There's a lot of upcoming tutorials on Color Grading Insights. I will be posting once a week. You will be able to learn how to create different film looks, like teal & orange, cross processing, horror film or retro look. We will also have a look at the Fusion tab in Resolve as well as we will touch a bit of a color theory:)
Here's also my previous video, where I'm showing how to remove skin blemishes in DaVinci Resolve:

The second method makes blurry patches on the skins so it's good to use another node right behind it, connect the alpha from the first node and bump the details back to 50-100%. That's how you return the details into the image.
Good to know!
I like those small and simple tutorials which allow me to learn about features of Resolve I didn't know about and that solve common problems. Thank you !
Thanks so much for the comment Jean!
Very clearly explained and like that you get straight to the point.
Thanks so much Stuart!
I didn't even know I had a Face Refinement tool. That's fantastic. Thank you so much!

Thank you. I had been playing with other ideas that don't even come close to how well this works. Thank you for just improving all my field interviews. :-)

Thanks for this! How do you make the tracker actually track the face if it is a clip with a lot of movement?

Thank you!
Just discovered your channel!! So informative! I'm curious, how you get such clear voice recording ,very nice. What you using?
It’s actually a very cheap mic with a clip from Amazon 😆
@@colorgradinginsights then it must be your voice that's soothing 😁 nice channel !
Hi Kasia is there anyway of copying the face refinement to another clip? Obviously not much of an issue if you're just taking away shine but when you're making multiple adjustments to the face it would be nice to copy over. I'm guessing because it's tracked you have to do each clip individually?
There’s a tutorial on my channel where I’m showing how to copy grades! I hope it’ll help! Sometimes you can copy the effect but you have to analyze each clip separately to make it work!
nice`
