I really enjoy your side stories. There's the book info and then there's the "real world" practical info. I really love how you explain things. A instructor that has been in the fight for a very long time has an awful amount of knowledge to share. I've been a tech for 15 years but I'm having trouble finding out "real world" info. I'm looking for check list on diagnosing engines. Misfire checklist, Ignition checklist, etc. Tests and trouble shooting that you apply methodically every time.
I watch these videos from Denmark. I am a amateur hobby mechanic and This is some of the best videos i have found on cars.. Love his real World historys :)
dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can watch all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend for the last months xD
1996 ford ranger crank no start..low fuel pressure...fuses tested good with a test light. Viltage at pump low 7 v...wiring perfect....pulled the fuel pump fuse for visual and found it was "almost" blown...some browning and melting...would start sometimes but run rough. Used connector file cleaned up fuse connector and replaced fuse....ran perfect good fuel pressure...2 hours digging.
When you have voltage drop, always follow the circuit back. If youd have done that, and checked your fuse with a meter, more than likely, youd have found battery voltage on one side and your 7v on the other side. Test lights can get you in trouble sometimes, as you learned.
hey is it normal where the PCV valve is if i take it off and stick my finger inside the valve cover port where the pcv valve was there is like burned oil inside of it ???
