Working on a cedar slab myself, and this is the perfect video I needed right now.
Don’t have the money to get the router sled just yet, but it’s really cool to see your end product.

That router sled really makes a big difference, but you can certainly achieve great results without it! I appreciate you checking out my channel!

You’re very welcome! Thanks for the compliment on the shop, it definitely took a number of years to get it to where it is now!

i built a 6ft epoxy river table out of walnut. now the problem for me is... how do i sell it? cost me 1800 in materials. what are some advice and tips on selling big high end items?

I ran into the same problem, basically spending a lot of time creating things I thought people would buy only to find them unsold months later. My best advice would be to create the high end products only when there’s a buyer and you custom build it just for them according to what they want. This way you know it will be sold in the end and you can get money up front for the materials. For the table you already made I would recommend FB marketplace to sell it if that’s an option where you live.

It's not rare to me buying such a big slabs like this one, but I usually cut it down in 20" slices and then split it in thin planks for making small boxes. Life is so strange.

Life is definitely strange haha I’ve milled large slabs down for something as small and thin as a picture frame so I get it. However when you get to leave a slab in its full form it’s a good day 😎

    Please wear dust protection????

Dust collection is important to me as well as dust protection. The dust collection was preforming so well that there was hardly any dust being airborne!
