I ate only fruit for 12 days (mostly oranges) and it shocked me how the chronic tightness and pain left my body. I was able to run and even sprint pain free. I hadn’t sprinted in years. My mind was clear and I had more positive thoughts. The energy was amazing. I could read and focus better. I felt light in the gym so any body weight movements felt much easier. Burpees, pull-ups etc. Towards the end my sleep wasn’t the best but I wouldn’t wake up sore like I did before the diet. I like to sleep on my stomach and often wake up a little sore (sore low back) but on this all fruit diet I felt like a kid again. I could easily move around in bed pain free. Anyway, overall I felt 17 again. Young and bendy and light. Cardio improved too.

Thank you, what a great interview. It was nice to identify with you both - the "there's something weird going on here" thinking with conventional solutions to body symptoms, the concern from others due to my weight loss and due to me choosing to walk instead of being driven - gasp! - despite good things happening in my body from my new choices, and studying versus just reading books - mine are often from the library, but I type up notes for reference. So thank you both!! :)

I am in the process of being totally fruitarian. I can say I am about 75% there. I find the time between 5 PM and 7pm are the most challenging for me. I realize it is a process. Thank you to both of you. You are definitely shining examples of how all men should be. Much love!💚

I'm 62 and vegan for 7 years now. I am in the Northeast US so winters are cold. I am transitioning to a raw vegan diet for the warmer months. Usually in the winters, I eat cooked vegan food, especially soups. I am hoping this winter to be able to continue on my raw diet. Thank you for this video.

You brought up how neck pain you had experienced for many years disappeared. This makes complete sense when we understand how much chemistry is affecting our structure. Something as basic has dehydration can cause spine to go out of alignment. I've been a body worker for over 25 years and people are still surprised when I explain to them the low back pain could be connected to their intestines.

OMG - Eli described my husband in one statement: "You don't want your own traditions, cultures, and beliefs challenged, because it invites the suggestion that you have had it wrong - and our egos don't like that." WOW. That's it in a nutshell. As I've watched Eli Martyr and Gillian Berry - I've experimented with switching my way of eating. And I experience the positive benefits each and every time. But I fall back when my husband presents and obstacle and/or criticism. He accepts me eating WFPB, but not going to just fruit, or just raw. He thinks it's radical and ridiculous. So, I have some work to do on myself, building self-confidence, to be able to ignore criticism, not just from him, but anyone who might challenge me. I love these videos - they are so positive. Just what I need.

I want to cry. I've had a 24/7 headache from 3 neck (and head with the third one in 2018) injuries that 110+ doctors and healers have not been able to help. I am a long term mostly cooked and higher fat vegan...but am thin. I did eat mostly raw long ago, but it was VERY high fat. Anyway, to not lose my Federal government job last September, I gave in and got one J&J that has destroyed me. Through a lot of detox regimens and with time, some of the damage is better, but the increased head/neck pain has continued 9 months later. And now I also have new other pain. I am immediately cutting out fats and going mostly raw to start. I will move toward all low fat raw. I am desperate for pain relief.

I'm in my mid thirties now and in very mediocre health. not bad but not excelling. I work all day and have a sedentary job as a tattooer. too stiff from tattooing to work out much. I'm not overweight or anything just creaky body from my job.
I think back to my early twenties sometimes when I was fruitarian for a year and a half. what a honeymoon experience that was. I had ridiculous energy but ended up severely underweight and then eventually with terrible digestive problems until I started eating meat again.
sometimes I think about trying a fruitarian diet again, or at least a diet that's mostly fruit based but some animal foods here and there so keep from beginning underweight. but in the end what I really need is a new job that's active. food is only one small part of the equation.

You definitely don’t need to be 100% fruit to thrive on this lifestyle and get that energy and vitality back 👍 I personally do much better with a more balanced intake of raw foods.
And you’re right - food is only one aspect of health. It’s so important to be relatively active, sleep well, and all the other things that promote wellbeing.

The book also mentions your problem and is related with the liver, and you can't know if your liver is congested (though most have)unless you start cleansing, but once you started you have to go on until it is clean (no stones expelled for 3 or 4 times in a row). Eating raw isn't always great for some foods to get enough nutrition btw for absorbtion.

I’m very sorry you’re experiencing health challenges. In general if it were me - if i wanted to keep on weight while giving my body a chance to heal itself, i would be eating a whole food plant based diet with as many brightly colored fresh organic fruits and vegetables as I could for their anti inflammatory properties and making sure i got in enough calories to keep on my weight, while also getting adequate sleep and spending time in nature to support my nervous system. That is what i would focus on if it were me. I hope that is helpful.

Id like to share a few thoughts about winter eating. I love the idea of this diéta, tried it one season when I had everything from my on garden and I truly enjoyed it. However, IMO in todays world more and more focus should be put on locally produced food that is grown in season. It is both because of this is how we survived before supermarkets (thus our bodies evolved into such eating regime), and also because I find it obscane for food to travel thousands of kms through half the continent. It does not fit the picture sustainable future for me. We should aim to do as little harm to our surrounding as possible. Sorry if I sound negatív, I didn't mean to, just would like to show another aspect of life that extends beyond the individual.

Guys, I appreciate the video...but I would like to comment that your statements about the importance of knowledge can be very confusing and a lot of "knowledge" can be totally wrong. You both must have some idea about which sources of KNOWLEDGE are correct. For example...I just saw a video of "My NMN Experiment" which promulgated a lot of medically and nutritionally accepted "knowledge" to prove that a fruitarian diet is extremely unbalanced and unhealthy and leads to physical wasting and dementia. Well obviously someone perusing these sources of knowledge will come to conclusions opposite to both of yours. In fact keto and carnivore diet promoters refer to their "knowledge". So if you are going to speak of knowledge being important, please list some sources you have valued so we can be at least close to being on the same page. You did address this a bit but would you consider a booklist?

Those of us who don't know have to wait a long time to see what happens to them. I guess by the time I figure it out it will be time to die anyway. So far the Tarahumara indigenous group of people exemplify the best lifestyle evidence for me. And I don't think they ever read anything about what to do.

Vegans pretty much pay attention to their own when they focus on health only... until they become aware of the terrible suffering that meat eating causes to animals. Then they see animal eating as something really cruel and meat eaters as perpetuators of cruelty...ergo...the fervor. Carnivore espousers and keto followers seem to me to be vicious in their promulgation of their diet...referring to vegans as being ignorant fools..."ignorance" is their catch word insult...though the vegans seem as intelligent as anyone. A few bloggers do have open discussions. But in the end the determination of truth will be which population lives the longest as a whole with less disease. Someone will put the data out there...then people will still believe what they want anyway probably...though some will think about it and change.

Had fruits for dinner for a period of time- easy no cook option having something I love- then my GP said that an abdominal ultrasound performed for something else showed I have fatty liver and a cyst. Is it wise to go fruitarian, can my liver process regularly a quantity of fructose? Do I need to examine my liver thoroughly?

Just wondering: Did you consume processed sugar, alcohol, did smoke, it consumed non vegetarian meals as well during the earlier meals of the day? Or were you eating a whole food plant based kind of diet also from dinner fruits?

@@ankitdiwanThanks for asking. I did all those sins ! I introduced fruits gradually and ended up having 6 of them for dinner. The question I am asking the channel owner to answer is it safe to turn fruitarian at this stage? He is ignoring me btw.

I don’t have nearly enough information to offer an opinion on your specific condition. If it were me, i would be eliminating all processed food and animal products and eating a low fat whole food plant based diet.
