+J Cooper omg! I actually love doing that, but with this piece the inside was a little blegh too. I'll have to show you guys the Lorenza wallet I did and kept the inside the original color. It's sooo pretty. It's the wallet I'm currently using.
You did such a great job on the wallet and explained it so easily! It's absolutely beautiful now. I wasn't crazy for the pink either would rather have it black too.
YES, WHEN ITS THAT TYPE OF UGLY PINK COLOUR ITS BETTER TO HAVE IT BLACK. I WOULDNT EVEN CLASS THAT AS PINK. ID CALL IT A CORAL COLOUR OR LIGHT BROWN. NOT MY COLOUR AT ALL. NOW IF IT WAS HOT PINK THEN ID LOVE THAT COLOUR. I ONLY LIKE PRETTY PINKS BUT NOT BROWNISH PINKS.
Thanks Adrian you are my hero the woman in the Leather shop freaked out when I told her I was dying a Prada bag but I'm halfway through and thanks to your wonderful videos on handle Repair re-shaping and dying it will look fantastic when finished I know so glad I found you
I am glad you have your "disclaimer" about dying a Chanel bag or accessory. The people in the repair department at Chanel's store on East 57 h Street told me that once a bag is dyed it is no longer authentic in their eyes and they won't do any work on it for you such as changing your chain straps. I had a good shoe repair guy dye the body of a vintage 80s tote but it was too hard for him to do the straps so I took it into the Chanel store and they refused to do it. My bag was originally a cream color and looked very dirty. I decided to just wear it as it is. I wish that they would offer dying services themselves.
One of the smartest DIY projects I've seen ! Well done! I'm of the school of thought that you can paint anything, I pained a Louie Chair, fabric and all, and it turned out amazing, and you can sit on it, nothing comes off. So now, I'm thinking about what I can dye. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Nicole! Yes! You can totally use a sealant as well for added protection and if you want to change the finish, but if your dye is self finishing, just a good buffing after dying and letting it dry, will do the job
Can I do this for Coach. Actually not the entire bag. I just wanna colour the leather coach applique flower attached to the bag. It is orange and I wanna change it to black
This was satisfying to watch. Thanks for sharing those products and techniques. I thought the inner pink lid looked so cute, so I’m going to leave my the original color.
There is an add on FB using parts of this video to promote other product to change the leather color... fancyberrie Leather Recoloring Balm... Hadrian you might want to take a look.
I really want to thank you for those inspiring tutorial. Now I see damaged/old item very differently. I can already tell that this will be a major change in my life
Hello! I don't think faux/synthetic leather will hold onto the dye as well as regular leather. You can use acrylic leather paint on synthetic leather and that will adhere nicely.
Hi I have a Prada medium saffiano lux tote in pink color(petalo) used just couple of times I want to color it black can you please tell the products to use for it and which of your video I should follow to do that plus the interior fabric is pink too which I want in red if that’s not possible then black. Will really appreciate your help. Ps you are doing a great job. Love the way you reply to everybody and try to help them which is rare keep it up👍🏻
omg thanks for doing this video i also bought a chanel wallet that's beat up to hell for an extremely good price and want to dye it from biege to black!
Thank you for your DIY VDO. Enjoy watching it a lot, never know that we can DIY leather dye. Now you inspire me to dye my old Chanel WOC from dirty salmon color (pink) to black. But I'm not sure which type of dye should I use : leather dye or suede. I didn't remember what type of the leather it is, it feels like suede caviar though. Thanks in advance for your help.
+Thanyaporn Madden oh perfect! Regular leather is so much easier to dye than suede or nubuck. Yeah! Just use the leather preparer and then the angelus dye and you're good to go 😊
Hi Ester! For caviar you can do the same technique, or you can use angelus acrylic paint. Just make sure to use even application because you can lose a little of the texture from caviar when using acrylic paint. There's actually a paint thinner by angelus that you can use on the paint. That may make application a little more stress free and will allow for a more even application.
Hi Hadrian, so if I want to diy, I will have to start with the preparer, followed by dyeing it. leave it dry, and to finish it by polishing my wallet with the conditioner. Correct?
+John Szymanski omg. Don't worry. I was SO scared when I did my wallet, but it came out a million times better than I thought. Don't worry, if I can do it, you can do it and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. And before and after photos would be awesome to see. ❤️❤️❤️ I love a good re-dye rehab.
Hi can u dye any type of purse material? I have blush pink 100% polyurethane purse with vinyls trim but it has faded patent ink on it and it's ruined 😣
Ok so I just brought a new MK bag I wanted it in black so bad but the store only had a navy blue one. Im thinking to dye it black. Do you suggest using the dye on a new bag? Will it still have that new look on it? Also is there any way you can change the silver hardware of the bag to hold without making it look tacky? Also is this dye permanent?
Thank u hadrian! I was thinking of buying a gucci bag that was perfect on the outside but fading in the leather inside the bag... this video will hopefully help me repair it :)
This was awesome! I have been debating doing this to my vintage Fendi Maxi Baguette. I am going to test it on the leather on the inside of the bag first and then do the entire thing! I am so nervous but very excited to get this going. Great video! Thank you for showing us how easy it can be to spruce up old vintage designer items!
Looks so good! I have a question.. I used this same dye for my black Chanel bag but it turned my bag a gross black with a gold /brown tinge to it :( Any idea why? or what I can do?
Do you have any experience with color transfer on patent leather? I have a pink Chanel patent leather and would love to know what you would do. ❤️ your videos!
+Colleen Lindwall hi Colleen! Thank you so much! I'm so happy you enjoy the videos. As far as color transfer on patent leather. That's touch territory unfortunately. Due to the nature of Patent leather, when color transfers onto it, the lacquer that sits on top of the leather kind of pulls it into itself, which makes it very hard to remove. If it is new you may be able to use rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover. You may use it still and at least lighten the transferred color, but there's no guarantee any of it will be removed. You may be able to just dye the entire bag black, but that's a horse of a different color, lol. Have you tried bringing your bag to Chanel and see if there's anything heh can do at the chanel spa? I'm so sorry I couldn't be of more help, though for the future, you can condition your bag and it can help protect your bag from color transfer. And help prevent cracking and wrinkling of the patent.
Have you experienced any color rub off or faded? I just bought a used purple Gucci wallet (without looking at the color listing) and now want to dye it black, but afraid that the dye would rub off onto everything in the purse. Thank you
Hi @itsHadrian, does the color stays long, it didnt fade or transfer color when u used it? Cuz im planning to recolor my prada deerskin bag, u think the one that u used will work with my bag if i used it? Thank u soo much, badly needed :) loved ur videos :)
+eyah magbojos hi! No problem at all still look perfect since I dyed it last year. And it should work on any smooth leathers. Just don't use this dye on suede or nubuck. You need a special dye for those.
itsHadrian ohhh nice, thank you soo much! Its a big help, im just waiting for my dye to arrived then ill start recoloring my bag. Thank u again itsHadrian
Hi! I bought a Chanel LAMBSKIN flap in beige that was redyed like a darker beige. It honestly feels like paint on the surface and its flaking. Have you ever tried removing dye and redying a bag?? Help
HI!!! It sounds like when they redyed it they didn't use a good dye and/or didn't prep the leather before dying. This happened to be before when I used a brand called tarago. Anyway, you can definitely redye it if you like. All you have to do is use angelus leather preparer and deglaze. That will remove all the surface dyes and prep the leather to accept the new dye. Then you can pretty much dye it whatever you like since the leather is light already. I suggest using Angelus. Also, make sure to buy a new formula for the dye. Just make sure to purchase the dye directly from Angelus. I just go through Amazon because there's prime shipping, which is super convenient. Anyway, hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope this helps!
+itsHadrian thanks so much! I will look into the Angelus brand :) I've sent out pics to a local leather handbag restoration centre so we'll see how much they quote me! If it's crazy I'm gonna follow in your footsteps and diy. I am curious if the LAMBSKIN will ever be close to being 'normal' again. 😔
Hi! yeah, a lot of the time the handbag restoration places are expensive, but if they're good and reputable then it's worth it. Unless you're going to dye it black. Because that's super easy. If you did want it the original color then it may be easier for them to match for you since matching dye color is a little more tricky than mixing acrylic paints. As for the lambskin, it may be fine. It's just sitting under that cracking layer waiting to be brought back out.
+itsHadrian omg it's going to be $525+13% tax Canadian to refurbish. So after its done I would have spent $1600 on a Chanel flap with authenticity card. I guess still a good deal but dunno what I should do!
+K Nuhwen yeah, that's so expensive to have redone professionally. If it were me, I would redo the bag myself... though you should do whatever you're most comfortable with...
I had a pink balenciaga with gold HW that I dyed black, with two brands: Tarrago and Fiebing's... I did a great job but unfortunately, there has been so much colour transfer on my clothes!!! did you notice any colour transfer using this brand? Thanks and GREAT JOB !!
+Cindy Sarah hi!! I remember seeing a video once when someone dyed their Balenciaga with fiebings first, then used tarrago after since it's a self shining. She didn't seem to have any problems with color transfer. I actually bought the tarrago once, just to try it out and just try it as a touch up and it was not my favorite. It did have color transfer and it was peeling and flaking off even though I used the leather preparer it came with and didn't layer it on like crazy. It was also really streaky. I don't know. Maybe it was a bad batch or an old formula? Anyway, I have since then switched to angelus, which is amaaazing and none of the bags or wallets I have dyed have had any problems with color transfer. You may want to try over with your bag and get the angelus deglazer and dye. It should stop all the color transfer. You could probably also go the route of using a topcoat if you're good with the color. That may prevent color transfer. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have further questions. Good luck! ❤️👜❤️👜❤️👜
What an incredible answer :) thank you so much for all those details, and for your great advices :) will definitively try on my vintage Chanel !! Thanks again and keep it up :D Xx
I don’t know if you still have this wallet but I’m interested to know if the dye stood the test of time. I’m considering dying my Chanel wallet black. It’s a darker pink however. Lmk!
he did a really good job on that wallet could you dye shoes like that to leather shoes but I like the pink to like the lady down below but I like black too because it goes with everything but you did good really good
+Vanessa Darnell thank you! And yes! Pretty much anything leather you can dye just like this from handbags to shoes to belts and jackets! Just make sure to use the right dyes.
Oh no! Was the bag rested recently or is this a factory dyed bag and it’s doing that? Either way, you can purchase a clear coat for the bag and it will put a layer over the dye and prevent it from transferring. Angelus brand is my fave.
itsHadrian can you link an angelus one I should use if I want to have a conditioned natural type finished I don’t want anything overly shiny, I recently dyed my Tory Burch sandals
Hi, I just found your channel and was wondering if you've ever done decoupage on vintage leather bags? I bet they'd turn out great since you're so good at dying them.
Im dying a pink bag black so the title of this vid had me like Oh Perfect. And, AND WE'RE NAME BUDDIES? (I dont have the H, you win) Thanks for the great step by step 💕
I dyed my Tory Burch sandals with the angus jet black and I conditioned with kiwi conditioning oil but the dye still comes off a bit on my hands so I haven’t been able to wear them
Hi there, Pink is not my color either! ; ) Soooo I have this exact same shade of pink as your Chanel wallet in lambs 100% genuine leather & it's a jacket from the gap- I want to use the same Angelus brand as you are using but in a light brown shade. Do you believe that I can use the same exact method as you have as long as I use bigger daubers or a sponge since it's a coat with a way bigger surface & the same products that you have used here and have a success? So hard to find leather jacket dye tutorials on youtube -they are all about painting not dyeing. Yours was one of the best vids I found.
I used Fiebings and Tarrago on my Givenchy Pandora (dyed it black) but it has this purple-ish metallic sheen in daylight and I can't stand it. I know now that Fiebings is to blame and unfortunately the Tarrago coating chips off. :( should I try again with Angelus? Please help senpai
+samizzle hi! Omg. Yes. All those things happened to me too when I used those two dyes. And you should! Though I suggest getting some of the angelus leather preparer and deglazer to get all the other stuff of. Especially since tarrago is a self shining dye so it makes like a over coat film thing when it dries. This way all that other gunk will be taken off and you can start fresh with the angelus dye. All the links for those products are in the description box of all my videos. Also, buy the angelus leather dye fresh from Amazon. If you buy anywhere else there is a chance that it's the old formula which has a metallic purple sheen as well. So I recommend going through Amazon which sells directly from angelus. Hope this helps! Let me know how it turns out if you end up doing this!
Hi! No, when the dye is dry there should be no color transfer. As long as you prep the leather properly before dying the dye should stay steadfast without any color transfer. Angelus brand dye is my favorite.
Hi! This is so awesome! I was wondering if this would work on a pebbled leather purse? Also, I was wondering about if the dye gets wet. For instance if it rains would the dye drip or rub onto clothing? Thanks!
Hi! You can definitely also use this technique on pebbled leather no problem. And nope, if it gets wet it shouldn't rub off on clothing. Once it's completely dry the color should hold steadfast. Just make sure to use a good leather dye
+Carlos Ibarra I was hoping you'd say caviar. With the caviar the treatment of the leather is extremely similar to painting it with acrylic paint. So if you can find an acrylic leather paint in the same color or you can custom match the color yourself, you'll be good to go.
I would have loved keeping all the pink on the inside.
And ps I loveeeeee the outcome!!!
+J Cooper omg! I actually love doing that, but with this piece the inside was a little blegh too. I'll have to show you guys the Lorenza wallet I did and kept the inside the original color. It's sooo pretty. It's the wallet I'm currently using.
+J Cooper ❤️❤️❤️ thank you!
It would remind me of Blackpink (Kpop)
He Did.
So surprised you went around the logo on the inside.. that was impressive!
Lol, I like to live dangerously.
Watching the painting process is very therapeutic! 😊
I think if you go over with the dye in a different direction it will help to prevent streaks,
Totally! Actually circular motion is the best. Clockwise and counter clockwise. 💛
I ONLY LIKE PRETTY PINKS BUT NOT BROWNISH PINKS.

it would be cool to see this done on more designer I would definitely purchase one
Check out my handbag rehab playlist. I have a bunch of videos like this 😊💛
You are the coolest thing ever! Great job on the wallet.
Thank you so much!!!
OMG, I LOVE YOU! This is the easiest-to-follow video I found to dye leather! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omg! What a compliment!! Thank you so much!!! 💛💛💛💛 let me know how you’re project turns out! 😊

"we are ready to dye" yassss! love your vids!!
Hahahaha, Yessssssssss
Wow! You did a fabulous job! I am learning SO MUCH from your videos!
Yay! Thank you! That is such an awesome compliment. I'm glad you're learning
Thank you! I will!
I would have made the interior red, as the older black Chanel bags are dyed. Awesome job!
Well done. I've seen some one do this but they used a finishing coat the same brand as your dye. However the conditioner worked too lol good job
Hi Nicole! Yes! You can totally use a sealant as well for added protection and if you want to change the finish, but if your dye is self finishing, just a good buffing after dying and letting it dry, will do the job
Thanks mate! I need to bring my wife's beloved wallet back to life. This info will come in handy!
Can I do this for Coach. Actually not the entire bag. I just wanna colour the leather coach applique flower attached to the bag. It is orange and I wanna change it to black
You totally can. Jus the careful not to get the dye on anything else.
This was satisfying to watch. Thanks for sharing those products and techniques. I thought the inner pink lid looked so cute, so I’m going to leave my the original color.

I really want to thank you for those inspiring tutorial. Now I see damaged/old item very differently. I can already tell that this will be a major change in my life
Omg! That's all I want to hear! That's so awesome :-) Thank you!!!
Nice work!! Are you able to put conditioner over the leather itself after the paint??
Do you have a vid on the hot pink restore inside a chanel cambon? or would you need to dye black to fix a smudge. Ive used your tips! Great results!
Awesome! Can I do the same with faux/synthetic leather??
Hello! I don't think faux/synthetic leather will hold onto the dye as well as regular leather. You can use acrylic leather paint on synthetic leather and that will adhere nicely.
Thank you 🌹
Hi I have a Prada medium saffiano lux tote in pink color(petalo) used just couple of times I want to color it black can you please tell the products to use for it and which of your video I should follow to do that plus the interior fabric is pink too which I want in red if that’s not possible then black. Will really appreciate your help. Ps you are doing a great job. Love the way you reply to everybody and try to help them which is rare keep it up👍🏻
So far, you've only used the dye. When do you use the paint you showed earlier?
omg thanks for doing this video i also bought a chanel wallet that's beat up to hell for an extremely good price and want to dye it from biege to black!
Awesome, I am looking to dye a pair of bottega shoes. This was helpful
I believe this is lambskin leather right? Do you think this is possible with caviar leather too?
Excellent. I have a tired old Gucci that needs a new life. What is the brand of dye you used?
Thank you for your DIY VDO. Enjoy watching it a lot, never know that we can DIY leather dye. Now you inspire me to dye my old Chanel WOC from dirty salmon color (pink) to black. But I'm not sure which type of dye should I use : leather dye or suede. I didn't remember what type of the leather it is, it feels like suede caviar though. Thanks in advance for your help.
+Thanyaporn Madden suede caviar? Does it get lighter or darker when you rub your fingers back and forth on it?
I was wrong. It's not suede. It's a soft caviar.
+Thanyaporn Madden oh perfect! Regular leather is so much easier to dye than suede or nubuck. Yeah! Just use the leather preparer and then the angelus dye and you're good to go 😊
The wallet is super pretty! I'd never have the guts to dye my own chanel, but the results are sooo nice.
Hello, ItsHadrian what would you suggest for caviar wallet? Really want to try what you did, thank you!
I need to paint the handle of Louis Vuitton cream empriente. Do you have any suggestions on colors? Do I need to use a leather dye?
You do an amazing job!
Thank you Victoria! 💛💛💛
Does this products works on a crossgrain leather bag as well? Im eager to dye my sling bag to black as well. Please give some advise🥺🥺
Would you recommend this to deepen a black Chanel caviar GTS that looks a little grayish?
Hi Hadrian, so if I want to diy, I will have to start with the preparer, followed by dyeing it. leave it dry, and to finish it by polishing my wallet with the conditioner. Correct?
If I buy Angelus Leather Dye, how much (how many bottles) do I need for dying a large tote (16x14x3)?
Hi do you recommend using an acrylic finisher in either satin or high gloss after the dye and conditioning?
I have the same wallet, but in a bigger size. I'm definitley going to try it!
+PriscilliaElviera yay! You have to let me know how it turns out 😊
Hi, could you do a video on how to recolor or restore Prada Nylon bags please?
I did mine because of this video. I keep learning because of your video. Thank you❤
HI! Amazing! When you compare it to an original black chanel bag does it look the same? I want to do this!!!
+John Szymanski hi! Yes, I think the final finished product definitely looks very similar.
Thank you! I am going to try it on a white chanel purse! I am scared, but after I watched your video I think I might be able to do it!
How do I add pictures?
Hi can u dye any type of purse material? I have blush pink 100% polyurethane purse with vinyls trim but it has faded patent ink on it and it's ruined 😣
Instead of the Cadillac Boot & Shoe Care can we use Renapur Leather Balsam (it's a conditioner)?
Great vid by the way

+hurleycutie142 yayyy!!!! Definitely let me know if you have questions and I'd love to know how it turns out. Perhaps a before and after photo? ❤️❤️❤️
i sent u an email... i just have a couple questions to ask before i purchase!
Hey!! Love your Videos!! I have a question!!! Is it necessary to condition the bag previous dying any leather bag!?
This was awesome! I have been debating doing this to my vintage Fendi Maxi Baguette. I am going to test it on the leather on the inside of the bag first and then do the entire thing! I am so nervous but very excited to get this going. Great video! Thank you for showing us how easy it can be to spruce up old vintage designer items!
Hi :-D Do you think that is also fine to use nail polish remover on a lambskin lady dior?
i so want to learn to dye and fix my leather stuffs but we dont have that brand in phil. i hope you can raffle a set plsssssssssss
Looks so good! I have a question.. I used this same dye for my black Chanel bag but it turned my bag a gross black with a gold /brown tinge to it :( Any idea why? or what I can do?
Hi Hadrian! Is there a way to clean the inner fabric in a wallet or in a bag?
Which Tarrago leather preparer did you use?
Do you have any experience with color transfer on patent leather? I have a pink Chanel patent leather and would love to know what you would do. ❤️ your videos!

Great Job! You gave some good hints, too. Thanks!
+I Watz thank you! 😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️
I have one the shiny patent leather ...I hate the color , can it be dyed?
What color is it? Usually lighter colors are easier to dye. Unless maybe you were dying it black?
Why do you not use acrylic paint to seal the dye?
Can I use this to dye a shinny fanny pack?
Hi @itsHadrian, does the color stays long, it didnt fade or transfer color when u used it? Cuz im planning to recolor my prada deerskin bag, u think the one that u used will work with my bag if i used it? Thank u soo much, badly needed :) loved ur videos :)

hi, may I know what dye/paint to use to dye a Prada Saffiano bag? thanks in advance!
Wow that looks amazing
I'm wanting to dye my leather/ suede Edie Coach bag. Can I use the same dye?
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
What a nice job you did, very impressive! 👛 xx

+Cindy Sarah thank you! And you're very welcome ❤️ don't hesitate to message me if you have any more questions 😊😊😊 good luck with your vintage Chanel!
I don’t know if you still have this wallet but I’m interested to know if the dye stood the test of time. I’m considering dying my Chanel wallet black. It’s a darker pink however. Lmk!
Oh I totally have it and it still looks just as fabulous
Excellent! Thank you for the feedback!
what is that thing you used to shine the bag at the end??
he did a really good job on that wallet could you dye shoes like that to leather shoes but I like the pink to like the lady down below but I like black too because it goes with everything but you did good really good
+Vanessa Darnell thank you! And yes! Pretty much anything leather you can dye just like this from handbags to shoes to belts and jackets! Just make sure to use the right dyes.
but as you changed it you can not consider it as an original chanel anymore? and can't resell it for good price?
Can i use ink? because i dont have the one you use to make it black
What did you use to keep the dye from transferring, I’ve conditioned my leather but the Black continues to rub off onto my skin a bit
I wonder how many bags you do have these days and do you really carry them ?
Awesome Job! Thank you very much for teaching us how to dye leather.
Hi, I just found your channel and was wondering if you've ever done decoupage on vintage leather bags? I bet they'd turn out great since you're so good at dying them.
hadrian!! do you think the leather becomes more stiff and dry after a dye job?
Im dying a pink bag black so the title of this vid had me like Oh Perfect. And, AND WE'RE NAME BUDDIES? (I dont have the H, you win) Thanks for the great step by step 💕
I dyed my Tory Burch sandals with the angus jet black and I conditioned with kiwi conditioning oil but the dye still comes off a bit on my hands so I haven’t been able to wear them
Amazing job!!! I love it! Have you done a satin purse??
Hi there, Pink is not my color either! ; ) Soooo I have this exact same shade of pink as your Chanel wallet in lambs 100% genuine leather & it's a jacket from the gap- I want to use the same Angelus brand as you are using but in a light brown shade. Do you believe that I can use the same exact method as you have as long as I use bigger daubers or a sponge since it's a coat with a way bigger surface & the same products that you have used here and have a success? So hard to find leather jacket dye tutorials on youtube -they are all about painting not dyeing. Yours was one of the best vids I found.
Sooooo cool! 👍🏻 Now I know what to do when I have to dye n refresh my SLGs
where can i get brush similiar to yours or is it a specific company? thank you!
I used Fiebings and Tarrago on my Givenchy Pandora (dyed it black) but
it has this purple-ish metallic sheen in daylight and I can't stand it. I
know now that Fiebings is to blame and
unfortunately the Tarrago coating chips off.
Thanks so much for responding! Unfortunately they don't ship to my country, so I'll have a look on ebay :)
Great video👍 Oh yeah this will be my next project! Thanks for the tutorial.
Did you have issues with the dye coming off after? On your clothes etc.
This was so satisfying to watch omg
Beautiful🎉
Thank you!
do you need to treat the new color with anything to help transferring? I am going to attempt to dye one of my handbags soon. :D
Hi! No, when the dye is dry there should be no color transfer. As long as you prep the leather properly before dying the dye should stay steadfast without any color transfer. Angelus brand dye is my favorite.
@@itsHadrian Thanks so much for getting back to me! Loved the video by the way, super informative.
Looks great! You did an awesome job! 😃
Did the paint stay? I man Did it crack? Or fade away ?
Would this work on caviar leather also?
Hey Hadrian I was wondering what the difference between leather acrylic paint is??
+Carlos Ibarra hi Carlos! What do you mean? Do you mean between acrylic leather paint and leather dye?
Yeah because I bought a vintage Chanel wallet but I want to keep the pink color and I cannot find pink dye
+Carlos Ibarra is it a smooth lamb skin or is it caviar?
itsHadrian caviar
+Carlos Ibarra I was hoping you'd say caviar. With the caviar the treatment of the leather is extremely similar to painting it with acrylic paint. So if you can find an acrylic leather paint in the same color or you can custom match the color yourself, you'll be good to go.
this video was sooo relaxing and soothing to watch for some reason, haha :)
Awww, thanks! Dying handbags and wallets is actually really relaxing, lol. It's actually really therapeutic.
can you use this leather paint, on faux leather, or aka polyurethane material?
+Vané Michelle hi! Yes you can use acrylic leather paint on faux leather. Also on fabrics! But not leather dye. Only acrylic leather paints.
itsHadrian okay thank You!
