This is an example why I hate the term "Practice makes perfect". My personal saying is "Practice improves you". Because in the end, nothing in this world is perfect. Even if you are able master doing something, there's bound to be something that can be improved.

    • @andymcneilly
      @andymcneilly 5 років тому +8

Zayn Sabri Indeed, we can only improve because once something perfect, there is nothing else. People who construct, learn, build, and all are forever stuck in this accursed state of mind. If a human perfect in knowledge, powers, emotions, all that then his only dream of impossibility would be that.... Someone who can kill him. Then it's power was reborn as the infinity gems.

I love Mayuri for so many reasons.
He's such a real character it's scary. People can easily become lost in what they do that they begin to forget morality, and end up doing something that may be seen as abhorrent.
He's much more different in his approach to battle too, though he isn't the "all brains" clichè type, he still has plenty of brawn to compliment that brain.
Yes, a lot of the characters in this show are extremely intelligent, especially in battle. But Mayuri's approach in battle is very unique in that he not only fights when he does to fight an enemy, or protect someone, he fights as a learning experience. Every fight of his is an experiment to him, and that's amazing.

You don’t want to get up, but the urge to urinate is just too strong!
You make up your mind to go!
You run to the bathroom, stand in front of the toilet, and let loose!
You think that all your life has led to this moment!
    But then you realize!
It isn’t the bathroom, you’re still in bed!
That feeling of lukewarm wetness spreads like wildfire!
But you don’t stop! You can’t stop!

As an educator, I do not refer to learning as achieving perfection but rather as accomplishing proficiency, expertise, or mastery over a topic. Mostly because that even I cannot say I am someone who has achieved perfection in the subject I teach. To say so is to admit that there is nothing more for me to learn. Which for any educator, would be nothing short of a lie as there is always the opportunity to learn and improve oneself. Perfection in its own way, is more of a curse to strive for. Rather than an endgame.

You know what’s sad, even though Mayuri speech about perfection is absolutely correct. There are people out there who won’t believe it even though it’s true. Because people who tend to think they’re perfect or is better than everyone else. Are extremely egotistical or are complete narcissists, because when comes to people who have huge egos they let their pride prevent them from seeing the true or acknowledged their flaws. People would rather died then admit they’re wrong or not perfect and that’s just pathetic and sad. It’s show how fragile their mentality and egos are when facing the true about themselves that they’re too stubborn admit.

The only things that are perfect are the divine. Gods, Goddess and even angels. Mortals could never reach that end. But mortals can still keep improving indefinitely. Your potential is the reason for that, if you can reach it. All have potential but few actually tap into it.
Keep reaching for your potential before it goes to waste.

Perfection is a fleeting concept. Very situational. Like a firework exploding in the night sky or a flower blooming in the spring. A flickering moment where your perception/perspective/experience is in tuned with the universe.

one of the reasons why Mayuri is one of my Favorite Captains of the Gotei 13, he may be a madman, but he's also a genius, Genius and insanity are linked, his insanity feeds his Genius.
I always find this speech inspirational to admit that we are never perfect.

It's a good speech for many aspects of life, It makes sense even down to society and it's push to be 100% perfect.
I feel kids today need to hear this because they try to hard at being the perfect person in the eyes of everyone, yet feel so empty and depressed trying to reach perfection.

A man who understands the nature life and the nature of perfection, can only look upon God and feel pity. For perfection removes all purpose and meaning. Triumph and accomplishment becomes nothing. Creativity and imagination lose all value. That which makes doing anything truly worthwhile, simply does not exist.

The Perfect being you said, well I have to tell you the honest truth as I see it in this world nothing perfect exists it may be a cliche after all but it's the way things are that's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection its infatuation but ultimately I have to ask myself what is the true meaning of being perfect the answer I came up with was nothing not one thing. The truth of the matter is despise perfection if something is truly perfect that's it the bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination no space for intelligence or ability or improvement do you understand
