Rice water conditioner is a game changer. You’re the ultimate healthy hair care motivator. I’ll try to keep up cuz my hair is flourishing. Consistency is key.
I’m actually almost speechless. Your hair. Luscious and this DIY?? Couldn’t be simpler. Not only are you helping me transform my hair, you are also saving me coin by doing things myself. I have my aloe Vera oil steeping in my pantry as we speak. Thank you SheRea!
Just finished my wash day (night) I couldn't find my ayurveda shampoo bar so I picked my rice milk soap...I was like "if it's good for the face it can be good for the hair too" well today marks day one of me incorporating rice soap in my regimen☺ The DEFINITION I had was out of this world😍
It was the way your curls STAYED clumped after you rinsed it out for me. I’ll def have to try this out once protective style season is over. Thanks for sharing 💖
Your recipes are great! I need more Mason jars and ingredients! 🤩 Do you think that any of these recipes will deposit a tint of color using an ayervedic powder?
hi SheRea 🤗 another great DIY video your hair looks awesome 👍😀👍 i second the fact that DIY treatments benefit overall hair health. whether its strength, volume, moisture, definition, shine, length or all of the above - DIY recipes can do it all. for me, consistency is key. tfs
Absolutely loveeeeeeee your videos! I always leave learning something new, feeling good about my hair, and having a good laugh (I think you’re funny). Thank you love for all the good DIY 😍😍
Thank you for sharing the information on the just for me pre shampoo detangler on a different video. I was able to try it and It TRULY melts away tangles. I would have never guessed. The Lords many blessings to you:)
Hey Sherea~ Just a small question. With the left over infused oil, how often can you reuse the left over powder? I know that people usually recommend Amla as a starting powder for newbies to use, but I saw in a few videos back you were saying you Bharingraj was a really good powder for hair growth, so for a beginner does it matter what powders you start with? I'm more so wanting to start incorporating ayurvedic powders to enhance deep conditioning treatments and can't figure out which to buy first.
Nice!!!! Can you suggest what can i use to substitute for the aloe vera powder and oil, as i havent been able to source these as yet. Per usual very helpful, easily understandable content👍🤗
Do a small patch test with the powders people! I tried using aloe vera powder and it gave me an allergic reaction 🙃 itchy hands and scalp I had to wash it out quickly. Never had this problem with the plant. 🤷🏾♀️
@@SheReaDelSol would you give me a little more detail on the freezing portion please. The mixture is pretty thin so maybe just keep in a applicator bottle, freeze, and thaw in a bowl of warm water when ready to use?
Do you think you will be doing a length check video anytime soon? I’m going to do a length check around thanksgiving time when I get my blowout and flatiron done by my stylist.
Love this. I did the rice water conditioner before but I used the fermented rice with water, blended and used the nut bag. I’m going to try this as well. On another note, my bff found cactus for me so I’ll try the aloe and cactus as well. As always, thanks for all that you give us😊
My hair is low-po and very sensitive to rice water and fresh aloe vera. It turns my hair hard and brittle. However since I have been making my own magic potions (Asterisk), I have found using dried form of Aloe Vera and dried black rice once mixed with other stuff, I dont get the dried brittle effect, but I do get the vitamins. So get a small bag off ebay of the dried aloe vera, try it with an oil, fav conditioner. If your hair is as snobby as mine, you need to keep checking, so your hair doesn't turn. There is also rice bran oil which is another option. Here in the UK, it is cheap and found in the supermarkets. As this site is international, try the Indian or Chinese supermarket. This is cheap oil so don't allow anybody to rip you off! And again, buy a small bottle and try it. If your hair doesn't like it, you can eat it. Over salad, fry it, all the usual yummy things you do with oil!😋
@@SheReaDelSol Well no matter what negative things people say about the so called 'Natural Black Hair Community', I feel we all have a duty to leave tips and to help each other out! Years ago, it was assumed that you're black, why wouldn't your hair like coconut oil. My parents are from Jamaica, so I ate it all the time with no problems. But when more and more people were saying that they were having the same problems, then I no longer felt stupid. Today, I would say its the same with so called 'wash n gos'. Not everybodys hair works but there is that automatic assumption that we can do it on all black hair. What I enjoy are the different angles that everybody brings to the table whether you are from the continent of Africa, or an island girl😉,Europe or from the US we all equally have something to bring to the table. That too me is a positive thing of the so called'natural Black community.
Am I the only natural whose scalp hates aloe vera? It literally sets my scalp on fire, but I love to try your recipes so I always replace it with coconut milk or Greek yogurt cause booty crack length hair is the goal and no aloe vera formed against me shall prosper 💪🏾💃🏾😂

i use it once to reinfuse or in a mask like this one. I recommend amla because it’s the easiest to rinse out
Yessss the Queen has dropped another one 🥰🥰
😘😘
This looks lush girl. Thank you.
No problem!
omg...wow...now I have another use for black rice after I've fermented it (nuttn not wasting). Gonna try this with black glutinous rice as well.
You are very welcome
I’m ready Ms. DelSol✍🏼🤓.. definitely trying this one, the other rice diy was sooo good
Yay!!!
Rice water usually leaves my hair super hard, so I'm curious to see how cooked rice will do. Thanks for sharing Sherea!!!

Do you ever use your treatments overnight? Im trying to get back into prepooing TFS this was a great video 😁
Yup, I do. I prefer doing them overnight.
Professor Delsol,

Rice water is backkkkk
I did the rice water with chebe powder as prepoo last week. It was heavenly. I wonder if I can do this treatment this week. Ummmmmmm

Have you tried okra gel
Just once but not really
Do you have any suggestions for replacing the Aloe Vera powder? I am allergic🥺
You can literally use any powder you want.
When you use rice water treatments, I'm assuming you don't use your fenugreek prepoo bc then that would be 2 strengthening treatments??
Correct. It’s either or
