you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend for the last days xD
@Leonel Houston yea, have been using instaflixxer for months myself :)
I’m a lineman who’s lost some weight and is a little undersized this year, got put at linebacker and didn’t understand my coverage assignments, thanks for the informative video!
That's on your coaching
I've been a football fan for years!! I never knew this!!.. I What have I been watching? thanks for this!
Gary Velasquez thanks Gary!
in Zone D. I would do cover 4 plus asking 2 corners to press at the line and force him to go inside along the sidelines.
zone 2, 3, 4 even in your mid zone don't have anyone you would have to drop back and help out the deep zone
Love it. you didn't throw in a lot of a football jargon and lingo like other people tend to do....
Glad it helped! 🏈
This video really helped me thank you so much god bless you
thanks this helped alot
i have tried to understand this from other video's but they just confused me more. thanks to you i now understand better. always wondered how the play by play guys were quick to say the coverages. now i know simple. thanks again you made watching the game more fun.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you are able to enjoy this great game! 🏈
Have a great day god love you
Well my 7th grade football season got cancelled because of Covid and the schools we’re not open so next year when I’m the wuadrrback I’ll remember thsi
What’s the play if you got 2 guys running different flats in your zone?
Typically it wouldnt happen, would more of a flood concept with 1 receiver each over and under. In that case, i coach my guys to defend the deeper guy, let them have the shorter pass and make a tackle
what does hook to curl and flats mean?
The Hook to curl is an area on the field. It's typically where hook/curl routes are run. It's the short part of the field right near the has marks. The flats are the area of the field, often the short outside part of the field.
Watch the video it’s not hard

"I, too, grew up playing Madden." :)
How would this work with 3 lbs instead of the 2 lb? Bc my school uses this but has omaha and 4th zone and im trying to learn that 0,1 zone coverage is man but only on 4 you back peddle 4 yards into your zone curl flat
typically in Man Coverage (cover 0 and cover1)
You have 5 Defenders responsible for a man (because the offense is limited to 5 eligible receivers)
And your basic pass rush is always 4 players.
That leaves you with 2 Defenders that can either blitz or play a zone to help everyone else
And your responsibility DOES NOT always determine where you are on the field the same way that where you line up and what position you play doesn’t necessarily determine what youre going to be doing.
Obviously that will affect how youre able to defend your responsibility. But technically you can have any zone or man responsibility and play anywhere on the field.
For example if for whatever reason you want to do it. You could have all your Dlinemen drop into zones and have your lbs and DBs blitz. Youre probably going to get toasted like that. BUT you CAN do it.
I'm a 1st year freshman I'm so confused and I'm getting frustrated and thinking of quitting
bro same lmao
Don't quit! Football takes time to understand. Ask questions. Ask questions. God almighty ask questions. When I was in high school the only wah to learn football was to practice. You have an unlimited amount of information online now a days. Don't be afraid of talking to your coach and tell him you don't understand. A good coach doesn't expect you as a 1st time freshman to know everything. You have to put yourself in those uncomfortable situations where you don't know and the best way to learn is to practice and fail. Dont give up kid. You'll regret it for the rest of your life.b
Why are you confused? We're happy to help with any questions you may have. Stick with it! Feel free to reach out to us via email or twitter with your questions.

I just signed up for a free course the first video will not play
Hey Adam - Which course? We will look right into it.
I clicked here for actual football
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
Hook and Curl are TWO different zones, not one. It doesn't make sense to call it hook/curl if it is only ONE. There are two words, because those are two zones. Why do you make up a new "true middle " zone and not call it "hook", like 99% of all teams I know? First I thought your "true middle" is just the "high hole".(Don't get me wrong, I like your content, but this one, I don't get.)
You might have to adapt to the times. Its not called hook-to-curl because that defender must defend whether the receiver goes inside or out. This is a common term. Its used together because it happens in the same area. So one person can defend both.
Title says football..turns out it's just a handegger clickbait

Ufffff... please specify what football. While North America calls it Football, the rest of the world calls it American Football
