvements.
This is exactly the upgrade this pot needed.
Nice pot & great price!
Great piece of kit!
Good improvements! Surprised the stove that came with it was not a hit. I use mine all the time because it keeps you from having to have anything else, just fire, bushpot and stove.
Looks good man. I'll have to get one of these. I really like the new handle ya'll added Thumb's up!~John
Thank you for showing your new design, and lowering the price!
Time to replace the old pot. I also plan on getting the bigger pot. This will give me a 4 pot cooking system that nest together.
When's the cup going to be available??
That is exactly what I do when camping. Sometimes it is a sausage too. Quick and good meal.
Dave, I have a suggestion that would improve the options on this pot. Design a strainer/steamer device that would be large enough to steam veggies. The strainer could nest inside the lid. Multipurpose field utility gear.
Got on in the new kettle
Love my gen1 cant wait for supper out of gen2
cool dave.
going to be a tough choice between the bush pot and the kettle when pay day comes around...
excellent improvement
Looks great!
Very nice! Priced right as well.
Does the new bush pot nest into the new folding skillet?
Hi Dave! Where is Rufus? Nice video and Thank you for shearing! I will looking into that pot so I can go head and purchase it.
Sorry to double comment.. but is there a 2cup measurement line, my gen 1 I believe two cups was at the bottom crease line of the pour spout, it would be nice for the cups to be permanently marked
Awesome sauce lol wow great looking pot for sure. We sound like dope heads hahaha. I'm loving my new coffee pot it's amazing!!!
As a college student with not a lot of money to spend on hobbies, the fact that y'all can produce a cookset that is bullet proof and garanteed to last at $25 per piece is a godsend.
Get the PF SS Kettle - PERFECT for dorms!!!
Hey, can't go wrong with the good ole OLD BAY, should be available to all bushcrafters!!! Love the pot, are you able to ship internationally? Thanks, great video!

Dave, new ink on the left hand?
Dave, I've got a question: Is the bottom of the pot flat? I'd always wind up with burnt food in that little trench that goes around the edge.
Did UA-cam demonetize Daves channel like they have all my other favorites?
Where is the pot made? China like the rest? Just curious
...and a can of good ol' Bay! YAH! I got a can of that solely from these videos for my camping trip. Chicken was to die for because of the seasoning.
can you still buy the stove if you want ?
What's going on with the canvas tarp man? Anticipation is killing me.
Will the new stainless steel kettle fit inside the smaller bushpot?
gruftle That would make for a great cooking kit.
Really nice just what I need. Can you tell me if this is 64 oz ? Trying to purchase but can not seem to find the Gen 2 small ... hmmmm
Very nice!
How many quarts does the pot hold ?
Hi Dave,

Looking for a good 2qrt pot... i think im going to take the plunge for this one. I will tell you how it holds up in the jungles of panama
I've recently bought one of your alcohol burners, and it wasn't cheap, I like its size and its robustness, it will outlive any Trangia, but it doesn't blossom properly, it only burns from the inside and not through the burn holes like its supposed to do ! Send a message to the store, but the ones I have work well, how long have you let it burn it takes time to break them in at first?
How does this compare to the Zebra pot? Similar wall thickness / gauge? Thanks!
Will this fit into an Alice pack?
what is the thickness of the pot walls?
Sweet pot.
Where can i get this nice pot in europe? Without paying horrible shipping costs and tax.
Fritz Danielzik, try on Bushcraftstoreuk, they sell Pathfinder stuff, at reasonable prices
I don't see the cup on the web site.
probably still in the 'alpha'-testing phase ;) ...
Will the new kettle nest inside this gen 2 small bush pot? Thanks for your time.
Man of the people here.
Thank you man i want one
better pot for less money, Thx Dave! :)
Where is Rufus, I don't see the chow hound!
i have used that chicken . i like the regular , the grilled didn't taste too good to me .
not to be insulting Dave , but check out "cookin with Bob " . that guy has camp cookin down to an art .
nice pot . good price too .
Would you be comfortable calling it a bill?
Billy can? sorry
Yes
I want to make food from one of these so bad cause it looks so good but I feel like I'll never get to it
interesting pot !
exceptional price

Seems like the pot is $37 now, still a good deal... Wish I could go back in time and buy it, haha.
The only improvement that I'd like to see is measuring marks stamped into the side, not printed, stamped.
That's a smokin' pot !
Baked bread in mine this last weekend
ALRIGHT DAVE, Slow down with the good deals, lmao. Just got the PF SS Kettle (gets here 08/21/17) And NOW the pot deal (pardon the pun :-), . I got rent coming up lol. Oh well, that's what we get, one good deal after another. Thankls for the vid AND THE PRICE!!
Smoothing it
Now I gotta hope my Gen 1 breaks so I can justify buying a Gen 2. :)
