Schulz makes great point when mentioning the fact that Will Smith may not know his true self. Since a young age he has been a huge star and seemingly always acted like he did as Fresh Prince until more recent roles.
If will smith acted like the character on fresh prince. He wouldn’t get played by Jada and he’d be able to take a joke from Rock. Will ain’t half the person he portrayed to be on Fresh Prince and the only reason a lot of us always liked him is because we wanted to believe he was.
Well he wrote a book about himself and admitted that the nice guy act is just an act. "Uncle Fluffy" is how his therapist put it. Then the real will without the fake nice guy costume is "the general." If he doesn't know who he is he shouldn't just type a bunch of shit about himself then publish it. He should also get a new therapist. We saw who will is at the Oscar's. Assaulted someone in front of the entire planet. Jada is an adult millionaire. Alopecia is literally just hair loss. And the internet is full of delusional people that think physical violence is an appropriate reaction to a mild joke.
The thing is, if Chris Rock had reacted to that the way people apparently wanted him to, it would have turned into an episode of "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong" because while he might not press charges for a slap we all know Smith would.

People who think like that (Chris is week/soft) are either teens or adults whom have insecurities & did not grow up mentally/emotionally. That approval thing he goes on is 100%
Schulz has great perspective, first time seeing him outside his standup, he’s very intelligent
I don't think this will tarnish Chris Rock's reputation in any way. But even if it does it's irrelevant to how he "should" have acted. Chris Rock (after maybe some initial shock) acted like he wanted to. He didn't sit there and think "Hmmm... I'll look like a bitch in the eyes of young people if I don't retaliate." Letting your actions be determined by what others will think and not according to your own principles and how you want to live your life is absolutely pathetic. It would put him on Will's level.
Say what you want. Jim Carrey's remark was uncensored and genuine.
Isn't this the guy who gave his now dead ex 3 different STDs, physically abused her and got her hooked on coke? Real genuine guy
@@willt8848 all I know about him is his wife from before he got rish and famous left him. Understandably untrusting
@@shalifi7774 What does this have to do with what I said about his ex girlfriend who committed suicide?
I’m going get that incogni
Chris was NOT spineless, he handled the situation correctly and so much better than most of us would
Chris Rock's next special is going to be the most viewed of all time.
Best take on a on this situation that I’ve heard so far besides Candace
For those wondering while Jim is being “cancelled” now is because he won an award years ago and footage is resurfacing of him kissing the female host while she didn’t know it was comming, ya know showing old videos to support your guy in an argument it’s all that is
Definitely a hit. Probably monied Hollywood.
It’s confirmed that was staged by Alicia Silverstone herself years later.
It was probably her party story.. "you know I once got kissed by Jim Carey"
As someone who consumes a lot of media, I try to stay far away from anything Hollywood for entertainment. It's more toxic than Flint Michigan.
Never heard of this and I'm going to forget it in five minutes.
JimCarey was so on point agree 💯
I will always know Chris Rock as "How much for one rib?"
