My wife and I went last year, and for the last 354 days, had nothing but praise for it! Spent over two hours driving to Palm Desert to see them again last night, and to say that we were disappointed is a gross under statement! Not even half the lights and lighted up attractions as last year. Last year we spent 3 hours in absolute amazement, and felt we didn't see it all. Last night we were there not even an hour and a half, and kept doubling back thinking we had missed a whole section. Probably won't be returning next year, it was that disappointing, and I usually never write a review of anything.
Ah, that's such a bummer to hear. We really loved last year's experience as well. We read similar thing's about this year's Lightscape event in Arcadia. Folks were saying it had way fewer lights than the previous year. Maybe they had to trim the budget down? Hopefully, the rhinos were still awake 🤞 Also, we appreciate the comment letting us know. We'll note it on our blog post, so anyone looking into going can at least get a heads-up cause it's a drive for sure!
I’m sure we’re gonna run into each other sooner or later! Saturday was probably a much better drive. We weren’t thinking and went on Friday night. So we were stuck in traffic with all the folks heading out of California after thanksgiving 😅 We had a great time. How’d your kiddos like it? Thanks again for the spotlight. That was the best weekend we’ve ever had a UA-cam! 🎉
@@Califoreigners haha Saturday was just as bad, the traffic coming back was horrible some of the worst I have seen haha. Glad the spotlight brought some new people to your channel!!
Oh man, you got us beat then. Traffic on the way home after a long day is waaay worse! Haha That year and a half reprieve from SoCal traffic was nice! Cause it’s definitely back in full force.
I knew i could count on you guys for a video on this Zoo. Thanks for the helpful video!
Thanks! Happy holidays! Hopefully I can make some new videos next year 🤞

That was our experience exactly.
I like how you can see real animals in addition to the lights!
We agree! The animals really made it a memorable event outside of just seeing holiday lights 👍
Looks so much fun ! Will take kids there next time. Thanks for sharing
Wildlights would definitely be a great ending to a Palm Springs day trip. It’s a really nice Zoo, especially at night since it gets so hot out there.
Great video!
Thanks! 🎉
I was just there on Saturday, maybe we passed each other!

They had a blast 👍
looks like a lot of fun for the kids! we may try to make it out there, thanks for sharing ✨
No problem! Hope you can make it out. Seeing the animals at night is such a great bonus on top of the fun holiday decorations and activities.
