It is super song performed by very talented musicians, giants of rock scene. I can't agree the band was underrated, as wrote one of us. The then, in 70th, "Traffic" was one of the best group, very loved & listened ... Their first LP was narcotic, "departure", fantastic!!!

LZ no worries
Winwood has always lived and breathed music. One of the special ones he is
Oh I wish I could LIKE this each and every time I watch and listen. We, who were young then, learned to have dedicated musical attention spans due to the many, many lengthy jam sessions at concerts. just mellow out, relax and free flow with the tunes.
Absolutely amazing... made me sad that this magic is gone
Album came out just as I wasreturning from VN. What a timefor music. What a time to live.
Thank you for your service!
sweet sounds. sweet times. sweet memories.
Ditto
Michele Regal
Aw yes, Michele, these are memories that can never die!!
I was just 12..but lucky for me my 1st cousin just got a Awesome Sansui Stereo System, & he turned me on to what music is all about...Rest in peace Chuck...He passed in 2019, at 64, I was 62...See you when I get there Chuck...love ya Cous!
Great version. Man, Steve is tripping his balls off too. Good times.
anthonyspare He was so young, so talented. Keyboards, guitar, harmonica.
Look at guy on tambourine! LOL. TB!
Thank God Jim kept this for us , Steve Absolutely jams !!!Traffic is Awesome
Stevie is an awesome musician and the band were so talented. I am 60 but wish I had seen this live performance. A stunning performance!!
I cannot believe that I just discovered this song 51 years after its release; but in my defense, I'm only 45 years old (but still it's been too long). This is a great song, and this live jam version is absolutely spectacular! :-)
Hope you enjoy every day
You haven't got a defence really
Completely stoned and in control, with Rebob and the crew. I saw them 40 years later and he has the same voice and magic touch. God bless this mess,
Wish I could have been around in these days!!! Badass!!!!!

I wo'nt attempt to tell you about it. What a time. WOW ,!SO DOPED& intelligent.
Steve was way back then already a great guitarist/keyboard player/songwriter and he still is!
Don't forget vocalist!
it still on the playlist in my head, so I don't know how you could call it under rated, I graduated in 74...did a lot of acid, maybe that explains it...., love this tune. thanks for posting the live version, nice clear quality.
In any top 500 countdown this should be number one NOT Stairway to Heaven { burned out badly} . Dear Mr. Fantasy has it all ,guitars , harmonica. you name it . Number one song !
i love the studio version where producer jimmy miller keeps adding more instruments as the song progresses.
1-Shot slinger all day shorty!
Tambourine man looks chill
Some passages in my life, I knew how special they were while they were still happening. Whole series of once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
They felt like they'd go on forever. We weren't really sure. The Age of Aquarius didn't always behave like you expected it to
My girlfriends and I saw Traffic repeatedly since 1969 on, we all still love Stevie Winwood with all our hearts 💕after years of watching Traffic, we were in Long Beach, CA, waiting for the doors to open, we had a couple hours to kill, my bff’s and I headed to a tattoo place at the Pike, we still have our tattoos from 1974, I remember everything about that day and night, sitting in our seats, listening to Bob Marley’s album for the first time, glorious days, we had all just turned 19.❤
It is super song performed by very talented musicians, giants of rock scene. I can't agree the band was underrated, as wrote one of us. The then, in 70th, "Traffic" was one of the best group, very loved & listened ... Their first LP was narcotic, "departure", fantastic!!!
i've been on a winwood kick, i love the look in his eyes when i see him sing.
if i could find that straight mind look in reality, i don't think i'd be so opposed
to being around other human beings. honestly
Steve could play! I just love the sound he got from his axe on this song. Superb!
Nothing better than this.
great song great singer he is mr fantasy
I was the hippie fm dj at k101 in 1970 ..i played this song a lot...
saw him play in Charlotte a few years ago before Covid....He came on right before Steely Dan (before Walter Becker passed away)......Stevie was amazing...still has a fantastic voice...sounded just like when I saw him play with Traffic back in the 60's....one of my all time favorite artists....
One of the nicest voices ever
EPIC & without flaw. 50 year tour, in the presence of angelic choir kissed by God joy brilliance. Love you madly, Stevie.
Back when everybody was HAPPY !!!
Drugged you mean... by a psyop.
If the CIA are responsible for this GBA is all I have to say.
Love it. Wish I could retro back and do it again>!
Unbelievable video and song! FYI! In case anyone really cares i was born in 53 and in 1972 when i was 19 i can remember going to the school Grad dance that year wearing the same plaid shirt and same color as the Bass player. It was such a cool shirt for the seventies. Thanks for the great music Stevie!
what a great and underestimated musician Steve Winwood is, saw traffic live and was amazed by his playing
We're in the Endgame now.

1:55 listen to greatness. This kind of solo will be remembered far longer than any Clapton solo IMHO
Clapton spray painted Clapton is God on the walls and people believed him
9/16/1974 New Haven, CT, Veterans Memorial Coliseum
I was there!!!!!!
Great band awesome song 🤙
Check your boy's eyeballs. He's more stoned than anyone in the whole place--and laying it down. Way to go, dude.
Charles Warren that’s not a stoned look. That’s a tripping balls look.
Ill have whatever he is high on.
@@miguelramirez1334 Could you handle it? I sure couldn't.
@@soaringvulture maybe lol. I have taken LSD and mushrooms a few times in the past.
At least he is not "pinned"
