- Since I did the carburetor replacement video, I have had requests for follow up videos. I wanted to show how well it performs. I was having a good time until... I crashed it. I ended up with a cut on my head, and I'm lucky, it could have been a LOT worse. Learn from my example.....

Props to you for not jumping into instinct and trying to catch yourself. So many people have lost their hands due to trying to catch themselves in a roll.

I didn't even think I hit anything but the grass... Until I saw the video. I think the injury came from the wire connector that hangs from the top of the cage.
Hey, I'm much older and bigger than you....these things bring back the kid in all of us. Normally doing doughnuts is what bends the axles or rims....even will snap off the studs. That has never happened to me, and I hope it doesn't ever happen again...haha.
My son and I had a similar experience with me on the outside of the curve. The kart was completely fine, we were a little worse for wear. Great video!!
The Trailmaster video with the carburetor problem is what brought me to your channel, in the first place. I find these little off road vehicles fascinating.

happened to me in the 4 seat 300 model... stuck my arm out and nearly lost it tore all elbow ligaments grade 2, brachiales, bicep, tricep, pronter flexor and needed skin graft. Had one of the ligaments fully tore I would have lost my arm. Been 1.5 years and have my arm back to like 98% after 2 surgeries and therapy and got in the kart yesterday for the 1st time after cleaning the carb, fresh gas, and alignment.. Glad to see you did not make same mistake, safe riding! To those reading keep your arms/legs in the vehicle and let the cage to what it needs to do, harness also will help keep you inside
Sorry to hear you were injured. I hope others will learn from my bad example. I used to race stock cars, and it was so important to keep your arms inside the car. Our instincts are hard to fight. I suffered an exploded elbow when I was 15 from wrecking a 10 speed and thinking I could catch myself with my hands... failed miserably.

I just rolled my go cart, which is the same exact kind on Father’s Day in a field. I was riding in with me and my friend.
But yeah, it was the same kind you have but green but luckily I was wearing my seatbelt

Yep. When I was 15, I crashed a 10 speed bike while doing about 30 miles per hour. My instincts told me to put my hands out to catch myself. I ended up with a shattered elbow, and a severe head injury. If I had done a "tuck and roll", I likely would have walked away with bruises and abrasions.
I rolled the same buggy the same way but going a little faster and stuck my arm out. Two bones broken and surgery to have metal put in to hold them. Also have it on video😂

You may laugh at me and this may not help but with my John Deere L120 mower , after it sits for a awhile n i mean just 4 to 7 days i have to take the fuel tank cap off and literally blow into the tank to push fuel up into the see through filter on the side of my motor and the damn thang will crank up every time , only if i blow air pressure into the tank. Otherwise ill just end up running the battery down. Go figure, n im by no means a mechanic, but it works every damn time.

Better than I should, I think. Head doesn't hurt. Little stiffness in the neck, and oddly enough a bruise on my right hip....

@@davebrittain9216 I think it was something else. I watched the video again, and the steering wheel never came close to my right hip. I think it was part of the roll bar.
@@jodaddysworkshop786 The crazy thing is that you got it all on video. Back when I was young we would do all sorts of crazy things in the wrecking yard with cars and never had the fun of looking back over what you did like we can now.
