Tell them that we are falling back to a more strategical position to hold our lines and reduce the loss of numbers. Therefore, to continue this war for a longer amount of time. Don't worry, they'll get all giddy.
They tried to hold trenches against the Krieg haha. The Krieg were born in the trenches molded by them, they merely adopted them. My favorite Krie quote was when a planet being attacked by Tyranids was overrunning the defenses. The leader of the Krieg regiment told the other guard regiments his would stand and hold the line so the rest could retreat. They said that was insane you would all die, he responds "This is the Death Korp of Krieg did you think that was just a pretty name?"
What i liked most about Sodaz animations was, they showed a semi realistic combat scenario with combined forces instead of just a singular squad of Space Marines. Its a great tragedy GW forced them to stop doing 40k. But the Fallout animations Sodaz is doing now are great as well

For the Deathkorps, 99% Casualties and Achieving their objective is acceptable. The Deathkorp are sent for when a war of Attrition is the game, months long bombardments are needed, static trenchlines, they are specialists in a long forgotten form of Warfare. Trench Warfare.
Imagine them combined with Iron Warriors. It would be a menacing alliance, ideal infantry to execute ideally calculated orders, never surrender, like figures on the chessboard

So the Warhammer Animation Controversy happened cause around the time Astartes was coming out GW announced "Warhammer +" a paid subscription platform for Official Warhammer Content.....right afterwards GW started pressuring the Warhammer Animation Community into Signing Up to make things for "Warhammer +", the catch was all their content had to be scrubbed from UA-cam & their Channels closed. Many in the Warhammer Community saw signing up with this as a Betrayal & attacked any creator that decided to do it. Even then for the people that did sign up GW ended screwing most of them over in the end.
Janovich has a series on both the Krieg Civil War (their origins) and is continuing another concerning the Siege of Vraks. It's in a similar style to Kings and Generals (Wizards and Warriors); so if it isn't your cup of tea, then Leutin might have a video on it [I think.]
I´d like to point out, that the Space Marine survived a hit by a rocket launcher, that seems to have just made a hole through his chest...the guy was probably back in action within days. P.S. They come from a place called 'war'...Nomen Est Omen
Looks to be a krak rocket, not frag. Probably turned the left lung to mush and might have KOed the original heart, leading to him being down and out but still alive. Probably kept the tank from blewing up like the first one, taking the brunt of the rocket's power. That tank commander probably is only alive cause that marine got between the tank and the missile
@@CarameltheMoo a frag would have probably not made it through the power armor at least by the rules I played with frag had only an ap of 5 vs 3 of the krak. So yeah survival while out of the fight is still super impressive
There was a lot of shit that went down when GW decided to start going after their fans who were making animations based on their I.P., later it turned out because they were starting their own streaming service (Warhammer TV).
Kriegers are a special breed, much happy gasmask noises when being told an offensive is coming. The Kriegers feel they betrayed the Emperor and to atone for that, they send their people to die for the Imperium in the most dangerous warzones. Krieg's tithe to the Imperium is it's soldiers who are trained from a very early age with live weapons so deaths in training are not uncommon. Those who fail are used as live ammo target practice or are killed in training.
Arbitor Ian has some great 40k videos(for learning) also There is an interesting 3weeks old video called "WHO'S IN CHARGE? How the Imperium of Man is Organised" by him. It nicely presents you the "hierarchy" in the imperium...Even tho its not exactly that.

The craziest kreig tactic is literally heavy artillery that doesn't stop even while the infantry charges a fixed position. Imagine trying to hold a line and hunkering down to avoid arty fire and when it doesn't stop and you start to panic you realize they're already on top of your position, explosions still ringing around you.
While every other Imperial Guard Comissar struggle to keep their men and stopping them from fleeing, Death Korps comissars struggle so bad to keep their men in line so they don't charge straight up into battle in a berserker mode. And it's not just a joke, this shit is canon HAHA
The end is icing on the cake, when you see how devastated the cadian tanker is after the battle while the few surviving kriegsmen show no emotion. Supposedly kriegsmen are not fully human but instead vat-grown clone soldiers who spend their time maturing in the vat-tanks while being brainwashed into suicidal soldiers. This is also why kriegsmen don't have names but instead recieve a designation like a disposable product. It's also why other guard regiments find them so alien, even by Imperial Gaurd standards their complete disregard for human life is deeply unsettling.

Most people seem to not notice, but the person on the ground that the Kriegsman executes shortly after they first enter battle is actually the officer the Chaos Marine was lifting and preparing to kill. Almost as an act of mercy killing.
My friend always said something anout kreig that got through to me "they are what the final evolution of the guard is in 40k, what the crushing attrition of 10,000 years of war would do to the mortal soldier, they would need to be completely without survival instincts for the individual, drained of all character but zealotry and training They are the assembly line of the guard personified, distilled to it's maximum potency

Since they are on like this crusade to ban or copyright strike anyone who has done anything warhammer animation related. For example why the creator of If the emperor had TTS has stopped making anything about Emperor TTS, because he was afraid he was gonna be next and would lose money or his channel. But said he would come back if Games Workshiop would calm down. I also think Sodaz is just letting the hate get to him and focus too much on minority hate when he recieved huge positive feedback. I get it can be hard for people making content for like first time and have hard time to isolate from minor hate. It's like the guy who did Death of Hope, he stopped making it entirely for some minor like 5% of likes was dislikes. While some did love the video and just generally gave some good critique of feedback on how he could make it even better, he took it as hate.
Corpos does a lot of things like that. It's a tactic they use to pressure small businesses and artists to work for them or sell the creations or just want them gone due to those small businesses/artists does better work than the corpos. What the corpos do the pressure them is of course the white collars hound them daily to sign on a contract or sends their thugs to harass them.
Kinda late, but I'd like to point out my favorite comment someone left about the original video: Normal guardsmen will advance behind the space marine while he shields them. While the guardsmen from Krieg will advance in front of the space marine to keep him safe from the enemy.
I have limited knowledge about Warhammer and most of I know is from Luetin but Death Korps are basically not afraid of death and that whats makes them so dangerous.

I did one of those "what faction are you" quizzes and i got the Korp. It made me super happy as they're my favorite units but i felt dirty too as it's basically saying im an emotionless dude who just wants to kill and die😂
The way she got excited when the Krieg came to the rescue made me lowkey happy. Such an adorable reaction to the most dangerous and brutal regiment. Thank you for reacting to my brethren.
'Horse' is a bit of a misnomer. The 'Krieg horse' is a carnivore, with flesh tearing fangs and clawed paws. The mask isn't to protect the 'horse' but to stop them randomly biting people.
The krieg lore is so over the top. In lore they had to hold them back so they wouldn't go and die so eagerly in battle. Their asthetic is WW1 expect the krieg guys actually want to assault the entrenched machine guns.
You can find alot of soadzs old work here on UA-cam, but after the whole GW/sellout debacle he decided to stop doing warhammer and started focusing on other franchises first was a pretty awesome titanfall 2 short, then a Stalker, a huge Halo short, his most recent attraction is fallout and so he is working right now on a fallout new vegas short showing the NCR and brotherhood of steel fighting over helios one a giant solar farm (an event that takes place before the game) so suffice to say he is very much still around and honestly his work has gotten even better youtube.com/@SODAZ?si=6_YKIhO6MlwkDavR
The commenters might have already told you, but just in case, the "Whispers of the Warp" , in other words rumors, say that end of this year or more likely 1st quarter of next year , Krieg is getting a full army release. No one knows what they might get , smart money is on Death Riders, the horse units, either as a full kit or a kit upgrade of the Rough Riders , Krieg specific character units , heavy weapon teams and a upgrade kit to most likely add Krieg bits and pieces to things like tanks.
SODAZ 40k animation (as well as Fallout, Titan Fall, Stalker etc etc) animations are great, it's a pity that 40k have missed this creator. About the Kgier topic, I want to suggest "VRAKS - Chapter 1" ua-cam.com/video/l7U93YjucD0/v-deo.html (you will be amazed by the SCALE of 40k war machine) and Death Korps of Krieg [WH40K SFM ANIMATION] ua-cam.com/video/hmv9YA2pS-g/v-deo.html it has even better action scene (and lasgun sound) then SODAZ. SODAZ ongoing series about Fallout New Vegas (NCR taking over Helios from the Brotherhood of Steel) is MUST watch if you are familiar with Fallout series. Do not, I repeat do not, engage with a Kreigsman when the shovel is out. Even Astartes, Commisars and Sororitas don't mess with anyone from kreig when the shovels are out.

The only unrealistic part is a world eater leaving a marine alive while he deals with guardsmen, if he had the dark angel down it would be a chain sword in the throat.
the horses are not... horses. those thing agenetically engineered warmounts. first thing to notice is that they don't have hovves, they have talons, similar to the Emu or Ostrich. and you don't want that in your face....

Corpos does a lot of things like that. It's a tactic they use to pressure small businesses and artists to work for them or sell the creations or just want them gone due to those small businesses/artists does better work than the corpos. What the corpos do the pressure them is of course the white collars hound them daily to sign on a contract or sends their thugs to harass them.

Other guardsman regiments have commissars to maintain morale and curb traitors, the Krieg guardsmen have commissars to curb their suicidal actions.
I have limited knowledge about Warhammer and most of I know is from Luetin but Death Korps are basically not afraid of death and that whats makes them so dangerous.

Look into the horses they are using. They are terrifying monsters
The horses. They werent gasmasks, horses nose better than us. They are feed bags same as our RL cavalry. So the horse can eat on the move.

When a kriegsman shoots at you then you shoot back, if he tries to stab you with a bayonet you try to stab him back but when the shovel comes out run.
'Horse' is a bit of a misnomer. The 'Krieg horse' is a carnivore, with flesh tearing fangs and clawed paws. The mask isn't to protect the 'horse' but to stop them randomly biting people.

The krieg lore is so over the top. In lore they had to hold them back so they wouldn't go and die so eagerly in battle. Their asthetic is WW1 expect the krieg guys actually want to assault the entrenched machine guns.

The commenters might have already told you, but just in case, the "Whispers of the Warp" , in other words rumors, say that end of this year or more likely 1st quarter of next year , Krieg is getting a full army release.
No one knows what they might get , smart money is on Death Riders, the horse units, either as a full kit or a kit upgrade of the Rough Riders , Krieg specific character units , heavy weapon teams and a upgrade kit to most likely add Krieg bits and pieces to things like tanks.
SODAZ 40k animation (as well as Fallout, Titan Fall, Stalker etc etc) animations are great, it's a pity that 40k have missed this creator. Do not, I repeat do not, engage with a Kreigsman when the shovel is out. Even Astartes, Commisars and Sororitas don't mess with anyone from kreig when the shovels are out.

The community is amazing- the company not so much, proven by their handling of our precious fan animations which were 100% all community. They didn't do an animation ban, they enforce their IP by telling people not to put a paywall to animations based on their IP. Of course the thousands of couch lawyers and reddit law experts don't know how any of that works and keeps regurgitating misinformation to each other.

Woah, someone who actually pronounces "korps" (properly it should be corps, but we'll ignore that) correctly. The P is silent, folks.
The only unrealistic part is a world eater leaving a marine alive while he deals with guardsmen, if he had the dark angel down it would be a chain sword in the throat.
Sometimes Chaos Marines are cocky, especially if the Bolter got destroyed.
the horses are not... horses. those thing agenetically engineered warmounts. first thing to notice is that they don't have hovves, they have talons, similar to the Emu or Ostrich. and you don't want that in your face....
Kreig will burn their own planet down in the name of the emperor - rebuild it and fight on in his name.
