Rosamund Pike, who played Felix's mother, actually got to stay in the Saltburn house during filming. And the shots really are incredible -- I hope you check out this director's debut film Promising Young Woman. One of my favourites and cinemamatography is also incredible. Maybe my favourite Mikelawz reaction to date honestly, that was so entertaining 🔥
It's interesting to see how Felix thrives in the attention. Yes he could have walked his bike back, but I think he likes to feel powerful when he knows people are attracted to him and doing things for him. It's subtle, but we see parts of his personality there, or in the scene he's touring Oliver through the house. We only see his back, like he is flaunting his money. Being possessive with Oliver. He likes feeling wanted and just discarding people afterwards. The fact that he doesn't know the name of the people working in his house BUT IT'S NOT A BIG DEAAALLLLL. The whole family was in this weird vibe like seeing Oliver as the little poor boy experience.
i always saw the house tour shot as symbolizing that oliver only had eyes for felix because even though the house was full of all these amazing things that felix was pointing out to him, oliver couldn't take his eyes off felix
A 41 minute video something i never expected from these reactions lol you’re treating us. All the acting in this was incredible that last scene with the sister nearly gave me chills
I’m obsessed with Emerald’s directing! If you’ve seen Promising Young Woman, that was her too. Another good movie where Barry Keoghan has a wild hold on a family is The Killing of a Sacred Deer.
barry keoghan is a good actor but he really knocked it out of the park as oliver “twisted” quick. love your reaction as always, mike, you ALWAYS make my day with your videos 👏🏻
So long as you never watch "Psycho", though the shock of that scene isn't as strong as it once was, mostly because the shower murder scene has been parodies and ripped off so much.
Fun fact: the scene of Oliver Quik fucking the grave that wasn't in the script that was Barry keoghan (who play Oliver) idea doing that scene and they kept, what a brave man I'll give him that
The cinematography is incredible and the twist on "innocent kid gets corrupted by rich screwed up family" is cool but geeez it didn't have to be that gross lol
I don’t like The Talented Mr. Ripley which is more vulgar to me. It’s just more anger inducing, it has more violence and chaos which I let it slide, there were some discourses Tom brought, Greenleaf is really cold to his pregnant lover until her death before Marge. Saltburn has less violence and anger, but the vampiric scene and the grave scene destroyed my soul, there were more people who saw right through Oliver, it took place in 2006-2022, and the best part is the diversity or POC in this movie. One more thing, there is one hope that is out there someone who would take Oliver down once and for all when the new story from digital copies will be released soon.
Doesn't Barry Keogan (Oliver) play the Joker in the new Robert Pattinson Batman movie? Like you only see him through the prison glass but I'm pretty sure it's him.
But Emerald’s Wuthering Heights movie is on the verge of being produced. But still, we want a sequel or probably the deleted scenes of what’s going on.
Just recently came across your reactions and been loving them. This is one of my favorite films right now because of the symbolism and filmmaking. Seeing your genuine reactions through this was like my reaction in the theater! Great stuff! "From kissing booth to dead" 🤣🤌

Barry Keoghan "Oliver" wearing the antlers at the party was an ode to his break-out role in The Killing of a Sacred Deer!
“he’s gonna drink the bath water 😂….. HE REALLY IS 😧🫨”
I spoke that moments before disaster

I appreciate the support a ton!
Yeah, I second him reacting to Promising Young Woman if he hasn't already seen it before! It's so good!

But Oliver wanted to be seen that way, he lied a lot just to make himself seem pitiful
@@inaciasilva2024 and that's also interesting, right? So when Felix found out Oliver wasn't what he said, it broke Felix's power fantasy.

@@treasurerox woooow that's also a nice way to see it. And then by that final scene, Oliver is center stage.
This movie is so damn good, unsettling and disturbing man. Hope you ready for the cringious scenes cause it's gonna make you gag brother 😂😂
The bath water did make me gag lol
@@TheMikeLawz Brooo wanted all his juices lol 😭
And then the fucking grave. All of this is so wild. The shots are incredible, but damn, it is a wild ride 😂
A 41 minute video something i never expected from these reactions lol you’re treating us. All the acting in this was incredible that last scene with the sister nearly gave me chills
Imagine if Oliver & Kathy Bates character in Misery teamed up together
They'd be taking down Thanos with that power level
1:40 wait a f**king minute.... How did I never put it together that the weird maths kid is Aemond Targaryen????
Same. I realized at the exact same second
Whaaaat no way!
Out of ALL the reviews and reactions I have watched for Saltburn, Yours was the best, Baby.
“I cant help it, but they can” made me lol
Bro the sipping of the bath water was so god damn disgusting
Dude was going IN on that bath water
Well, true fact. This bathwater is made of water, little milk to be soapy, and little yogurt to be murky. So you’re good.
I’m obsessed with Emerald’s directing! If you’ve seen Promising Young Woman, that was her too. Another good movie where Barry Keoghan has a wild hold on a family is The Killing of a Sacred Deer.
@@caffeineabuser95 um. nope. please google 'director of promising young woman' to learn the facts.

He absolutely nailed the role. I've never seen him in anything else. Thanks so much for the support!!
@@TheMikeLawzdefinitely check out the killing of a sacred deer one day!
The slurping. It is just... way too much for me 😂 This movie was wild.
Dude should've just used a straw
@@TheMikeLawz it would have made it way easier
Based off your reaction to this, i think you would really enjoy Poor Things. Similar level of bizarre, maybe more actually.
Keep up the great work everyday....ur videos are amazing
I appreciate that 👊🏻
"Murder On The Dancefloor" 💜💙🖤
I used to like to take the occasional bath but after this movie I think I will stick with showers 🚿
As long as that dude isn't lurking around your house you should be chilling
So long as you never watch "Psycho", though the shock of that scene isn't as strong as it once was, mostly because the shower murder scene has been parodies and ripped off so much.
If you enjoyed this, I think you would enjoy the Talented Mr. Ripley a much better film in my opinion.
I second that recommendation
Don’t watch the one with Matt Damon. Watch the new one with a much better cast and more true to the novel
It’s definitely not as fun as this one.
I just think about hair, tub scum, old rusty tub metal 🤮 the blood omg
the movie is very very pretty
The dead skin residue floating around in the water BRUH. For sure might be the prettiest movie I’ve seen
Your reactions are awesome!
PLEASE!!! Do her other movie « Promising young woman » like you HAVE to! It’s better than this one! (And amazingly shoot too)
Just realised weird maths guy is aemond targaeryon!!
Wait a minute…crazy maths kid is Aemond Targaryen
"This dude looks 45, why is he in school?" ... Sir, I'm a student in my 40s getting a bachelor degree How rude! 😜

pffft oh no
This was my first time seeing this !! Saltburn is insane!!
The bath tub scene 😂 thanks Mike !!
That scene will now be forever scarred into my memory bank
@@TheMikeLawz mine too !! 😂
so glad you watched this, because i certainly wasnt going to do it alone lol. i have heard HORROR stories
This movie was wild, It did have pretty shots though lol
As long as it looks pretty
Yess thanks for the uploading. Finale i can watching your commentair on this 😅😂😂..
I love this film, but I think The Talented Mr. Ripley is so much better in my opinion. You should watch it 😊
Great reaction! Such a good movie 😄
So many people hate this film but I honestly really like it for a variety of reasons.
It’s the kind of film that I love but will never recommend LOL
Beat movie I've seen in a very long time. That bathtub scene made people walk out of the worst theater but I wound it kinda hot😅
We appreciate your efforts.

This movie is beautifully shot, but it is ABSOLUTELY a more vulgar version of The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Yes, he is the Joker in that movie.
Plz plz plz watch "our guys", it's a based on a true story movie that broke me. Came out in 1999
You think THAT bathtub scene was bad? Wait till you watch "The Piano Teacher" directed by Michael Haneke.
lol now I want u to watch call me by your name 😅
the eating out thechick part was the nasiest part of the film lol but i love this movie
That was FOUL
@TheMikeLawz so bad...people thought the tub part was bad 🤣🤣 I was like what???? I'd rather have that special tub water and not that...blood.....ick
Not the vampire scene.
This is an amazing film i have seen it get a lot of hate and i just dont understand
Haven't seen much hate, I do think this is a solid movie though
❤❤
❤❤❤
What I don't like about this movie, is that Oliver gets away with the murders
I think it's more interesting when the villain wins sometimes
But Emerald’s Wuthering Heights movie is on the verge of being produced.

this move is truly fucked. but a fucked masterpiece
