- We were just about to continue our bicycle tour when the Corona virus pandemic shut down borders all around the world. So we got stuck here in The Gambia in West Africa without any idea about when we would be able to continue our world tour. Let's make the best of the situation! 🌱
We grow some veggies and try to fix our leaking roof before rainy season starts, we learn to make the traditional West African dish accara and our friend brings us a very cute gift.

We are Peyman and Matilda and since 2018 we are cycling around the world for 10 YEARS, making vlog-style documentary videos about our adventures.
We have cycled from Finland to Africa, and currently we are cycling the west coast towards South Africa and from there to Kenya. After Africa we will start to cross Asia and the Americas.

You can put a mix of porcelain cement and white cement to cover leaking roof or use polythene cover

I visited The Gambia last year in August, during the rainy season. I'm planning to go back there in 2021 probably in the dry season, Gambia is a special place. Love from south of Italy ❤️

So nice to you making the best of the situation. I was in the Gambia about 30 years ago and nothing much seems to have changed. The people still seem very poor, they waste nothing and are very helpful to strangers. Keep the videos coming, even with no bike content they remain interesting.

Very educational and well done, very good team work. You're a true survivalist. You should do a video on the basics of survival and planting vegetables. After seeing you both, I wish I was where you are. Tough life here in TX, USA. I remember casava from my home in Jinja, Uganda, we called it Mogo.
