Those ASE qual numbers are insane. I spent 10 yrs in US Navy Submarines as a Reactor Operator, the rest as Hardware Design Eng in Silicon Valley and had a wrench in my hand since I was 4 with my Dad hot rodding as all returning Vets did after WWII. Im bored in retirement and spend most my time repairing anything and everything on mine, and friends cars and many many engine rebuilds. I should just get certified and get paid for having fun all at the same time.
Hello, thank you, excellent information, I would like you to give us one of the L1ASE thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience and for your time
Thank you for watching, we do get many shops who bring us their problem cars. Sadly many don't want to pay our diagnostic fee, they try to negotiate a price, and even when I offer them the training they'll turn that down also. We had one recently car had long crank, lack of power. The shop that brought it to us replaced, engine, transmission and ran the same. Brought it to us and we pretty much had 95% of the diagnostic done in the parking lot. It had a restricted exhaust. The shop owner flipped out on me, as if I told him to replace an engine and transmission for a plugged cat. I am working really hard to change this mindset in our industry.
@@MasterAutomotiveTraining both I have a opportunity to rent a shop 3.bay and a smog but I'm not sure I should get certified here in CA, or wait until I get to GA.
This guy is Wild! Man you talk as much shit as I do, could only imagine what it's like working in a shop with you anyway I'm watching this vid to touch up on reading that boring ass book for my A8. Do you have any for A9? That's the one I'm scared of
Passed this bad boy 39/50 and it was heavy on diagrams. Less than A6 but still a lot of electrical. Goodluck all.

If you are certified in California and move to another state.. do you have to recertify everything
are you referring to just ASE? Or CA inspector and emission technician license?
