Great match- just wanted to elaborate on the 'how do sponsors make money?' question. Generally sponsors don't take a cut of prize money-that's all for the player. The sponsors make money by turning the players into a walking advertising board. Sponsors will secure deals with monitor brands, peripheral brands, betting companies so on and so forth and then put them on the players Jersey, make the player put them on a stream overlay. Basically whatever they can do to make it so that when people look at the player they see the brand. This allows the brand to grow as its being advertised to that community and it allows the sponsors to pay salary to players and fly them out to events.
Of course this may be different depending on the team but this is generally how it works

Yes, and it's so natural to him that sometimes he forgets other people can't. He isn't throwing it out of aggression, he just tries to hand it over for someone else to hold while he goes have a little brawl with his buddy.(It is my headcanon that Marduk is somewhat a big child at heart. Dunno, he just radiates this innocent joy of bouting, like when does his little giggly victory dance. And I know he was in prison for murder. But still, innocent manchild in the best sense. max damage for most of his vts cancel combos are typically the b12 enders. in that case, max damage would be: CHdb2, fc d1+2, 12, vts cancel, 12, vts cancel, 12, vts cancel, b12. it's 4 extra damage over the ff1+2 enders, but the grab gives better oki, i believe.
Honestly I heard somewhere that armored king was loosely based on WCW star sting and that's why he has the brawling style more than a technical wrestling style to represent the no dq backstage style fights that happened in American wrestling in the 90s while king was supposed to represent the more technical japanese wrestling along with tiger masks high-flying luchador styles but it could have just been a rumor that got spreed around when I was a kid

What's weird about JDCR not being "out there" is that he's a part of the Tekken scene so much that he's a part of Tekken, period. A Tekken **anything** without JDCR doesn't even feel right. It's like a night sky without stars. He's just a part of the scenery, he's a part of the scene. It's a little off. Everyone's heard of him and talks about him like he's everyone's uncle. He seems to have more presence than even sponsored players imo. Is that just me?

just a little note, jdcr wasn't sure of the matchup difference here on the ch b+1 conversion. it's actually much easier on marduk however the timing is different, you have to press 3+4 immediately.

I use b2 a lot. The problem is I also lose my turn a lot. But then again I am not one for pressuring
I used to use b2 a lot, but I rarely do now, you really need to be at the perfect range to use it, if you're too far it's easy to whiff and super punishable, if you're too close then it's very easy to interrupt, if your spacing is good then it's a good move though.

Guys, how do I break marduks tackle? I have a friend who really likes to use it.
press 1+2 before the tackle connects you , if you get hit by the tackle press 1 if marduk use the left arm or 2 for the right arm , you need good reflexes.

wait, you said sponsors make money from 10-15% of the players' tournament winnings? the players only get a few thousand at most in 1st place. supposing rox paid for both knee's and chanel's tickets, if knee gets first place, the company would at most profit a little bit. but wait, since they have to pay for hotel as well for 2 players x 3 days, they would basically make no money. if knee/chanel doesn't win every tournament, the company would be at a deficit. are you sure that is how the company gets paid?
and what about uyu who is sponsoring many players? they can't be making any money from 10-15% of the players' prize money.
do they make money from broadcasting rights? but does tekken make money on stream? is it broadcasted on TV? where is the money coming from?
in fact, if they do make money somehow from broadcasts, that would mean the players also get paid and thus they will earn money even if they don't win prize money, right?
