And thanks in turn to you Nate. This means a lot coming from a violinist of your caliber. There are many more videos in the works. I'll keep you posted. Best regards.
The two videos on this piece were very helpful. Did you know you're a percussion teacher? I'm helping my son learn this on marimba, and your clear demonstrations of how it is executed on violin gives us a lot of ideas and inspiration as how we might emulate the proper expression on a completely different instrument like marimba. Thanks for your help!
I been trying practicing many time not working until today I find this video and I try to play with the same technique that you teaching, and it's work it's smooth just because the bow it's very helpful.
This video is really great, I think I'm going to find my Czardas music now! :) I always like practicing it in the easier positions first because I know that its in tune and I can get the correct notes in my head before I try the actual fingering.
Hello, this video was immensely helpful in developing skills for this piece. My only problem is perfecting my vibrato. Do you have any tips for playing vibrato so that it sounds fluid and harmonic? Thank you!
I wish my son can play as fun as you do, but he played differently after watch yours, maybe he interpret his own, he definitely is an excellent violinist at age 11 today.
Great job Roy, I really enjoyed it and thanks to you, I do appreciate Monti's Czardas to the point that makes me decide to buy a new violin that gives me the right responsiveness for this piece. Salam
I am watching this video and part 2 .those virtuoso by Roy .I really understand a real virtuosity of this person. Thank you and your name always remarkable in violin of artistry.
Ademas, tengo otro video "How to play fast" que podria ayudar. Por favor visite a mi sitio School of Violin Artistry para otros videos, no de Czardas si no de otras temas que podrian aplicarse.
HOLA ROY GRACIAS POR LA SUGERENCIA EL VIDEO "How to play fast ESTA INCREIBLE ERA LO QUE ESTABA BUSCANDO Y NECESITABA APRENDER ME GUSTARIA SABER SI TIENE UN MAIL DONDE PODER ESCRIBIRLE MAS PERSONALMENTE GRACIAS
Wonderful ! Great, great, great Video ! I was about 3 or 4, 1948 / 1949, my Grandma played the Violin and she told me that the Violin had a Soul ! I wanted to see the Soul of her Violin. I could not ! So, to get the Soul out quickly, I filled her Violin with Water. She died a few months later !
O Caveira -- Thanks for your interest. This video is meant to give some helpful insights but it can't take the place of a good private teacher. Best wishes for violinistic enjoyment and progress.
I have watched this video a few times and was puzzled why I kept thinking of Mel Blanc. I had forgotten that as Professor LeBlanc he taught Jack Benny how to play the violin!
Hello Bilbo. The best videos for developing vibrato are here on UA-cam. Search for Vibrato Master Class with Shakeh Ghoukasian I think you'll find them very helpful. Good luck.
My scumbag teacher wasn't able to show me how to do the harmonics sound as nice as you do, but I'm glad I found your video, now I'm able to do it as it has to be done. Thanks!! Greetings from Mexico!
Idiot. You don't know what you're talking about. What's beautiful about a simple, beginner wrist vibrato? The arm vibrato is much more mature and helps achieve a richer tone.
+Vasco18 VLN Very true. Arm vibrato sounds much more mature. The only thing is, vibrato with the wrist only, is much greater especially if you can get the same sound.
+XxSpiKeDxX Masters exist from both wrist and arm schools, though I have to say, arm vibrato for double-stops and notes above 5th position seems easier to me. I've noticed many folks who use wrist vibrato struggle to match vibrato rate to the rate of the music correctly.
I so much love the way you teach...i learnt so much from this video❤️
Temistrings -- Thank you. That means a lot to me.
Roy you are an amazing and exceptional teacher.I found you recently and hope to learn more and more from you.

Hola Daniel. Gracias en torno a ti. Te he mandado un mensaje privado.
چقدر حرف میزنید 😢
i think he exaggerates wayyyyyyy too much.
And the vibrato is moving the wrist, not the half of the arm
