I had no idea she played Principal Powers in Sky High, and I've seen that movie like 5 times. I just remember certain people like Danielle Panabaker, Kurt Russell, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. But that's only because they went on to play characters in other superhero properties like CW's The Flash, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, The Birds of Prey (the Harley Quinn movie), and Guardian's of the Galaxy Vol. 2. I even remember the guy who played Will Stronghold, Michael Angarano, mainly because the first time I saw him in anything was that Nickelodeon TV movie version of the book, Maniac Magee, and he played the main character in the movie, The Forbidden Kingdom.

So now they are stuck with an expensive dc movie just lying on a shelf for almost a year. Rather than suffer the "new mutants" syndrome, they decided to just release this and move on with other dc projects.

Well to be fair, Cheetah wasn't a man from 1,000+ years ago, human beings look much different and had a different diet, health, and quality of life, that was much different than a fit superpowered woman from 1984. The metal was made to withstand men from the BC era (I think) and amazons just evolved with humans physically. That's my reasoning anyway from what I can recall from a basic anthropology class.
I'm guessing thousands of men are still regular men and don't have the strength to break the armor while Cheetah is a superhuman with enhanced strength and stamina.

@@carsfan1995 no they knew they have a bad movie that's why it got delayed. There were meant to be reshoots to salvage this(and to connect to other dc movies) but the pandemic hit. So now they are stuck with an expensive dc movie just lying on a shelf for almost a year. Rather than suffer the "new mutants" syndrome, they decided to just release this and move on with other dc projects.
Most Hollywood movies nowadays are geared for the Chinese market. They're so desperate to watch anything approved by the government that they'll watch absolute crap. A POS movie that only makes a few million dollars in the US will easily break a billion dollars in China.

I laugh when the writers imagined everyone getting their wishes ends in death, carnage, looting, fires, and mass mayhem and that's the most realistic part. They already know 2021.
The parent who wished for their sick kid to be healthy did not renounce that wish. This movie was so awful for so many reasons.

Well to be fair, Cheetah wasn't a man from 1,000+ years ago, human beings look much different and had a different diet, health, and quality of life, that was much different than a fit superpowered woman from 1984. The metal was made to withstand men from the BC era (I think) and amazons just evolved with humans physically.
That's my reasoning anyway from what I can recall from a basic anthropology class.
