I would put them pretty high up on the list of options. They are a little more expensive, but not nearly as bad as Deere or Kubota
I also just recorded a video about the comparable Kabota and it is $20,000 more than this kioti

I bought my first tractor in 2021, Kubota BX. Really liked it but quickly outgrew it. Started looking at upgrading to B series, almost pulled the trigger, then found Kioti. Bought the CX2510, which is comparable to (or better than) a Kubota LX2610 in almost every way, and costs less than a BX! Love it so far. Very beefy machine.

I've got a 2022 DK5310 and I have been so impressed with it, it's exactly what I want out of a tractor and I love mine. I just got my Dad to buy a CK4010 that he got a screaming deal on off of Marketplace. Kioti's NX and NS series are extremely similar. The NX has had a few electrical gremlins that are likely sorted out at this point, but I think a lot of people have just gone with the NS since it's electronically a little more simple but still offers nearly all the same features and identical capacities. I've had my Kioti for almost a year now and it's been very reliable for me and my local dealer is great.

Bought a used 2021 NX5010 last fall and it’s been really nice so far. Used it for snow removal, box blading, and manure removal this winter with no issues. Strong machine so far, will be doing pasture mowing this summer. Big plus are the R14 tires - no need for chains and the rut damage is less severe. Property has a lot of clay soil and was a total quagmire this winter with all the rain - never got stuck once.

I bought a JD 2038R in 2017. I liked the tractor but wanted a cab. I was going to buy a JD3039R until a friend suggested I check out Kioti. I ended up buying a Kioti CK4020SE HST. The Kioti has a lot more features, more lifting capacity and a wider stanch compared to the JD 3039R. The interior of the cab is significantly more roomy. Price was more than $10,000 less than the JD

50hp in a compact frame will give you more capability with nominal frame size increase. Put R14 hybrid tires on it and you'll be easy on the turf as well. My Kioti NX5010HST Cab fits in a standard size residential garage space. They have sizes from 45hp to 60hp on the same frame.

I know I'm the only one in the whole wide world that problems like I do, but the first thing I look for in a tractor is where the top-link is connected to. On all L-Series Kubota's the top-link is hooked to back of transmission, so on my L3400 when it was heavy strain one time, my trans case crack, that a $3-5k complicated hard repair. On Kioti the top-link is on lift-housing so if that cracks it looks to me like a much cheaper easier repair. So when you look at tractors you should look at that, just in case you might be the 2nd guy in the whole wide world to crack a trans case on a heavy pull......

Recently purchased a CK3520SEH Cab, because it was a very attractive shade of orange. I'm kidding, the pretty orange was just a bonus. I was looking at the big three South Korean brands, Kioti, TYM and LS. It came down to dealer location and support, plus they had a very good deal when I was ready to buy. I'm very pleased with it, but I think any three of these brands would be a good choice both in quality aw well as economically. 🚜

I think you've compared so many tractors, the feature set of all of them are overwhelming your brain. I offer two corrections here, based upon my knowledge of my own LS MT357, which you showed earlier. Not trying to find fault it what you've done, just offering a hand.
One of the PTO features you found under the cover was auto-PTO, where the PTO automatically stops on lifting the 3-point lift. You said this was similar to a feature on the LS tractor. I think you were mistaken on that. I'm confident that is a TYM feature, and NOT an LS feature.
Also, one of the cruise control features you were describing the Kioti to have, that you seemed to be very impressed with, was a pretty good description of the engine speed control on the pillar of the LS MT357. On the LS it adjusts with Up/Down buttons, not a knob.

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  7 місяців тому

I was there about three weeks ago. I’m completely confident that LS is the one that has the feature that stops the PTO when you lift the three-point.
We had long conversation about having the extra technology.
      The TYM is very basic

I was eyeing the CK2610 cab in 2017 but went with the Kubota BX23S for the backhoe. Traded it in on the CK2620se cab June of 23. Kubota makes a fine machine, but $29k for an L2502 is absurd. I was quoted just shy of 40k for the new LX3520SU cab. No suspension seat. The Other Orange is flirting with Greene prices, so Im gone. No issues with my Kioti.

This is just my OP{NION, but my family has been farming since the eighteen hundreds and have run EVERYTHING ever made for millions of hours. In todays world, the only other small tractor out there that even holds a candle to Kioti is MF. You can't go wrong with either one of them.

I would be interested in hearing your reasons why…
Right after recording this, I went to the Kubota booth and recorded a video about the comparable model.
It was $20,000 more and it’s a much less capable machine in terms of lifting. I have trouble spending that much extra on a machine that can’t do the same work.
Kioti has been making equipment since 1947 and sold their first tractor in the US in 1986.
What don’t you like about them?
The only thing Kubota has going for them is their name. And I do acknowledge the name is synonymous with dependability.
I also talked to a lot of Tractor owners and very few people ever complain about a Kioti

Its sad, time and again, I hear " Pick a dealer that you can trust ". Im from the " how about a piece of equipment that does not require a dealer relationship to own !? " Something I can pull service on and just use... ? You'd likely not be surprised I buy Kubotas new... buy it and forget it. Not crapping on any other brand, but the concept of going into something you know is going to be a problem, so pick a good dealer, no thanks.

I went straight from that booth to the Kubota booth and priced a similar model.
You’re looking at $25,000 more for a machine with less capability and less features
So you could buy this tractor and a side-by-side and take your family on vacation. And still have some money left over for any repairs you need
And be able to pick up the log you want.

The vast majority of people will never need the dealer for serious repairs but anybody can turn out a turd. I've seen larger operations choose their equipment based on the local dealers and their relationships with them.
I've been looking for a couple weeks now and I've driven a couple of kiotis, rx7320 and a 50 hp ns, I think it was. On Friday I tested a yanmar yt359 and absolutely loved it! Impeccable build quality and simply a wonderful tractor but I doubt that I pursue it.... Why? Because I didn't care for the dealer and the next closest dealer is an hour and a half further away. Being a yanmar it's likely going to be an extremely good machine but you never know...

@@danielrobey1759 Yes, Ive lived that experience of the dealer relationship, I ran a small structural demolition company, a decade ago, we had a fleet of bobcat loaders for cleanup work. 12 machines, mostly abused, but not neglected. Our selling/servicing bobcat dealer could not keep half the fleet up and running on any given day. I thought at the time, we had more of a "not suitable tool" problem, more than a dealer relationship/competence problem. The owner did not want to embrace the solution ( finding durable loaders than worked more than not, likely a brand change ) so the band played on, and we ran with mostly broken units most of the time, and spent a fortune trying to fix garbage. My point to you're reply, I've seen the worst case scenario of running on a "dealer relationship ". Might also explain, my approach to equipment, buy stuff that only needs repairs when you physically break it, not because if fails due to engineering shortcomings, or dare I say built in obsolescence. BTW, I owned a Deere 970 Compact ( Yanmar tractor ) Loved that tractor, it needed nothing while I owned it ( 10yrs ), and always performed flawlessly.

Gigantic global corporation that makes lawnmowers and side-by-side and skid steers. Very similar to Kubota all of their engineering is done in house. They built everything from the axles to the engine to the transmission for their own machines, which is rare.

We don’t need technology on our tractors, trucks are bad enough I want reliability and less CRAP to break keeping me from getting the WORK DONE. DO NOT BUY ANY KUBOTA PRODUCT
I BOUGHT A NEW KUBOTA LX 4020 TRACTOR TO USE FOR A SNOW REMOVAL BUSINESS
IN BRIAN HEAD, UT. I HAD TO PURCHASE FROM A DEALERSHIP IN COLORADO AS IT WAS
THE ONLY KUBOTA DEALERSHIP WITHIN A 1000 MILE SEARCH TO HAVE THE TRACTOR I
NEEDED FOR THE PURPOSE INTENDED. The Dealership, Wickham Tractor in Fort Collins, CO
sold me the tractor and added Howes diesel treatment to the tank as well as selling me the
remainder of the bottle to use to prevent the fuel from jelling. I Used as per specs. Tractor was
purchased on 11/21/23 and I picked it up and transported it back to UT. Tractor was in
operation for 17.2 hours before it would not start. Local Kubota dealerships said they would
not come out to try to fix it as we did not buy it from them. Took it to Las Vegas, NV, as they
were closest Kubota dealership, dropped off on 1/8/24 at 730 am. Kubota dealership said the
fuel smelled funny so it wasn't covered under warranty and said $12000.00 plus to fix. The DPF
was completely clogged and the only codes were low temp MAF sensor and no
communication with EGR. Western area rep said there was no fuel to test because I drained it.
This is a Lie. Had more than 6 gallons of fuel in it when i dropped it off. I have all the emails and
correspondences and text messages, proving they denied coverage for adding a fuel additive.
Sergio at Kubota customer service said, “When I put fuel in the tractor it voided warranty.”
Apco, the Kubota dealership in Las Vegas, sent out the injectors for testing they came back as
bad due to fuel contamination on 1/23/24. Kubota persisted in their point of me putting bad
fuel in the Tractor. When I called the tester, I pressed about the fuel contamination. The person
who did the test, said it was visible metal in the injectors that most likely came from the high
pressure fuel pump. There was no metal in the fuel tank, fuel filter or fuel water separator. The
dealership i bought the tractor from said they were the only ones that could help me at this
point due to Kubota policy. Eddie at Wickham tractor told me I needed to bring the tractor
back to them, 1367 miles round trip. and they would sell me a new one because I had broken
this one. And would see about trying to fix the one I had already bought for a discount. I
transported the tractor back to Greely, CO to Wickham on 1/18/24 they tested the fuel that was
still in the filters and it came back as fine 2/8/24 so they were going to replace the entire
engine. This could take between 3 to 9 months. My warranty coverage says all warranty work
to be completed within 30 days. On 2/28/24 I found out there was internal Kubota Service
Bulletin that came out to all the dealers the week before I bought the tractor stating the very
problems my tractor was having. They knew this, and still denied coverage, and finally, when I
presented this fraud to Kubota, on 3/7/24 Wickham tractor said they were going to replace the
tractor with a new one, but wouldn't give me a timeline of when I would get a new one and I
would have the expense of picking it up from them verses a local dealership. These delays
have cost me my business and reputation to move snow I had to pay out my competitors and
cancel and refund all my contracts. A service bulletin for this tractor was issued before I
bought it stating this very problem. and it was to be fixed at Kubotas expense. They knew the
problem existed, they tried to blame it on me for adding fuel supplement, they tried to coerce
me into buying a new tractor on top of the broken one so i didn't lose my business. they
refused to cover the cost of repair until i proved their fraud, and intent by pushing the narrative
and then changing and deleting emails. I have all emails and correspondence showing the
    timeline, the fraud and intent.
