Oops, forgot to mention Sigil of Silence is also very useful to pull with if it contains some casters. Instead of standing there casting away they will just run at you.
Awesome guide man you didnin five mins the rest were thrity mins plus. Im having some problems with the demon hunter , people getting mad at me because im not doing enough damage , its not a nice experience. The yhing is i did learn from this video but i was basically doing thise things. Should I wait to do dungeons until im a higher item level ? I think my lvl is 125 or something right now. Thanks
@@6789uiop I actually quit playing wow in between that break when Chains of domination came out , I had the worst experience in shadowlands, so much happier since I quit.
cool guide i like the look of it, but maybe you can include practical things like "this is how i start a pull to keep threat etc" "During heavy dmg i like to do X" thanks man, have a nice day :D
The sad things is people will always prefer BDK, Prot pala and Brew Monk for raids and mythic+ (SL) cuz of meta.... I hope they will buff the self healing a bit or revert the nerf for soul c and demonic talent atleast, so people will accept it more and more. Anyway VDH is the best in terms of FUN thats for sure :)
@@Treran I just came back to the game after being away since MoP (where I was super casual...basically quit mid-cata). Anyway, in the few days I've been playing and what limited resources I've skimmed over, it's CLEARLY apparent that Demon Hunters are by FAAAAR the "best"(?) and certainly most-used of all the tanks for Mythic+ dungeons. Nothing else even comes close (I think it's like DH > all other tanks combined). So, my question is - what happened? Reading this comment confused the hell out of me, as I wasn't aware DH tanks were the poor choice just a few months ago...
My understanding is that mobility is by far the most useful quality a tank can possess when it comes to high-end M+ keys. Even if they were 10-20% worse-off when it came to mitigation or damage, I would imagine that skilled groups would still have no problem whatsoever if it meant having a tank with much greater mobility/kiting prowess (as you are rarely face-tanking the mobs anyway, so when you are you would have CDs up most of the time), and from the looks of it (this video) DH tanks were just as mobile then as they are now(?)....
Probably neither. DPS has a special ability to get themselves killed no matter what the tank and healer are doing. Just keep tanking if you want to, don't worry about what others are doing or saying, just have fun.
Info says " I expect you to know your class abilities, I'm not just going to read them to you!" and then proceeds to read them to me. Terrible guide with the same problems as every other guide for vengeance, you just sit there and read off abilities that we can clearly read ourselves. How do you start most fights? Do I immolation aura the moment I land from infernal strike or do I start building fury first with shear/fracture? Also saying things like "this is gonna be a reactive ability but its only on a 1 min cd and does aoe so youre probably gonna use it on cd". is confusing as fuck. Do I save it as a reactionary cooldown or do I use it every time its available? I really wish people that arent good at actually explaining things would just stop doing "guides" about things because I have wasted my entire morning watching no fewer than 6 "guides" and "how to's" and every one is exactly the same. "here are your abilities, ill read them for you.... the end". These aren't guides, they're audible books for my spellbook.
Maybe don't watch a guide with "basic" in it. I'm just trying to get people to use demon spikes man. Maybe you should do some research and make a guide. Thanks for the comment though. I appreciate feedback even if it's people on a rant for some reason.
Thanks for the positive feedback! I tried to stay away from talents as its starts to change things a little and can really start to differ in how you play. So for the basics I just stuck with core mechanics. Maybe I should do a talent video!

Thank you. This helped me out massively. And helped me not die so much on stream lol. Very very well done, sir.
This is a good starter guide, thanks man
Yes thanks for this cause I'm new to this. I was a bit confused before!

Yeah that sucks. Agree. I feel Mythic-blocked from flying and am sick of raiding since LK.

Good, basic guide - just enough to help me skip reading all the crap on my new demon hunter.
Glad to hear! Reading is the worst.

Thanks! I always appreciate feedback. Maybe I should do a threat/tips/dungeon vs raid type video. You have yourself a nice day as well!

Time to change the meta!! Keep having fun!
@@Treran You know what? True! TIme to change the meta, I was planning to play Bdk or prot pala cuz of meta, but lets play with VDH and have fun!

I'm new to tanking and I am scared to tank another dungeon again. I did it once and 1 person died but idk if that was my fault or the healers

You're right. This is not a guide, not even a basic one, this is an audible audiobook of Demon Hunter skills as denoted in-game.
It's a shame this doesn't mention Fracture, but great tips, thanks :)

Its demon hunter nothing much to talk about :)
