I have cured me diabetes after suffering from it for 15 years, in just 10 days by adopting this easy life style. Also I cured my high blood pressure effortlessly in 14 days, after 3 weeks of eating correctly I am off all 8 prescriptions. My A1C blood glucose levels are 5.3 perfect, my blood pressure is 112/68, my cholesterol was 268 on meds in 6 weeks it is now 136, I lost 90lbs in 6 months and my arthritis pain, acne is gone

IW Nunn lots of people following his diet and reversing their diabetes and high blood pressure because they think it's too extreme and restrictive to maintain a diet that causes and supports chronic diseases which are preventable. Heart disease is restrictive. Eating healthy is freedom.

Some of us are so deeply embedded in denial that we do not want to be told that what we are eating is at the core of our obesity, ill health, and addictions. So be it, but closing one's mind to possibilities perpetuates the very human condition that led us here in the first place, Why not just try the McDougall diet and see what happens. I lost 35 pounds, and I love cooking and eating more than I ever have, and best of all I can eat as much as I like and my weight is rock solid at 154-156 lbs. Thank you Dr. McDougall for your service to humanity.

Another excellent presentation. It's nice to see a doctor speaking out against the medical industrial complex. Sadly people wont really act on his message because it isn't profitable. Pushing potatoes isn't as profitable as pushing pills. Suggesting starches isn't as profitable as suggesting surgery. My dad had a heart attack in his 60's. He had heart surgery and takes a whole slew of pills. However he hasn't done much to change his lifestyle. He still loves his cheeses, salami, and other processed junk. At this point with him developing Alzheimer's I don't think there is much hope in convincing him to change.

I have told myself to eat this way for a year and just see what happens. I do not take drugs haven't in many years. I have had 2 heart attacks back 20 years ago. Was stented and still do not take meds. I have lived the organic food lifestyle and still have not lost weight. Now I am on day 32 of McDougalling and have lost 25 pounds. I do not eat meat, or oil of any kind. I owe it to myself to eat healthy to do the best I can do for my body. I have tried every diet known to man and for the first time ever I am not hungry, loosing weight and have felt better than I have in 40 years. Arthritic pain just about gone. Blood pressure is 109 over 60, I know my blood work is probably better but am going to have it checked at the 6 week point.
Now, I don't have ANY heartburn since I started McDougalling and I do not have a gallbladder. I have suffered with heartburn for 25 years. Taking out my gallbladder did not help still had heartburn every nite. Since day one of McDougalling heartburn gone. I am convinced it is the food the standard American diet I was eating that caused all my health problems. Thank you Dr. McDougall you are an honest man who cares about others health.

Dr. McDougall has my up most respect. He's part of a very small group of accomplished physicians in this country that see the big picture. Anyone that works in health care know that most of the people they see are causing their own problems, there are exceptions, but most of them could all be reversed if they switched to a low fat vegan diet and exercise.

Thank you, Dr. Mcdougall! I received a high total cholesterol reading at 191 and with high triglycerides and low HDL, that ratio was bad, for me. So, I went on the Mcdougall diet about 3 weeks later, and after 9 more weeks I got a blood test: total cholesterol was 131! This might not work for everybody but it worked for me. Weight is down 19 pounds in 3 months. I have a healthy weight, and it continues to drop gradually.
William Castelli director of the Framingham heart study, (you-tube video 'Food That Kills - Full Documentary", @ 13:30 ) said he has never seen a heart attack any anybody with a cholesterol of less than 150. Ellsworth Wareham, a cardiothoracic surgeon with over 50 years of experience stated in the UA-cam video 'Dr. Ellsworth Wareham - 98 years old vegan', says Very, very seldom do people have coronary artery disease or coronary occlusion with cholesterol under 140. Reducing saturated fat reduces cholesterol. The best way to reduce saturated fat is to go vegan. He also says people are very sensitive about what they eat.

Low fat meats aren't really "low fat." Low fat in what McDougall and others like him recommend it being between 10-15% of daily caloric intake with carbs being the majority. It's still full of cholesterol too, doesn't digest in humans, and has no fiber or carbs. That's the short answer.

He never ever changes his talks! This all observations associations which omits numerous confounders. One ,is the first generation probably ate little sugars if any. Biblical references negates any of the science . He then is just given truths which is not science. Historical the Egyptian diets of the biblical era are equivalent to the modern American diet and had the same bad outcomes !
Well any one can do N=1 study too! If one watches enough UA-cam videos on diets or reads enough articles, one will hear contradicting views, most having their own peer reviewed papers to support their claims. Although the LCHF presenters have a much stronger case based on actual data .
The conclusion I've come to is whatever works for the individual, do that. Keep a log of one's diet and weight to track changes over time. I also take my heart rate first thing in the morning, I've found it's a good indicator of a negative food reaction.
For me no grains, they make me sick, no refined sugar and single ingredient foods! I have done 40-45% carbs, 35-45% fats and the remaining percentage proteins! I initially lost 40 lbs and maintained a lose of 35 lbs , and all blood chemistry problems resolved! Blood pressure went from 125/80 to 110/70 .
    Recently I tried a LCHF(60% fats ,

David if you were to say that to those in Israel who have preserved the Jewish writings for thousands of years what do you think they would say? It’s clear if you do any research on Bible texts that the accuracy and historical accuracy of the texts is far above anything else that exists. Historical accuracy tests that were completed by men like Fredric KENYON who is an expert in historical documents says the opposite to you. Are you saying you know more than Mr KENYON. Btw he is not a Christian
