Dzięki! Mam nadzieję że zainteresuje cię mój kurs: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/courses/masteringcolorgrading
Thanks for posting this. While practising your techniques I found that if I made any adjustments to a node before the magic mask node all the tracking on the mask would be lost and have to be done again. After a lot of thumping my keyboard, I found that if you change from object to person in the magic mask node the tracking would stay regardless of the work done on the nodes before.
Flat to hear you made it work! I think there’s a bug in how the Software works! And I hope you will purchase my course: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/courses/masteringcolorgrading I’m sure you would love it!

عالی بود خدا خیرتون بده 🌹
Thanks so much!
Another great video! Where you created the serial node after the mask, then inverted the mask with a key, could an Outside Node be used instead? Or, is your technique adding something that the Outside Node can’t accomplish? Loved your training class and the footage!
😍👍

@@colorgradinginsights Sure will do.
Enjoyed it. Always nice to see how a clolourist approaches a scene like that. I almost never touch the gamma wheel myself... save that for a contrast and pivot node. Am I wrong? I was told by another colourist that his gamma controls collect dust.
Every colorist has got their own techniques! I do really encourage ppl to use what works for them!
I really like this video. Respect for the work. Here you can see the competence behind it. The video dispenses with the "coolness", annoying background music and superfluous "I'm cool" gestures. The video gets to the point. I would still have an improvement: Why are e.g. gamma or shift used and not contrast etc. The reason for the effect, i.e. what do I want to achieve with the effect, why I use the effect (e.g. contrast, gam, lift, offset, etc.) would be very helpful. So what do I want to achieve or improve and what do I use in Davinci for this.
Thanks so much for the comment! Feedback is always very appreciated! Have a look at my course, where I explain things more systematically: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/courses/masteringcolorgrading
you are so good, im thinking about your masterclass. Im grading on Davinci for 2 years but i think im a noob. I dont know if it have a lot of color grade directly and this type of tricks, or its a masterclass that touch all. Are you upgrading lessons ?
Hey! Yes, I am adding new lessons to the course! Thus the price will go up soon! Have a look at the current curriculum: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/pages/master-color-grading-davinci-resolve I hope you’ll enroll soon! Let me know if you have any questions
HI MY TEACHER ; FROM IRAN I WISH YOU THE BEST OF THE VERY BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR 2024 AND THE 100 NEXT NEW YEARS
Thank yo iso much! Happy NY to you too!
Grat job! how do you get so intense red overlay on magic mask? sometimes i cant even see the selection!
You mean - the red overlay is not showing at all? Did you turn it on?
@@colorgradinginsights yes, mine is lightly red but yours look red intense!
Do u have a any job offer 😊 in color grading for outsiders people
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
that's great thanks. but do you need to then repeat this same arduous procedure for EVERY Clip in a montage? how much would you say you copy/paste these settings VS have to rebuild the grade for each shot? For example if the girl walks outside in the next shot, you have to repeat all this for another 2 second clip? always baffled me this part about colour grading... how to make it more efficient so it doesn't take 20 mins PER 2 seconds of footage 🫠 thanks for any insights!
Actually, when I grade commercials this is exactly how it is😆so much tweaking shot after shot. Multiple pose windows, keys etc.
no kidding! ok so this is actually how it works... see I'm trying to balance client pricing & quotes for projects, and sometimes spending this much time on colour grading alone is impossible. I appreciate your content you're smooth and to the point. good luck @@colorgradinginsights
@@lxrproductions yes, I know that clients don’t want to pay for color separately.
Don't see any discount code and dates?
There’s no discount code. This is a discounted price. I’ll put the price up as the course develops. The new master class is coming this week.
Is the practice footage 10 bit? I ask because I have another course that provided only 8 bit footage. That works to a point, then it becomes frustrating, lol.
Yes it’s 10 bit!
And will be adding a lot more! Just sorting out new master classes and the footage!
why are you using v-gamut as the color space in your timeline? I would say it's too narrow for this footage and using DWG should be obvious choise IMO. why is that?
The timeline color space should be set to however the clip was shot. It was shot in v log so I set it to v log, how come it’s too narrow if it’s a native color space? That’s truth that DWG is a way wider color space but I usually use it when I have mixed clips on my timeline and each of them has got a different color space. I hope this makes sense.
