@GRP Lining Services wtf? Ever heard of thinking outside of the box? Sure their idea with the time frame they had was pretty risky but this car has been one their more interesting projects so far
Marty is without a shadow of a doubt a diehard car man. Love his dedication to this nugget. Also love the fact that Scotty is 1) a tuning legend, and 2) does not fit well in a midget II. 😆 Excellent content as per usual gentlemen. 👊🔥
This series is a testament to friendship. There are not many people in the world that wouldn’t have gone full American Chopper by the second day of madness.
I hope I'm speaking for everyone when I say that this thing is too cool NOT to boost. I gotta respect the time crunch, but once there is more time, it would be amazing to see this thing get a proper turbo setup. Keep up the great work lads ✌️
Absolutely loving the variety of personalities and attitudes on this series. Marty's "go get-em" focus, Moog's Marty-fan-boy faith, Dave's hopeful-but-fearful giggling and Scotty's "this is whats happening, this is what we'll do" mattter-of-fact-ness. Great viewing and great problem solving.
From Calgary, AB Canada seeing Scotty with an epic truck AND a Calgary Flames sticker on the back really made my day. Super cool to see a little bit of our culture on the other side of the world!! Love you guys, keep up the sick builds. All of y'all are truly legends
I love this proper cooking without a cookbook with ingredients gathered from everywhere. Around 12:20 Scotty is doing this, but also on the mechanical side Marty you have done a lot of this. And because of the time, it is so tense again and again. Great content Marty and Moog!
Congratulations, Martin! You didn't just do something to make your Daihatsu run before... you LEARNED it. The Daihatsu knowledge is yours. You should be proud of all that you were able to work through and gain a win.
We have to use it on every EV because of the huge airlocks in the battery packs. Ended up using it on every cooling system now and it's perfect don't even need to bleed the system

Hey guys, just so you know that copper pipe you used for the radiator piping ought to be changed out after the commercial as the different metals will cause the aluminum to corrode.
People on the Internet building 1000 hp monsters, meanwhile MCM working their asses off for a 40 hp swap, brilliant. That's why you're my favourite UA-cam channel!
Absolute legends guys been following you for 14 years and never commented you guys have got me through some rough times and the work you guys to for reach out is amazing so a massive thank you for all the maddddd times from the England 👍💪
Man, I was smiling all the way when the little nugget finally started to play nice! Never thought I would be so stoked to see something like this come to fruition! This is why I love MCM!
What a schlogg!!! .. But you guys showed that being a car guy tests your patience, ingenuity, problem solving, knowledge, and above all, your persistence! .. Doing easy bolt ons is satisfying, without a doubt. And they're made to be easy and fun, and you pay for that ease of installation, with quick results. But there is absolutely no other feeling on Earth compared to the one you guys must've felt after overcoming challenge, after challenge, after challenge, and coming out on the other end with this absolutely beautiful little nugget... A working little nugget!
@@ThaJay It'd push however much you'd want it to push with the right internals, turbo, tuning, and fuel, but I don't see why it wouldn't be able to push 100 HP with the right parts.
Sorry to burst your bubble people, but what the Might Car Morons did is a waste of time and money. 3 cylinder engines have an odd shaped crank that courses a lot of problems when trying to make horse power.
This is MCM of old - the Midget build has been absolute gold. Awesome work all round guys and true dedication. Marty, Moog, Dave, and Scotty absolute legends!
Really enjoyed this series, back to small nuggs, drama of stuff not working, backyard fixes and seemingly mild panic (from the outside, I’m sure it was different in the moment) Great stuff as always guys
This must've been the toughest build you guys did so far. The Civic build was extensive for what it was but this was one hell of a journey and I reckon it's not over yet, amazing stuff!
Guys, thank you. I was sobbing with happiness when Scott took off his headphones and said that everything was working :) I got stuck together with you when you are already sitting on the couch with happy faces at the end. Amazing job... it's just fucking awesome
This put such a smile on my face just to watch it all unfold, I can only imagine how satisfying it would have been for you guys and the awesome chaps from Haltech after all of the real time and effort. Amazing!!
I can't imagine how much work you guys did to not only swap the "big block" into the Midget but also to shoot, edit, and produce so much content in such a short timeline. Great work!
This is absolutely the BEST automotive adventures and friends show anywhere, ever, and I mean that. I just watched the advertisement and you guys were great in it, even having the last laugh! That thrash to get it working was insane. What an amazing group of friends that helped as well. Thanks for taking us all along with you guys.

What a mad sounding nugget, not the fastest or most powerful thing the boys have ever done but one hell of a laugh, especially with the flame spitting side pipe. So happy for Marty when it started working properly, a proper diehard Daihatsu fan
What a mad dash to get everything sorted. Great respect to everyone involved to work through the frustrations. This was insane. I hope you boost it and tidy up the loose ends when there is more time.
These have been some of the greatest episodes ever, you boys have kept in such suspense and never gave up. So glad it all worked out, somewhat. Hope you go back and throw a turbo on at one stage an make this little beast road worthy! Good on ya fellas! Love ya work!

Scotty is a legend! He got a mess of a car, but managed to sort through it quickly and calmly.
Agreed 100%!
Mess of a car because the idea was rubbish in the first place. Internet views though eh?
@GRP Lining Services wtf? Ever heard of thinking outside of the box? Sure their idea with the time frame they had was pretty risky but this car has been one their more interesting projects so far

Hey guys, just so you know that copper pipe you used for the radiator piping ought to be changed out after the commercial as the different metals will cause the aluminum to corrode.
This is true but they are using antifreeze which always has anti corrosives
Worked that out with our MR2
@@oplefirem Anti corrosives are like anti perspirants. They slow down the issue, but one way or another, something is going to get moist.
