Pete: My son bought an Eastwood Cut20 for automotive sheet metal cutting. It has a Trafamet S25K torch with a .06 tip. Local prices seem extravigant, about $ 4.00 Canadian per set. I found a Chinese electrode PRO 110 and tip PDO 116-06 but prices don’t seem much cheaper than from Trafamet. Would like to find best online price for 50-60 piece kit. Thanks, David Anderson
I have a vector weld 200d ac/dc tig mma plasma (50a), it has the same pt31 torch but i can't seem to cut through 8mm mild steel, do you think it's the 70psi pressure I'm using?
The melting point of Cu is way less than nickel... copper is 3 on the Moh's scale of hardness... nickel makes stainless steel 5.5 on the Moh's scale of hardness
New to the channel, great stuff, straight to the point and solid information. Subscribed 👍
Thanks mate
Thanks Crazy Pete!
You bet!
Thank You~!! I m beginner
Great cheers
I have a Forney P20 and I don't think I can get Nickel plated one's, thanks Pete!
only think the are available on the pt-31 or lg-40 torches
You can ground the electrode and make it a non contact full time spark... it eliminates the starting and stopping behavior of the spark type ignition
good idea
Thanks for the information...
G'day
Any time!
