    Thank you for the visual aids and explanations- I can comprehend what I'm reading but it makes it so much easier to retain it if I have picture/video

    Excellent material! Always enjoy the lessons.
    On a side note - there is also a W configuration - although not very widely used. Mainly european supercars.

    This video is awesome, excellent material, and good information regardless of ones experience level.
    Thanks for what you are doing here. I cannot tell you how much your videos help those of us who are in the field and cannot afford to work part time and attend college level courses like yours.
    Even though a lot of this type of stuff is review for me and fairly straight forward material, there is always something I seem to learn or pickup from your material that helps me become a better technician on a daily basis.

    those gaskets and seals belong to a subaru :D specifically a turbo-ed subaru 2.5l :D

    the part where he says that puff of smoke on idle means faulty valve seals is probably right but the ase 1 test says its piston ring failure

      That's an ASE test question that I would have missed because I know better. When the oil seeps past leaking valve stem seals and it collects in the cylinder it causes that blue puff of smoke on first start. Piston rings will not do that.
