I still cannot thank you enough for our finger detangling conversation a year ago now... I honestly think it's one of the reasons for my increased thickness. With my fine high porosity hair, I was literally ripping out hair smh... LOVE how your hair is taking off and flourishing!! Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks to you I just started doing finger detangling and it was so easy them combs pull to much for me thanks for your time a sista really appreciate you...
I use a local shampoo of Aretha, shikakai and oils to shampoo and I haven't used anything else in 7 months and my scalp is bomb. Also fine hair but HIGH DENSITY and Medium porosity, I CANNOT finger detangling solely. My hair is too cobwebby and my roots too thick and even after doing it for 4 hrs straight, random hair balls still fall when I'm in the shower and tangle my ends. I still like the clumping I'm getting from it but I'm really excited to get a brush again. I ain't got time for all those tangles
@@SheReaDelSol I already use 14- 15 sections. And I still need to split further in half . The patience I've had thus far is truly divine. And I know it's not sustainable for me so I'm just going to get a brush to help out because I've noticed I'm rougher on my hair as my patience runs thin and my Netflix movies end I'd just rather the brush possibly breaks it in good time than me after 4 hrs plus
I have fine - medium hair and I'm medium porosity and medium density. Finger detangling didn't work for me, I always found random shed hairs that never completely came out and the knots were annoying. That's why i use a brush, it gets it all out.
Same exact hair. If you're fine, you're already walking on thin ground with finger detangling. But thick too? It's a wrap. I've definitely noticed being rougher when my autoplay starts to bore me haha. I just do a light removal of big knots and go in with the Denman D38 paddle brush. Life saver.
I’m going to try this for the 3 months because i found 2/3 cowashes/butta shampoos/ cleansing milks in my stash! And i have a new diy creamy clay recipe 🥰 my hair doesn’t tend to be too dirty since I’ve been taking care of it since that quarantine started.. and fall means low maintenance styles for me.. thank u for the content
Hey SheRae! I only use tools outside the shower to pre poo when my hair isn’t soaking wet and my hair has been shedding a lot less, so while I use limited tools, you are correct! It helps with length retention!
I haven’t been on UA-cam for hair stuff much in a few years. I haven’t seen you since you were SheDel and My Thrifted Closet. Your hair has FLOURISHED! Beautiful!!!! It’s like cloud pillow! Represent for the lo po girls!
Cowash girl over here also. I only shampooed once a month and I had no issues. I made sure to only use products that my cowash could wash out I started using more creams/butters so I started experimenting with clay washes. Since I started using clay washes my scalp itchiness is pretty much gone. I'm so happy. I actually haven't shampooed in months. Dont judge me, judge yo mama lol. And my hair has been doing great. Shampoos were really drying out my hair very badly
Sooooooooooo I think you should just go ahead and put out start to finish regimens for moisture and protein using the types of treatments you use. Then go ahead and hit us with a product line, ebook, etc. Go on and take this to the top ❤️. You’re awesome!
It really just depends on what's in the co wash. Sometimes there's cowashes that don't clean much & others clean more. How many synthetic ingredients like silicones, ect were in your hair also matter. But since she uses mainly natural treatments and products, and her cowash is bomb. It's a great quality. The double cleanse itself is the way she cleans it. I'm probably going to use that one myself because clearly it's doing wonders her hair! Gorgeous!
Yesss I just used a rice deep conditioner very similar to the one in your video and a very Liquidy wash ( easier to rinse out). Super moisturized and defined !
Have you looked into Ambunu? It's leaves from a dried African plant that cleanses, conditions, and detangles. I used it for the first time over the weekend and the slip is amazing! Most of the saponin is in the leaves and women on UA-cam used the leaves to cleanse, but I'm not about that life. I cleanse my hair while in twists. So, I strained it and used the gel in my DIY shampoo and leave-in conditioner. You have to mess around with the water/leaf ratio. I'm thinking of including it in my masks/henna for easier rinse out.
I preach consistency. Everytime I mess up it's because I stop my routine for no reason. I'm back on it and my hair is getting back to where it used to be.

I have to detangle on dry hair, if I wait to do it in the shower it will a DISASTER. I mainly use a wide tooth comb or the EZ detangler.
