One of the best/clear and detailed install video I have seen for those communicators. It's enough for me to go ahead and order the SRL3 for my GT-Air-3.
However, I realize that as I am installing my newly received SRL3 and Air GT 3, I realize that she skipped the few complicated parts like what do we do to run the mic cable at the leather bridge inside the chin guard... we go over or there's a way to go under?...
I've just ordered a Neotech 3 and SRL3 but I suspect it might be easier for me to learn Latin than remember those button pushes left and right... Looking forward to my endless learning curve - Ancora Imparo!
What do you mean? Simply press the plus button two times, then hold the center button for 1 second, and then it goes into pairing mode. What you then can do, is press the minus button 1 time and the other rider simply rejects your playlist sharing request by pressing the plus button for 1 second and the center button one time, and you're all set!
Please work with Cardo to make Open Mesh truly “open” for all riders. It stinks that we have to compromise on our intercoms functionality because you guys insist on keeping arbitrary proprietary connections. I really want to get this Sena intercom for my Shoei helmet because it’s so well integrated… but, all of my friends use Cardos. It’s great and all that they can connect through jumping through some hoops, but 90m of range and losing out on the full feature set of both intercoms is silly. Let us all “mesh” together and use your design and quality to drive people to buy your product. Don’t try to force an ecosystem!
Sena need to sort their act out. They only have one job. Comms! I ride with 3 other guys. We all have the latest Sena headsets. We spend loads of frustrating time before a ride, trying to get them to talk to one another. When they eventually decide they want to play together the sound is poor. Drumming, clicking, robot voices etc...Most of these issues are well documented on your official forum for over 10 years. Irony is I used use a cheap Chinese one for a few years and never had an issue. Please fix your issues and release firmware. Ohh, the app is cr&p too. Will not create a group from known paired headsets.🤬
I have previously purchased a Sena own manufactured Helmet with intercom, then an HJC helmet with Sena intercom installed. Both have left me feeling disappointed with the poor performance for the cost. I've purchased the Shoei Neotec 3 helmet. I won't be adding the Sena intercom as it is a disappointing product at any price. It promised so much, yet failed to deliver.........
Hello, I just purchased the Gt AIr 3 and SRL3. I'm trying to connect via Bluetooth the SRL3 with my previous intercom (Midland BTX1 Pro s) following the direction on the user's guida (Universal Intercom) but it does not work. Any suggestions?
If Sena intercoms break after the 24 months of warranty, they have to be thrown away in the toilet. There is no technical assistance service either from Sena or from Shoei. A real disappointment.
My friend bought the srl 3 and we wanted better coms we have been trying to connect his srl 3 to my cardo packtalk egde for 3 days and we still cant figure out how to do that over mesh. There is not a video out there that explains how to pair the 2 together at all.
Get the Cardo into BT mode and universal pairing.. Get the SRL3 into BT 2nd Phone Pairing mode - They should connect OK but you will lose all other Sena functions.. This method worked for a week in France with brilliant clarity and range
Quality is good an install overall is okay but those flimsy hooks for the mic are a bad joke.. had to use tape to keep the cable in place because it was impossible for me to hook the cable under those tiny things without breaking anything, oh and the cable is too long in a size L helmet so I need to "Store" the excess somewhere out of the canal anyway
I have a GT AIR 2 and the SRL2 and it is so frustrating to use. It never understands my accent. Just turning the try music on is an exercise in frustration. Is the SRL 3’s voice recognition any better?
@@senatechnologies thanks for your honesty, but that is a deal breaker for me. I would add it to your next model because a lot of us like hi-fi audio, and we use ear buds, and the built in speakers just don’t cut it.
I'm loving my GT-Air III and I can justify the price. But for the headset to cost what it cost.. it's a difficult pill to swallow. (It's all times 2 for me, I need it for me and my wife)
Unfortunately, the SRL 3 is a dud, voice commands don't work and SENA is not interested in providing any support to anyone with this problem. Forums suggest that there are a large number of SRL-3 units with a dud chip. A very costly and unreliable product. Buyer Beware. I note I have an original SRL-1 unit that works fine, technology upgrades dont always bring better solutions.
I'm having trouble with pausing or changing the songs, are you guys considering an update regarding to this? Because it's really crucial while I'm talking to someone nearby I want to stop music at that moment
Hi. Please contact our Customer Service department so that we can help you. You can visit community.sena.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to submit a Help Desk ticket. Thanks.
Shame on sena and shame on shoei. What to do with our srl2? Reuse, recicle? Does sena knows what it mean? Someone from sena can explain me why can’t use srl2 in gt air3? Why they change completle the design?
Hi. The SRL3 is one of our slimmest products that integrates into a helmet. We also recommend our 10R which is our slimmest model that attaches to any helmet. Thanks.
Hi. Please use Shoei's Dealer Locator page here: shoei-helmets.com/dealer-locator/ to find a retailer near you to check if they have the Neotec 3 in stock. Thanks.
Hi. We recommend contacting Arai and request that Sena makes a Bluetooth headset that integrates into their helmet similar to the way that the SRL3 integrates into Shoei's helmets. Thanks.
Hi. You can place the SRL3 into Universal Intercom pairing mode and then place the Freecom 4 into Mobile Phone pairing mode. For more information, please check the User's Guide for the SRL3 on our website. Thanks.
I found it easier to install by not following this video. The order that the antenna is installed conflicts with the order the wires are tucked. Bad instructions.

Sena does not have a technical assistance service for out-of-warranty products. If your intercom breaks down you have to throw it away.
Is it too much to ask for this to be filmed in the light?

Wish I could find the srl3 in stock around me.
Do you not have the internet?
@@yzuty78w they are out of stock everywhere in the US.
I just ordered mine today from Spain. And it's cheaper
Got mine from FC Moto in Germany.
what about programming the unit?

Brand new SRL3. Voice commands do not function. Nor does the side band.

Not a single retailer has it in stock. Is it available in the US? Every dealer says that it’s not. Do you know when?
I have the helmet!!!
???
You can order it from Europe. I just ordered mine today from Spain.

When Arai finally
Hi. We recommend contacting Arai and request that Sena makes a Bluetooth headset that integrates into their helmet similar to the way that the SRL3 integrates into Shoei's helmets. Thanks.
Keep dreaming. Arai won’t make a modular or add integrated comm systems. I hate that approach and now moving to Shoei after 3 Arai helmets.

What is the process for me to pair my Sena SRL 3 with my friends Cardo product? (Freecom 4)

@@senatechnologies Thanks will give it a try!
What abount installing srl-mesh (srl2) to neotec 3? Or i need to re-buy same headset in a new chasis?
Hi. The Neotec 3 was not designed to integrate the SRL-Mesh or the SRL2, only the SRL3. Thanks.
Supposedly there is an adaptor kit that will be purchasable. Unable to confirm it.
I have a neotec 2. Had a hard time putting the cheek pads back on
PLEASE when will this be available in the states? Anyone?
You can order it from Europe now and it's cheaper...I just order mine today from spain

A bit difficult for me. Manufacturers should invent something easier to install.
Impossible to connect on my bmw 1250gs ...
Si c’est la même merde que le Srl2, c’est pas la peine. Nul
