This is really interesting; I've got the Shark Spartan as well, and went into the shop to try on something new for the next one...and also came away thinking that the Shoei was the better one for my head. And of course I have a Cardo (Packtalk Bold) - great to see you explaining it, thanks!
Thanks for posting as I'm about to do the similar with a Cardo Pactalk Bold. Especially like the method using the rear compartment to hide the connections. Cheers
Hi @krusty9407, I'm writing you from Germany. I am in the same situation as you are and want to mount my Packtalk Bold to a Neotec 3. Have you been successful installing the microphone? Because mine sits more in the middle on my old Neotec I and not as far on the side as shown in the video. Thanks Matthias
Hi Matthias, I'm very happy with the way it installed in the Neotec3. The microphone fits nicely on the lefthand side and tucks away neatly in the chin area. Works perfectly. All the best.
I had to go through the same thing with my neo Tech three/peacock edge. Not only do you get the boom mic, but you do get a new glue plate. Try to get that thing as far forward as you can or it could be awkward trying to reach the controls. I'm waiting for the custom glue plate for the neo Tech three for the Palk edge. They already have one for the neo Tech 2

One thing that I did do to get more of an even stick, was I added another layer of VHT mounting tape. Heated the crap out of it so it conformed to all the nooks and crannies.
