Oh man, you're gonna have 300k subscribers in the next year at least. Algorithm brought me here and I'm super jazzed about the production and video quality, time to explore the backlog!
you’re so right, this game is really just saw but for kids. i paused to play along and the puzzles are actually tad challenging at some parts. nice spooky video to start the spooky season
Somehow I read the title as "was a mistake" and I was watching for 8 minutes thinking that this looks amazing before reading the title again lol. Stuff like this kinda makes me wish I did grew up with a PC.
Oh wow I've been really nostalgic for this game lately! I tried to find a way to play it but get too skeptical to download. When I was in a Lutheran elementary school they didn't have a real play area besides a open field, so when it rained we would go to the computer lab (a trailer) and I always play this game! Never could finish it because of my lepidopterphobia.
Been playing this since I was a kid in computer class. I downloaded it from a certain abandonware website a couple years ago and at least once a month I have to play a round of it. It’s such a pleasant experience. The sound effects, the visuals, the riddles are all so fun.
Great video, amazing production and scripting. Excited to see more from you :)! @9:50 it was too scary for me it was incredibly hard for me to complete the gams because of that segment, especially because of the monster box 🤡
This and I Spy School Days were great! I still never managed to find that toy ladybug 12 times in School Days, though. I like to imagine that something amazing would have happened, though! :o
i'm so glad you could find this and play it, this game was my favorite thing ever as a kid. the wii version was good but not as charming as this game was (:
I knew I recognized you from somewhere! I watched your videos about Yume Nikki and SM64 b3313, and now you're making a video about ANOTHER game series that I love?? Hell yea 😁 It would be awesome if you also made videos about the other I Spy games such as Treasure Hunt and Mystery. Also I would love to see you make a video about Yume 2kki
While I preferred Fantasy, I also played the SHIT out of Spooky Mansion as a kid!! I love watching more people talk and play these games because it's a big nostalgia blast for me lol. Amazing video!!
I got my copy of spooky mansion from Big fish games and it works fine on windows 11 besides being stuck in full screen. They also have the other games in the series just in case you decide to come back to them later for treasure hunt or a retrospective
I love I Spy. I never played Spooky Mansion but I did download I Spy: Treasure Hunt a while back just for the nostalgia. If I can find a cleanish copy of this I might give it a try, I love little things and dioramas.
Me and my brother had this game on the Wii it took us forever to complete it when we were younger and now he refuses to replay it with me even though I'm sure it won't take us nearly as long 😂❤
Ah I see a true lover of the best PC game (or one of my favs from a kid lol). In addition to Pajama Sam (but little less edutainment and a more interactive version of the pop up book of the same name), I loved the PC version of Haunted House by Jan Pienkowski as well. Follow up now that I was able to finish the video: I would 100% consider this edutainment. While the game may not teach you much direct informational knowledge, it's wonderful on the language and patterns level as well as testing your general knowledge. It's rewarding to have to find a couple of sixes and checking things you know might have them in the picture like a ruler and a clock and being right. While the material also isn't text heavy, the poems having the clues and sometimes harder words can encourage reading skills. Also forgot to mention another lovely horror edutainment game: I.M. Meen. It's a fun combo of dungeon vibes, interesting enemies, proofreading skills, readable world lore, and an old man's self-insert fanfiction :3
I love that he just goes "oh wait this isn't gonna work, hang on" instead of just editing to make it seems like everything went perfectly from the get go. It already started well with the whole "This isn't a Halloween costume, this is just who I am" skit at the beginning. Glad YT decided to show me this
I played this so much as a kid! This was a really nice trip down memory lane, thanks. All the sounds and animations were just great to hear again.
Oh man, you're gonna have 300k subscribers in the next year at least. Algorithm brought me here and I'm super jazzed about the production and video quality, time to explore the backlog!
Thanks, I appreciate it! Many more vids coming soon 👍
Oh boy, child-friendly liminal space art!
Aw man, my mom and I used to play this together when I was itty bitty... Love your stuff, man. Awesome work
you’re so right, this game is really just saw but for kids.

nice spooky video to start the spooky season
had this game on my old leap pad
beat it twice, i think
Somehow I read the title as "was a mistake" and I was watching for 8 minutes thinking that this looks amazing before reading the title again lol.

4:27 scarily similar to hypnospace outlaw
Damn, your right

Being able to play I Spy Spooky Mansion again was, like, 37% of me switching from Mac to PC
The book of this is how I learned the words "Rebus" and "Palindrome" as a kid.
Great video, amazing production and scripting. Excited to see more from you :)!

Thanks! I'm glad to confirm straight from a source that part was too scary. I had a feeling 🤔
This and I Spy School Days were great! I still never managed to find that toy ladybug 12 times in School Days, though. I like to imagine that something amazing would have happened, though! :o
We only ever had the pirates treasure one but that game rocked. I wish it would still play on my pc.
Great video :) Thank you

I can guarantee I've had more uses for applies spatial reasoning skills than I ever got out of all the math I never learned.
YEAAAHHHHH!!!! omg i loved playing this as a kid! i remember being a total wuss, but i just loved the rush of traversing through this spooky mansion💀🧡
First time seeing a video from this channel and I’m honestly awestruck with Doom and everything that was showcased. ✨

Bold claim, but this game is why I'm so good at finding shit
Glad to see I Spy is getting some recognition.
*Haven't watched the whole video yet.
