How to beat Mishimas: Just don't get hit by EWGF (classic jdcr)
or sidestep Electric like a madman
Tip against every tekken character: dont get hit by its strongest launcher
Tip against Leroy: dont get hit
The subtitle guy called Devil Jin "Devil Pigeon" and now I respect him more than ever.
OMFG dvl pigeon 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Today's lesson, DJ scary af."
Thumbnail never disappoints.
lol
"lots of devil pidgeon today" hahaha this is gold
“Deviljin scary”
- Continues winstreak
LMAO TRUE 🤣
I love the CCs bro LMFAO. DJ whiffs electric then JDCR electrics and here comes the CC "(Yup do that)"
JDCR is probably the only person who can launch punish whiffed electrics on reaction lol.
It's really not that hard. You should be expecting keep out electrics at range 2+ and be ready to use your best punish for them
@@NotLuigi yea but it has gotten harder in recent years cuz of the elextric buffs like quicker recovery better tracking
I guess it's about reacting not to whiffed electrics but to electrics that gonna whiff
With a long range hopkick? Easy
With a perfectly timed cd2? Kinda hard
@@bugthesdaguy1316 Yeah, they now recover as fast as Asuka df2 lol. It's hard but it's far from unpunishable on whiff like a lot of people say. Bob's cd1 even recovers faster (fuck that move lol)
It's crazy how ahead of people's thinking JDCR is that he often gets put into situations he should, theoretically, be checkmated, but because he can outlast his opponent they usually fuck up and let him come back.
My brother conveniently mains dj so this was great information thank you
"yes people, he wants you to do this shit"
Lmao at his parrying db+2 on reaction like it was nothing. "You shouldn't do that!". Damn right!
Also, this video was useful for me too, as an entry level Devil Jin player lol. It's always good to know what NOT to do!
is so fucking fun to watch JDCR playing my boi AK
JDCR is a good teacher, maybe not as sophisticated in format as some people would like, but his points are very clear and valid
He's like a college teacher.. doesn't teach the whole thing.. only points out the few things and it's up to you if you gonna learn or not.
@@timesnewramen4861 yea, i like the casual approach to it
His "O shit": always make me laugh
Isnt mishima the best opponents to fight with though? Idk i find fighting mishimas fun and so much easier than many.
True, however I find it extremely rare to come across a top-tier Mishima. Those rare masters are true pain in the ass.
even devil jin?
To Dark upper a whiffed electric is insane. While half focused
Man jdcr is awesome
Actual good insight on how to play the game. Unlike tmm who thinks he even knows his main and can’t give advice really on how to beat any character. His poor poor fans
Love this

Bro can you make guide for stone cold stunner
I understood "oh shit!" and that's all.
Whiff punish electrics, make the Mishima player regret moving forward or at least get them to hesitate and take all the execution away by interruptions and what I call "electric starving"
1:13 your clown shoes, sir
I gotta whiff punish electrics? Well, thanks...
11:03
Electrics have an 11f startup animation and are -23 on whiff so assuming he could see the beginning of the animation on frame one JDCR had 20-4(input delay on pc)=16 frames to react with a 14f(triple just frame) dark upper.
INSANE
The thing is at that range you don't need to guess between options. You only need to register that there is a start-up of the move and it gonna whiff. Then it's basically a reaction test with pressing a button on the right moment. I tested my reaction moments ago average result is 230 ms. ~14 frames. Some of attempts were faster (13 to 12) and I'm not even close to be a robot (competitive player) like jdcr. I'm sure he has enough time not only to react on potential whiffing move but recognise it to some degree in case of baiting with jabs or dash
@@slowboke True, but he still confirmed that it wasn't a jab (which could have followups and counter his punish attempt) but an electric and punished accordingly.
24 frames recovery, not 23.
Dude. Mishimas are pretty easy to understand. Give us tips on how to beat negan or Marduk lol.
특유의 썸넬 겁나 웃기네요ㅋㅋㅋ
my 🧠 multitasking right now
did you take revenge on knee's geese recently and won with armor king???
Red Bull Kumite, I believe. I’ll let you watch the results but JDCR has a video on that, I think
I think Devil Jin is probably the perfect character that represents Tekken itself, good lows, good mids, good highs, strong pressure, insane 50/50, crazy mixup, and good keepouts and panic moves. Only way to counter him is to sidestep left but ws2 and ff4 catches sidesteppers. So maybe the only true counter is to know the players playstyle
2:52 why rage art did so little damage
Because Devil Jin was in mid air, so the damage is scaled.
Low parry started the combo which scales down a lot of damage
Use steve. U kill all mishima

Guys please i have a question i will be so happy if you answer me i played tekken 6 survival mode with Marshall law I won 60 match and in tekken tag tournament 2 I played again with Marshall law solo survival mod I also win 65 match and now I'm playing tekken 7 with the same character and I'm getting better with Marshall law so the question is I'm strong or average or weak or I keep going like this
Playing vs. AI opponents won't make you a stronger player vs. real people...
Bots don't sidestep, don't know combos, don't punish and attack with completely random patterns. They are very easy to beat if you just spam long-range moves and abuse the wakeup system.
@@bookbagman7012 did you understand what I said I know how to use Marshall law even his combos like every moves and combos I know it but your wrong in a point you said when you play against bots won't make you stronger dude you forget about diffrent difficult easy and medium and hard, ultra hard I used to play against bots ultra hard so that's diffrent
I haven’t played tekken since a long time man
You probably sleep well at Night huh
why you here man
devil pigeon
The subtitles are hard to read due to the Korean layered behind it from the video
You can increase the background opacity of the subtitles so the korean subs are completely covered.
0:17 why don't DVJ players use this move after screws?
I'm guessing that the recovery after b2,1 is not as good as the usual enders. Strictly for wall and floor break.
only reason they do it at the wall because the second hit unscales
Ewgf gives good oki and is more reliable to execute. But this move is also very good for oki so I'm guessing the reason is personal preference I've also noticed that you have to get a very proper dash to make the last hit connect after a long screw which can be hard for people and it's also harder to do than an electric
You are -4 after a heaven gate knock down so in open field unless it’s gonna kill you give up positional advantage
It’s way better to do other things and go for oki
Ewgf leaves you +25 on wake up and puts them in a terrifying situation compared to that ender and the damage isn’t that great as a open field ender only at the wall. Only if it kills
2:40 fun more important than winning to tgis dvj
Thought you gave up King 🧐🤔 he seems low tier
4:06 what was that all about
hi
типсы просто збс, все понятно
Kazuya and Heihachi is not broken, they are flawed, Devil Jin however, has an answer for everything, he is great at everything basically has no weaknesses. You don't counter Devil Jin, you counter the player.
And as a Lee player, I'm always having a trouble dealing with DVJ even though the player itself is not really that good. The character just carrying them
@@sooya1329 one tip I can give you as a fellow Lee player vs mishimas, abuse the shit out of ff4, it can cleanly go under and evade electrics if you time it right, and launches them if you can combo from it with b33 pick up. It makes them not mindlessly spam electrics and use their brain a bit more. Also magic 4 is great vs people who like to wavedash and try mixing you up, Also Lee has a good punch parry for the last hit of the laser scraper string.
@@Silvers_7 one of my main problem with DVJ is his range which lee can't reach sometimes, it actually pisses me off lol
I ain't got no problem against Kazuya or even Hei but damn DVJ man.
Just nerf ewgf
4:05 How The Fvck??!
How tf is he playing with one hand as he's explaining stuff at 4:25? Shit is wild.
Why do I feel like this is mocking qudans? 😂

What are Koreans calling Mishimas other than Mishima? The "mains"? The "family"? The "beginners"?
풍신류 (poong-shin-ryu or wind god style) is the Korean word for Mishimas
@@bookbagman7012 ah I see. Thanks for answering.
